Morning everyone.

Really pleased it all worked out for you josie

I tested again this morning, one boots early response, and a first response.

I'm so confused. Boots is showing another fine line, FR showing no pink line, but almost a shadow where line would be.

Am just going to think I am not pregnant, and see what happens Sad

Fingerscrossed1 · 05/04/2011 10:37

Hang in there maybe, try again tomorrow and yo just never know! It's the not knowing part that does your head in I know.

Well, I've started this charting business and apparantly this is the 2nd of my most fertile days and am due to lay an egg on friday. However, my temps are fairly steady, usually they are about 36.16 degrees celcius and today it was 36.24...can I class this as a rise in temp?! It's clear I don't really know what I'm doing, I don't want to go into too much detail with it all but does you temp rise or dip before ovulation? Oh dear Confused

maybebabyR · 05/04/2011 11:35

Thanks fingers It's so confusing! The line today was slightly darker than yesterdays, but nothing other than a shadow on thye FR.

There are so many conflicting reviews over different tests, it's hard to know what to believe Hmm

Good luck with the temping, I have no experience of it personally Smile

Imps7 · 05/04/2011 13:31

Ooh that does sound positive Maybe - a line is a line is a line, isn't it??

Fingers crossed for you!!

CaveMum · 05/04/2011 13:36

Afternoon all. As predicted ERTD is making her presence well and truly felt: I'm in agony! It never hurt this much before Sad I'm trying to embrace it, but it's not easy.

Josie so glad you had a good weekend. Your post has a very positive air to it! Glad horsey is settled in well. It sounds like a lovely yard.

Maybe sorry things dont seem any clearer. If it is any consolation the "early" response tests ate notoriously unreliable.

Fingerscrossed the temp rise occurs after ovulation so don't stress that you haven't seen a change yet. Don your shag-cape and get to it!

maybebabyR · 05/04/2011 13:44

Thanks for the advice cavemum sorry to hear you're not feeling too clever. Hope it buggers oiff soon Smile

weimy · 05/04/2011 16:59

maybe it sometimes takes a while to show, fx :)

Josie so glad the move went well.

Sorry it is a rough one cavemum :(

Fingers your temp dips after ov then steadily rises, you don't really get any pre ov temp indicators. Get swi until you have had a temp dip followed by three rises in a row. Are you on fertilityfriend ? Here is my chart maybe that will help?

www.fertilityfriend.com/home/weimy

Imps7 · 06/04/2011 07:52

Well no SWI action for me last night - it's too late now. This is the second cycle in a row where we haven't even been in with a chance due to lack of SWI at the right time Sad. It seems like such a waste of a nice egg!

It will be a looooooooooong month+ till we can next try again. I shall be obsessing about all of your 2WW symptoms this cycle.

Cavemum - poor you! It's all for a good cause, but not sure that really helps when you're in pain does it?

Maybe - are you going to try again today?? Ooooh I hope it's another BFP for this thread.

maybebabyR · 06/04/2011 10:22

Morning everyone.

I did another boots test, a darker line than yesterday, but FR still negative. Really don't know what to think. Don't want to got o GP just yet, as don't want to be disappointed Sad

Imps7 · 06/04/2011 10:42

Oh god, how confusing maybe. Can you try a different brand so that you have 2 against 1?

maybebabyR · 06/04/2011 10:48

That was my logic. Am thinkink of a clear blue. I'm going to be a connoisseur of bloody pregnancy tests if I ever get pregnant Grin

Imps7 · 06/04/2011 11:01
Grin

Best of luck!!!

maybebabyR · 06/04/2011 11:02

Thanks imps

CaveMum · 06/04/2011 11:07

What about a digital test? I know they are more expensive but at least you?d get a YES or NO rather than a ?if you shut one eye and squint with the other it sort of looks like a line!?

Good luck Grin

maybebabyR · 06/04/2011 11:12

Haha, I knwo that feeling all too well cavemum

I do have a digital at home, but I know that they are half as sensitive as the normal clear blues. So I am 'saving' that one for when I am pretty much certain that I am even if it's only to be able to run around the house with a stick that actually has the word PREGNANT on it Grin

Fingerscrossed1 · 06/04/2011 17:16

Any news maybe?

Thanks for the advice Weimy I had a look at your chart...interesting! Am I right in thinking you laid an egg on day 11 then? This is my chart...does this make any sense? www.fertilityfriend.com/ttc/ Not sure if this link will work Confused Confused Confused

weimy · 06/04/2011 18:05

Not yet, I don't think. I usually have a bigger temp dip I expect to ov tonight or tomorrow. Only just got two positive opks.

