This is the place to be for all those wanting to TTC after miscarriage, or have plans on TTC in the relatively near future. This thread is full of support from people who have been there and no how you are feeling so jump on board and share the Wine and chocolate (or water and celery for those of you off alcohol and caffeine Wink)

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Ask any questions that have been niggling you or that you are concerned about, perhaps someone here has experienced the same in the past.

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length

Good luck to all - here's hoping for lots of healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread

This is the old thread ref:

Stats to follow.

I'm not really sure why they did it, the kids going for the afternoon session don't even get lunch anymore. chloe I wouldn't have been late for a childminder, it was literally bcos I didn't see the point of sitting there watching her eat lunch. Sorry if I've offended you Blush

Blackkat · 03/03/2011 12:47

mel you didn't sound bad don't worry Grin

cep so pleased fanjo cream is done with

chloe sorry had a busy morning at work - glad you enjoyed Xfactor

Mouse hoping all goes well.

Chloe55 · 03/03/2011 12:50

No no you didn't offend me meliesmum not at all! I had also been late for nursery on a couple of occassions hence me knowing they are strict with the £10 policy!! I don't blame you for not wanting to sit and watch them eat, if they want the kids picked up by 1pm then they should be ready by 1pm. I just went off on my own little rant Blush Anyway, I hope you don't reply in the next ten minutes as that would make you late Wink

afternoon all,

i'm here for roll call. Grin

mel according to online i should do but i bet they won't Hmm i'm just as bad nursery ends at 13:00 and i'm lucky if i'm there on time. i got told off either 09 or 10 and have tried my best to get there on time. i got told it's cause shift ends at one as well (what's the point in staff going home at the exact time of end of morning session, surely it would be best to be 10 past or 15 past but anyway.

chloe glad xfactor concert was good. have to admit i never watched the programme. so the names don't mean anything.

i think my neighbour has had a little boy, i got home to a single blue balloon on the front of their house. Grin

right i'm off to my greek dentist so ya ssass or herete until i'm back.

lily06 · 03/03/2011 14:22

Afternoon ladies,

Mouse Hope you got through yesterday ok. How are you doing? Is work any better since half term?

Cep Bit late to the discussion I know, but I really like having cycle day on the list, its nice to see it moving up every day. Pleased your treatment is at an end, how are you feeling generally? Have fun at the dentist! Smile

Mel Did you have a good afternoon with your friend? Hope it went well.

Nina Hello to a fellow Lily Grin I also have PCO but not PCOS.

lily06 · 03/03/2011 14:25

Chloe forgot to say I know how you feel about people picking up late from your home. I'm not a childminder, but I do teach from home some evenings, and often find that people just want to stay and chat or arrive late and leave late etc, not realising (or caring I guess) that I have other things to do and tea to make and eat etc. Rant over!! BlushGrin

cep · 03/03/2011 17:26

lily hi hon, i'm not to bad thankyou still getting pains in my tum, but weirdly only in morning at work or in bed at night.

collie how's cm been during the day?

banana87 · 03/03/2011 17:37

Hi Ladies,

You all like to chat don't you! I can't possibly keep up but I do try!

Chloe Glad you enjoyed Xfactor. We are going on the 19th...can't wait (esp to see Matt :) )

cep Glad you are getting on ok!

Mouse Hope yesterday was ok for you.

CD16 here and I have what looks like creamy CM in my underwear but EWCM on wiping (not all the time). WTF? Anyone know?

cep · 03/03/2011 17:40

banana cm can change throughout the day, it's the most fertile stuff that you need to keep note of as it were.

banana87 · 03/03/2011 17:54

Does 7 days of EWCM make sense cep? Is it on its way out which is why I am having some creamy CM? Gah, I am SO getting ov tests next month if I am not pg.

cep · 03/03/2011 17:59

yep i think i had about 6-7 days in my last cycle.

Chloe55 · 03/03/2011 18:02

Banana you will love it - Matt was brilliant too, he had some very tight trousers on BlushGrin

I have been quite productive with housework and ironing today but have noticed that when I have had a mad spurt and overexurted myself I have been getting some pains down below and a bit of lower backache Confused I think I will take things a bit steadier tomorrow.

