Hee hee let's hope so Late! Have you joined the Charters thread? I wonder if that might bamboozle me a little bit - I may use this cycle as a practice and then join on the next one.

phooey · 22/03/2011 19:41

If you're anal about it, you won't get far in this game

Grin

Sorry x

LateToTheTTCParty · 22/03/2011 19:48

phooey you crack me up Grin

Imps no I'm sticking with this thread I think, I have a chart facility on my app so I'm using that. It's going to be an interesting month!

weimy · 22/03/2011 20:14

Hey! AF still lurking (cow), wish she would hurry up. Pants day swore in class and made a small child cry Shock, not like me at all :(

cookiemoo · 22/03/2011 21:52

Hey all! Just a quick check in to let you know my consultant prescribed me clomid today, will start next month... Not sure how I feel about it at the mo. :0/

Petal26 · 22/03/2011 22:24

Hi guys!

Thanks for the FX phooey

Imps sorry to hear about ERTD, boo

Weimy I had a day of supply in Reception today (am definitely more of a Year 5/6 gal) and I had to give my breaktime crisps to a child that had lost theirs so totally agree with the pants day Wink

No change here, still cramps and white discharge (def not normal before I'm due) so don't know what's happening. POAS yesterday morning so will try again tomorrow and see if 48 hours has made any difference!

LateToTheTTCParty · 23/03/2011 07:01

Weimy, are you sure it's AF lurking and not something else.....?

cookiemoo, good news that you're all set to go with the clomid - what are you unsure about?

Imps7 · 23/03/2011 07:29

Eeee did my first temperature check this morning - 36.4! I think I'm going to enjoy this extra TTC detail to analyse.

Am guessing it's a little too early to pee on my first OPK, given that ERTD is in full flow though Hmm!

Weimy sorry ERTD is being a total cow. Hope it sorts itself out pronto.

somebeans · 23/03/2011 08:13

Hi all, sorry have been quiet but am not feeling the euphoria surrounding my three BFP - now been trawling the internet worrying about chemical pregnancies! Some people are never satisfied are they! I usually cope with stress with Wine but can't even do that! DH is just pleased that all his bits work - am trying to rationalise that if we can make one then we could make another one if this one doesn't work out............. grrrrr why can't I just be pleased and relaxed?

Sorry for ranting, especially as you are all waiting for the BFP, it's just that apart from DH no-one else knows!

phooey I feel bad that your second testing buddy has abandoned yu, especially as your comments really cheer me up.

CaveMum · 23/03/2011 08:25

somebeans don't apologise for feeling worried! From what the other Graduates have said, the knicker checking and symptom spotting gets worse after your BFP. Several of them also confess to peeing on more than a few sticks to make sure all is well!

The only advice I can give is STEP AWAY FROM THE GOOGLE BUTTON! The Internet is not your friend in these circumstances!

Perhaps you should pop over to the Grads thread and pick their brains, I'm sure they all felt the same way.

(((hugs)))

LateToTheTTCParty · 23/03/2011 08:26

Imps, I've done 4 days of taking my temp now (mine's in F, didn't check before I bought it off Amazon, debating whether to get another one in C...) and finding it ridiculously exciting! Are we sad or what Grin
I'm starting my opk sticks on Saturday as P-Tracker app says I'm fertile from Monday....
DH is unwell (properly, not Man-unwell) and I am trying to be as sympathetic as I can without asking too many times 'do you think you'll be feeling better by Monday?' Smile

somebeans you need to calm down girl! Why are you thinking this might be a chemical pg? (I think someone needs to tell me what a chemical pg actually is.... Blush)

JosieSmith1 · 23/03/2011 10:52

Hope you?re feeling better Somebeans, agree with Cavemum maybe you should talk to the grads. I can imagine, after trying for a while, that when you get a BFP all you do is worry about it (hugs)

Late a chemical pg is when you get a BFP but lose it very early on, as in so early that if you hadn?t tested you might not have known and might have just thought it was your normal ERTD. That?s my understanding anyway

Nothing to report here except had a good chat with my friend last night and although it's made me feel a little down again because I've been talking about it, I know it's part of my healing process and I'm not as down as I was the last time. She was the only person (excepting everyone on here) who didn't say 'I know how you feel cos my friend's cousin's mother etc etc went through IVF'. She said that even though plenty of people go through it and come out the other end with a baby, doesn't mean my story will be the same so it's no comfort.

I have to try and be strong tomorrow as my pg colleague is going for her 12 week scan, so that'll be a challenge but I'm doing so much better I think I can cope with it.

cherrycobbler · 23/03/2011 11:06

somebeans do pop over and chat to us on the grads thread - I was exactly the same with the lack of excitement - it was such a longed-for BFP that I thought I would be over the moon but in fact was utterly terrified for the first six weeks or so (when I started being sick every couple of minutes which didn't ease the terror but was a bit distracting). I announced it to my parents as "there's a 60% chance that you'll be grandparents next summer". They weren't quite sure what to make of it. And cavemum is very wise, please, please, please step away from Google!

lovelyjosie am so sorry that you're having such a rough time but glad that you seem to be doing much better. Big hugs from me and a couple of glasses of yummy Wine xx

JosieSmith1 · 23/03/2011 16:32

I am so embarrassed - just got up from my computer at work to get some money from petty cash, and left my computer on with google pictures of implantation bleed on it!!! And one of the male officers came down and was standing next to my desk waiting for me to come back BlushBlushBlush

weimy · 23/03/2011 17:16

oh dear Josie Grin

Petal I teach in secondary, it was just a random small child!!!!! I wouldn't have given up my crisps !!!!!!!!

late pretty sure it is AF, but am not upset anymore just formulating next months plan of attack !!!!

