Oh Weimy sorry you?re having OH trouble.

Welcome to Kate and Pipbin

My best mate has just checked the benefits website to see how much I would get in benefits if I got pg cos my pg colleague just told me how much she pays for nursery! I can?t afford that! I love my best mate sometimes ? she always says the right thing and never complains when I whinge to her about stupid thigns for hours on end, very much like you girls on here Grin

I will update the list very soon, Kate and Pipbin could you let me know your CDs, UCLs and which cycle you?re one, or, let me know if you want to be put on the not counting days list

OP posts:
weimy · 05/05/2011 16:10

Hi guys,

Well we had another row when he came home and then make up sex this morning, suspect it will be too late tho. Bot I did get breakfast in bed Grin

imps i chose one from the Bartemaeus series, djinns and magic and all that.

You are all quite right, he just doesn't get it and that's it and tbh there are things he talks about that I will never ever get my head around Grin

fingers sorry about the lack of SWI :( but you never know till she arrives :)

Josie thank you Grin, I have not thought about childcare at all !!!! :(

Is it ok if I go on the not counting list?

Hi kate & Pipbin Wine

CornishKate · 05/05/2011 16:14

Thank you all for the welcome messages!

Hi Josie- I'm on CD35 (and feeling like AF is on it's way). I will be on cycle 1 as soon as AF does arrive and I'm afraid I have absolutely no idea what a UCL is?! As you can tell I'm a bit new to all of this! I've just started temping today and am charting it on fertility friend. Also started taking pregnacare conception so I think I'm all ready to get started- come on AF!

weimy · 05/05/2011 16:20

Hey ucl is usual cycle length xx

CornishKate · 05/05/2011 16:29

Thanks Weimy. Mine varies a lot, but I will go with UCL 32

JosieSmith1 · 05/05/2011 16:35

Sorry, should have explained that better! I'm heading to the yard after wrk so when I get in tonight at about 7ish I will update the list

OP posts:
Pixiepops · 05/05/2011 16:52

Hi all,

Josie - Can I squeeze onto the list too please?!

I've been ttc with my DP since I came off the pill last Nov. No luck so far, though I'm waiting for some ovulation tests from Amazon to arrive any day now, so hopefully they might help.

Here are my stats:

Pixiepops TTC #1 Cycle 6 UCL 27 days CD 7

Thank you & here's hoping! Smile

LucyLasticNeeGrumbler · 05/05/2011 17:45

weimy - yay for the make-up sex! And even if it was 'too late', it's always good to get practising for next cycle!

Welcome to Pixie and Kate wishing you both the best of luck! Kate - if you are on CD 35 and AF doesn't come for a visit - will that make you the first of us to get a BFP without even starting cycle1?!?!?!

Good luck with the temping tho - I can't remember if it was on this thread or another I wrote about the look on my OH's face when he pulled back the duvet on one of the first mornings I was doing it! Absolute shock!

(sorry -is that TMI?)

MollyDefoe · 05/05/2011 19:25

Evening all -

started miscarrying today :( been a bit of a tough one, tbh - it looked like we were going to lose the house we're buying too. Hopefully that's looking a bit brighter now, but things were pretty miserable this morning. Trying to be philosophical now, and psyching myself up to get back on the shagging wagon (shaggon?). Sorry for 'me' post - hope you're all OK.

Pipbin · 05/05/2011 19:41

Oh Molly Hugs, offers cake.
If anyone deserves a 'me' post then you right now.

LucyLasticNeeGrumbler · 05/05/2011 20:03

Oh Molly

So sorry to hear that.

Sending you a Brew

MollyDefoe · 05/05/2011 20:34

Thanks Pipbin and Lucy - I'm OK, just sad. And I have a bl*y job interview tomorrow, too, which I could really do without. I've been trying to concentrate all day on preparing for the presentation I have to give, and the interview itself, but my mind's really somewhere else. I truly cannot wait for tomorrow night, when I'm going to dive headfirst into a vat of wine :) I know that's not a healthy attitude to alcohol that I'm displaying, but still...

weimy · 05/05/2011 23:39

molly we would all do the same thing I think, good luck with tomorrow. xxxxx

LateToTheTTCParty · 06/05/2011 06:52

Big hugs Molly, and good luck for today. Wink

Did anyone watch the Human Body programme on BBC1 last night? If you didn't you should look at it in iPlayer, it's all about conception and absolutely fascinating - and it sounds like some DHs & OHs could do with watching it as well! Grin
(it does make you wonder how any babies get made at all, what a process!)

CaveMum · 06/05/2011 07:06

Morning all, Molly so sorry to hear of your loss. Feel free to be as self-centred as you like.
Sorry also about the house situation. We're about to put our house on the market and have already missed out on a few houses we were interested in because of the time it has taken to sort ourselves out.
Good luck with the job interview and enjoy the Wine tonight.

Welcome to Pixiepops Grin

CornishKate · 06/05/2011 08:05

Oh Molly I am so sorry to hear that. Good luck with the interview.

Latetothettcparty I saw that programme too last night- it was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend it. Weimy- I don't think your OH could question the science of babymaking after he saw it.

Lucy that would be incredible if I was miraculously pregnant just before I started trying Wink but I feel like AF is on her way today (about time!).

Oh Molly, I'm so, so sorry. Have a hug and don't feel bad in the slightest about drowning your sorrows tonight.

Am definitely going to watch the baby making programme. Don't really feel as though I understand the process myself, to be honest!

thanks so much for the lovely messages of support. I'm just going to plonk myself at the end of the stats, until I've worked out what this cycle's doing.

So sorry to hear your news Molly Sad hope you feel better soon (as daft as that sounds, sorry)

I'm fed up girlies. Why does it take a month each time! No matter what stage I'm at in each cycle there always seems to be at least another week to wait, either for the fertile time or for ERTD time! I don't do waiting AngryGrin And it doesn't help that my pg colleague can now feel the baby moving, makes it all the more real, I can't really pretend she's just fat anymore

Hmmmppphhh

OP posts:
Fingerscrossed1 · 06/05/2011 15:28

Massive hug for you from me Molly

The Human Body programme was amazing I made sure that OH watched it too in order to perhaps remind him of the process Smile

I thought it was game over until next time but yesterday I got a faint line (they're always faint?!) on my stick thing and last night the deed was done so I can have a glimmer of hope for the next 2 weeks.

I can now also officially tell when I'm popping an egg out, for the last 3 months I've recorded in my diary (loser) every time I get the pain, like a stichy stabbing feeling, and it does happen at the time of ovulation, something to be thankful for I guess?!

pnjeff · 06/05/2011 15:55

Hi i'm just wondering if i can join and wether i add myself?
I had a miscarriagelast month and have just got my period so hoping to get straight at it. Everyone keeps telling me i am more fertile at the minute?
Hello to everyone trying btw. My first BFP took 1 year to get so hoping it comes a little quicker xx

Pixiepops · 06/05/2011 17:33

Thanks for the lovely welcome ladies! Smile

Hope you're feeling ok, Molly. How did the interview go?

Ovulation tests arrived yesterday, so as of Sunday I'll almost certainly become increasingly obsessed start to poas. Might steer clear of temping though if Lucy's experience is anything to go by!

Hope you all have a nice, sunny weekend.

Welcome Jeff, by the way!

milocuckoomitten · 06/05/2011 18:31

Well I'm still waiting, CD 43, haven't had a cycle longer than 30 days since last August. No signs of AF, but still having cramps on and off and feeling a bit sick as well. Just don't know what's going on. Going to test again on Sunday.