It was nice to see her thanks lily, she was looking so well and so happy, plus she really understands how I'm feeling too atm, and she knew just the right things to say, plus the baby is lovely! Felt really broody tho when my dd had a cuddle with her! (big sigh)

I got to nursery on time thanks Chloe but I've left dds coat there so not a complete success!

How was the dentist cep? was it free?

meliesmummy · 03/03/2011 18:04

Any news mouse?

cep · 03/03/2011 18:41

mel glad the visit went well. you'll get there hon. Smile It was ok thankyou. i told them on monday that i was pg, had to go back today to fill a tiny little hole. and yes it was free. I asked her today what would happen if i lost it again, i said obviously future treatment i'd have to pay for but for the stuff i've had done, and she says she only knows of it happening once before and they didn't charge due to compassionate reasons. I know i need to think positive but i had to ask.

I asked ds if we should have a baby yesterday and he said yes, he wanted a little girl, don't want a boy mummy. I haven't told him that i'm pg for obvious reasons of age and possible mc. but want him to get used to the idea of a baby.

mouse how are you?

Collie2 · 03/03/2011 18:47

chloe glad you enjoyed x-factor. I'm not usually an x-factor fan but I did enjoy the last series. I got my mum tickets last year and she loved it. Where did you watch it?

cep hope the dentist was ok and not at all painful... Both literally and on the pocket Smile I went last week for a filling Sad hope the tummy pains aren't too bad..... Just things moving around for the little bean I expect! Smile

banana ewcm is good although I'm not sure how long it should last, I'm having a nightmare understanding mine!!! Opks are currently my nemisis too!

mels glad your visit with your friend was nice. I had a freind who gave birth last month but she had a mc just b4 getting pg again so she understood and it made seeing her so much easier.

cep I don't know about my cm. I had ewcm this morning, but then when I looked again this afternoon it was more like creamy/watery. Will log ewcm on ff though like you said. Peed on 3 opks so far today Blush 1st with fmu and got faint line, then again at mid day and got stronger faint line but still not as strong as test line, then again at 4 and got fainter line, but it had only just been 2 hours since I had a drink. Will do it once more when home as not had a drink since lunchtime.

Sorry if I've missed anyone, I'm sat in hairdressers on phone so hard to catch up properly.

cep · 03/03/2011 19:03

collie not on the pocket, they take my word for being pg so is free already. i only told them, incase they gave me something while pg. had an injection which i hate but wasn't too bad. ds kept climbing up onto the table and clambering along me lay on my tum watching kicking his feet.

even a faint line is than i ever got from one. just dtd as often as poss when you think you're fertile.

Blackkat · 03/03/2011 19:06

Quick post as I'm cooking tonight Sad for DH!

melies well done you for braving that, I'm putting off seeing my BF who had her baby the day I had my ERPC, I feel so guilty Sad

collie hope you get a good line this evening! FX

mouse ((hugs)) hope all ok xx

meliesmummy · 03/03/2011 19:33

collie I found with opks that I'd get a line that got darker over a few days, I did them at around 11ish, only once a day.

cep my dds the same 'I want a sister, not a brother!'. Ive tried explaining that we don't get to choose when we get it, if we get one and what it is but that just leads to more questions along the lines of 'well, who DOES choose then?' so we've given up on that one! It's quite embarrassing as well when she lifts up my top to 'check if there's a baby in there!' glad you survived the dentist.

blackkat enjoy your meal x

cep · 03/03/2011 19:40

mel i don't think he understands the whole brother sister thing, just says he wants a girl. i've tried to say we'll have to see what happens, but he's just to young to understand.

cep · 03/03/2011 19:42

ok am going to be off for tonight dh and i actually spending some time together watching stuff we've recorded. so will speak to you all tomorrow. have fab evenings, and sleep tight. Grin

Collie2 · 03/03/2011 20:17

Ok ladies i've peed on my 4th stick of the day and i have 3 STRONG lines AND EWCM!!!! YIPPEEE!!!!