((hugs)) somebeans

raspberrytipple · 23/03/2011 17:52

Ohhh Josie eek! I once clicked on a link from the BBC news website on increasing sperm count... it took ages to load, I left my desk for a second and came back to find a very senior manager using my phone reading intently through the article so you are not alone. Mortified was not a strong enough description Blush

somebeans I think others are right, pop over to grads and talk to some of the ladies over there, I remember lots of them stressing madly in the early days and understand completely. I would be exactly the same! It will be fine though xx

Imps you did make me chuckle, you are right it's too early to start peeing on the OPK if ERTD is still with you. I've started using the CBFM now and chatting to a girl at work who is expecting her second, I said that before I started using it I was obsessed with doing pg tests so at least the monitor is providing me something to pee all over every day!!! I think it's an addiction you :) Sorry to hear about your little pants too, I've lost a few pairs under similar circumstances and it never gets any easier. Wink

Molley how is your first 2ww going? I was convinced I was pg the first time so was as a result completely devestated when ERTD arrived. You get used to it and your mind plays tricks however hard you try not to let it.

Phooey if it's any consolation my best laid (sorry lol) plans always go out the window....we are gonna do it every day, Im not going to drink, eat crap blah blah blah but inevitably life takes over and it all goes out the window.

Anyhow... as I say I've started using the monitor now, I'm on CD 10 according to it but it's not saying that it's detecting anything but I have had EWCM and yesterday TMI alert it was a little bit pink?!! My tummy feels very odd and I've got a really sore back. My mind is playing tricks on me though, I've only just got rid of ERTD 10 days ago so I'm deffo no updiffed already!!! I also have a stinking cold :( Ears, nose and eyes all hurt :( and overall I feel pretty damn grotty and to top it all I have to sit in on two days worth of the same VERY boring meeting tomorrow and Friday :( grrrr

cookiemoo · 23/03/2011 19:52

late re clomid, feeling ok today. Just guess I always hoped we'd conceive naturally before we needed any intervention. Trying not to read too much as lots of conflicting info out there re clomid and increased risks of cancer and the like. Can't pay too much attention to stuff like that or I'd never leave the house!!!
I'm gonna keep lurking as I'm sure there is gonna be more good news on the thread!! :) xx

LateToTheTTCParty · 23/03/2011 20:55

cookiemoo I have several friends who have successfully conceived with Clomid, and one who conceived naturally after finishing 6 cycles of it. I really hope it works for you, and that you don't end up with triplets! Wink

MollyDefoe · 23/03/2011 22:17

Hi Raspberry - ah, thank you for asking! 2ww is ok- trying to keep myself distracted by working extra specially hard. And yes, like you say, am of course convinced that I'm preggers! Have fabricated felt all sorts of symptoms from sore boobs to, tonight, heartburn. Hmmm...
I've managed to persuade DP to run around making me tea etc on the basis that "I might be pregnant". Not sure how many cycles he'll put up with this for!

cookiemoo · 23/03/2011 23:51

Thx late it's lovely to hear positive reports and it's cheered me up! I wouldn't mind twins but triplets would be pushing it!!! :0D xxx

Best of luck to all those with encouraging symptoms!! ;0) xx

JosieSmith1 · 24/03/2011 08:21

Grin Molly at having your DH do your tea. I say try and get away with it for as many cycles as you can Grin although it might be true soon enough

DH has been sleeping on the floor as he has a bad back and last night when I went to bed it was the first time in about 2 months that I got straight to sleep and into a really deep sleep, then DH decided he was sleeping upstairs so he woke me up Angry and then I was awake again at 5am (no idea why) so I'm absolutely knackered today, not good for facing colleague's 12 week scan but it's this afternoon so I've got until tomorrow. And I don't feel well. [grumpy face]Grin

OP posts:
St4rfish · 24/03/2011 09:03

Molly any sign of AF yet? You're on same CD day as me...I have been an idiot and POAS this morning (was of course BFN) but am still holding out hope that AF won't arrive tomorrow! Fingers crossed for both of us! However, I did have road rage on the way to work this morning so must be pre-menstrual - illegal overtaking manoevre and ran a red light! Angry

Josie - there's no chocolate symbol unfortunately, but have a Biscuit from me Smile

MollyDefoe · 24/03/2011 09:23

Morning St4rfish! AF isn't due until Monday, but did POAS (FR) this morning and BFN - so I'm not really holding out much hope for this month :( am a bit stressed this morning - I'm on a 3-year contract at work, which basically means that to qualify for mat leave, I need to have a due date before July 2012. I know it's not good for TTC to put myself under pressure, and I also know that there's still a good number of cycles left, but it's hard not to stress...
