This is the place to be for all those wanting to TTC after miscarriage, or have plans on TTC in the relatively near future. This thread is full of support from people who have been there and no how you are feeling so jump on board and share the Wine and chocolate (or water and celery for those of you off alcohol and caffeine Wink)

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Ask any questions that have been niggling you or that you are concerned about, perhaps someone here has experienced the same in the past.

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length

Good luck to all - here's hoping for lots of healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread

This is the old thread ref:

Stats to follow.

Collie2 · 03/03/2011 21:41

Opps missed this last page. oils poor you with dreaded cramps. Let's hope it's everything being moved around for a very determined little bean x

shorty100 · 03/03/2011 21:46

Hi everyone blackkat has just directed me here from another thread, I had a miscarriage jan and am hoping to conceive straight away. Day 43 and still no period, its driving me a bit mad though. X

Blackkat · 03/03/2011 21:56

Glad you found us Shorty, welcome, have yourself a Thursday Wine it's allowed, nearly the wknd Smile x

There are a few ladies on here who are waiting for AF after m/c, mine has only just started.

We're all hoping to get BFP again as soon as we can and some who have BFP on their first cycle post M/C.

shorty100 · 03/03/2011 22:04

Thanks blackkat, I hate all this waiting. Don't think it helps having 6 pregnant friends in the office. Nice to speak to people that know what I am going through. Even close friends don't understand, one said today, surely its no different to just getting your period a bit late o_O

brooke89 · 03/03/2011 22:04

hi girlies, hope you dont mind me joining :)

ive had a miscarriage on monday :( but am looking to get a BFP as soon as things are back to normal! So thought id join you :)

x

Blackkat · 03/03/2011 22:07

Shorty, Angry about your friends comment, bloody hell!

brooke welcome, so sorry to hear about your loss Sad. You will find some good support here. What advice were you given about TTC again?

brooke89 · 03/03/2011 22:09

None as of yet! Going back tomorrow for more test, my levels hadnt gone down enough for them to rule out an eptopic so fingers crossed tomorrow, then the plan is to just get back on it and start trying again! x

Blackkat · 03/03/2011 22:13

Brooke good luck tomorrow, hope you get the all clear.

mousebacon · 03/03/2011 22:19

Hi ladies, thanks so much for asking after me. I had my scan today and unfortunately they found loads of stuff in there. So much so the lovely nurse said she thought it was probably molar.

She took some blood and I was seen by the registrar who booked me in for another erpc tomorrow. The bloods came back this afternoon and it's still round about the 280 mark so not molar - thank god.

Just feel really sad and disheartened today as I thought I'd be gearing up for trying again by now but I'm going right back to square one. The registrar is requesting that the consultant performs the op this time so fingers crossed for me please.

xxx

Blackkat · 03/03/2011 22:24

Mouse (((((big hugs)))) what a rotten time and tough week you are having. So relieved to hear from you though. So sorry to learn that you need ERPC tomorrow, Sad but relieved to hear that it's not molar, I could tell you were worrying about that.

Everything crossed for you tomorrow and then for a quiet and restful weekend, with lots of spoiling from DH. Thinking of you lots, take care xx

shorty100 · 03/03/2011 22:25

Fingers crossed for you. The hospital wouldn't give me a scan, just blood tests which returned to negative within 4 days. Sometimes feel like it was all in my head. X

mousebacon · 03/03/2011 22:45

Thanks love, feel like I've been hit by a truck! Hope you and dh are ok.

Right, bed beckons. I'll try to update tomorrow tea time xxx

Ninunina · 03/03/2011 22:50

Welcome to the tread shorty. I know how you feel about wondering if its all in your head. I felt a bit like that, but 10 3 pregnancy tests can't be wrong.

melliesmum my gyni isn't in the uk, and I go to him privately, so i guess that's why I got his email. Can't see any doctors here doing that.

olismum23 · 03/03/2011 23:59

OMG Shorty your frinds comment!! Angry

Welcome brooke and shorty this thread has been so amazing and supportive hope it helps you too.

mouse Im so sorry you have to go for another ERPC ((hugs))

Ninu, Blackkat how are you?

Anyhow cut a long story short DH says my cervix is so high he cant touch it, I have hear this is a sign of pregnancy is this the case??? also mucus very creamy any info welcome as no BFP on test yet poss to early.

wellieboots · 04/03/2011 06:44

Jeepers you ladies like to chat!