I think you will have to name your chart like I have as your link just takes me to my chart Confused

Cloclo15 · 06/04/2011 18:24

Well I'm guessing I'm in the 2ww now (except mine isn't two weeks!) so let's see what happens this month. I think we managed three times around the fertile period - we were going to have another go yesterday but were out watching Greg Davies stand up show and couldn't be bothered when we got in - far too tired! Might have one more attempt tonight before officially giving up for this cycle...

Got my blood test booked in for Friday morning - my doc says this is just to check I have ovulated and they will let me know if there are any abnormalities. How long do blood test results usually take to come back to the docs? Anyone know?

A (not very nice!) question - I've been really bloated and had a bit of an upset stomach (nothing too serious) over the last few days and felt a bit sick last night - can this stop you conceiving? My husband laughed when I suggested it, but he is so chilled out about everything, I thought I would ask here too.

Maybe, your results sound promising, I would keep checking if you have no sign of flow yet. Good luck!

Imps - sorry to hear that, must be very frustrating. At least you know there is a reason you haven't fallen - I've got no such excuse! :(

Imps7 · 06/04/2011 19:18

Hello Cloclo :) I'm not sure if having a dicky tum can stop you conceiving - I wouldn't have thought so, but then there's so much I didn't/still don't know about this TTC business. Have a stomach upset can stop the pill from working, but presumably that's because you vom/poo it out (sorry Grin) before it's absorbed into your system, rather than for any hormonal/ovulation reasons. I'd have thought you'd be okay!

I had a bit of a wallow today re: lack of SWI but am feeling much better now. There's always next month! Bless my lovely OH - he's never had performance issues to such an extent before - he's been fine in all previous months! I think I was probably a bit too full-on with the we-must-shag-tonight rule, so I will chill out and not mention anything about it next month. Given that the fertile period is around 5 days long and we tend to be in the mood more often than that I guess we'll SWI at the right time at one point or another!

Anymore news Maybe??????

Any symptoms Late???????

LateToTheTTCParty · 06/04/2011 22:56

Hey Imps, just been doing a bit of lurking - I'm in the 2ww and trying not to notice Wink

Sorry to hear MrImps is feeling the stress - I think we sometimes underestimate how personally our OHs take all this. Maybe next month he'll feel a bit more in the 'zone'

I have NO symptoms, no nothing, zilch, not a sausage. No spotting, no metal mouth, no sore boobs... I don't feel any different to how I felt last week, or the week before. Have had LOADS of SWI, right when I needed to, and my temp has stayed up at the level it went to after I ovulated. AF is due on Sat 16 - I'm going to a wedding! I'm just trying to forget about it as there's nothing I can do about it now and I'll just bend my head inside-out if I let myself Smile

On a totally different subject, how FANTASTIC is the weather! DH wants to get the BBQ out this w/e Grin

maybebabyR · 06/04/2011 23:01

Hi everyone

don't know what is going on with my body. Have a very slight tinge of pink to CM. No cramps yet though.

Will see what happens tomorrow as to whether I test again or not.

Sorry for the me me me post Sad

Imps7 · 07/04/2011 08:02

Hi Late - how boring for you not to have any juicy symptoms! Good that the temps are staying high though - that's a good sign isn't it?? I had a massive temp jump this morning, so hopefully that means I ov'd yesterday and everything's in order!

Oh Maybe hope that you get an answer one way or the other soon - when is ERTD due??

BBQ ahoy tonight!! Have got some chicken out of the freezer in anticipation!

Imps7 · 07/04/2011 08:12

Poo, I've just realised - I had quite a bit of wine to drink last night (just to finish off my day of self pity!!) - that could be the reason for the temp rise, couldn't it?? Oh bum - I may have to give up drinking just to make sure it doesn't mess up my temp charts!

maybebabyR · 07/04/2011 10:30

Haha imps wine is good, remember?!! Smile

ERTD was due on Sunday if going by last cycle, but is only second cycle of coming off the pill Hmm

JosieSmith1 · 07/04/2011 15:57

Cavemum hope you?re feeling better

Imps hope Mr Imps is feeling better too

Late you need to be crazy symptom spotting about now, none of this ?no symptoms? business Grin

Maybe hope you get sorted soon too and discover what?s going on

I?ve been having a difficult week at work, only because we?re short staffed ? senior is still off and now pg lady is off sick so I?ve been running the office on my own and have so far worked up 10 hours overtime as I?ve been having no lunchbreaks Angry and I?m getting pretty fed up as I know I?ll get no thanks for keeping this place running single handedly. And before she went off sick, pg lady was looking extremely pg Sad. We?re onto month 10 now.

Although it means another month of being able to save up, and another month of being able to do what I want with ned ned Grin