I know it's not properly Friday where you are yet, so I won't do Friday's list just now, but can whoever does it put me back to cycle 2, CD1 Sad.

Cycle was a bit longer than usual - probably due to all the stress in the last month, so I had a teeensy bit of hope that maybe the one time this month we had DTD might have led to something - somebody slap me with a large fish!

mouse - so so sorry for you having to have ERPC again, big (((hugs)))

hello to newbies - you will find lots of support here, sorry for your losses, shorty I can't believe your friends comment Shock

Have also managed to pick up a nasty gastro virus so am resting on the sofa receiving tlc and playing with the netbook!

Angry at a friend's fb comment in response to my status of "sick of feeling sick :(" he replies pregnant?....:) - I bloody wish!! He dosen't know about mc,but someone else who does made a similar comment and should know better - if that was why I was feeling sick I wounldn't be broadcasting it on fb!

rant over - waves to chloe, cep, mellies, ninu and anyone else who's around x

cep · 04/03/2011 07:28

morning all, i missed a lot last night typical, the one night dh and i spend time together and he's not in the garage and i miss all you lovely lot.

welcome shorty and brooke so sorry for your losses. i've attached two things which you may find helpful.
unfortunately shorty those that have never been in this position don't understand and can be very insensitive.
www.pregnancyloss.info/trying_again.htm
www.pregnancyloss.info/waitingforaf.htm

collie yay for the +ve opk and chloe beat me to it, i was going to ask about the swi while dh at work. Grin

mouse so sorry about having to have the erpc again, but yay for not molar. good luck for today, hope all goes well.

olis i'm afraid i don't know about the positions very well cause i always pushed it down a bit. I was getting creamy cm a few days after ov though, and some days looked almost lumpy. sorry i can't get over the fact your dh helps, mine thought it was gross that i did it. Grin

wellie sorry af here hon, and that your ill. make sure you get lots of tlc this weekend and get better soon. Sorry your friend put something distressing. i have to admit i don't tend to put anything on fb anymore.

ok well i'm having a mini panic this morning, wiped and had a little bit of red blood. only strandy bits and not loads, but i was starting to get used to not having any. i want the remote out of click so i can fastforward to about 20 weeks and can feel it move.

Blackkat · 04/03/2011 07:40

Quick pre work post to wish mouse and brooke the best for their respective appointments today. ((hugs))

wellie sorry AF got you, hope you feel better soon.

Blackkat · 04/03/2011 07:41

Cep sorry just seen the end of your post, implantation wiggling? Really hope there's no more x

Chloe55 · 04/03/2011 07:46

Cep Easier said than done but try not to worry. I bled for a good few weeks with ds and he turned out alright (I think Wink) Especially if it is only on wiping, more likely that it is just from everything having a little rummage about in there.

Welcome Shorty & Brook Sorry you both find yourselves here but everyone is very supportive and in similar boats so if you need to rant/ask questions/worry then feel free to do it all here.

Wellie Sometimes FB has a habit of putting a real downer on things. I hadn't mentioned I was pg or even had a MC on there but after a couple of days of me finding out and braving FB again I had get well comments plastered all over it so everyone could read what I was going through Hmm

Collie Ah the good old milkman, don't blame you really - surely the more the merrier in the race to get to the end result Wink

Mouse I will be thinking of you today, hope it goes as well as it can do.

Hello to everyone else! Mum's here now, gotta go.

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 04/03/2011 08:22

Morning! It seems as tho I've got some catching up to do...I was (cough) ummm...busy...last night too Wink!

Yey collie, glad you had a productive evening!

olis I hope af isn't about to get you, fx!

shorty welcome, sorry you have to be here tho. Can't believe your friend's comment!

Brooke glad you found your way here, good luck today x

mouse :( sorry about your results but glad they have ruled out a molar pg. Best wishes for today, thinking of you xxxx

Get well soon wellie. I hate that if a lady of our age says she feels dick it HAS to be that she's pg. As if there's no other reason to bd sick!

cep maybe it's just a bit of irritation from the cream and applicator? Here's tmi so look away now if squeamish - I get pink mucous after I use a canestan pessary. You are 5 weeks now aren't you? So if you are still worried can you get your gp to book you in for a scan at the end of next week when they'd be able to see something? To put your mind at ease?

Anyway, best get on the shower before peppa pig finishes!

meliesmummy · 04/03/2011 08:23

IN the shower obviously!

Chloe55 · 04/03/2011 08:28

Grin meliesmum sometimes when a woman feels dick she does fall pg! Grin
