The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (But it does work).

Covet thy husband and enjoy every minute. Shag at every opportunity - shag-capes and awesome superpowers optional.

Keep acronym-age to a minimum! EWCM is now to be referred to as 'pant snot'. Try not to get sucked in by Fertility Friend (at least for a while), but knowing where you are in your cycle and furkling for pant snot is most definitely allowed.
OV is ovulation - I'm allowed to forget what date I've OVd, feel free to join me on that one!

Bunting is to be put out for any small victory, thread-parties are held regularly and hugs are always welcome! Grin

Once you have your BFP, feel free to hang around and share your wisdom and virtual cocktails with the JSers.

Keep us up to date with gossip!

Most of these rules are well and truly broken!! But we try to chill - honest

Congratulations Miffles's Sister Grin

i bet she'll need a while to recover from that! no wonder it took so long to arrive!

We had our 3rd shag last night - DH said he was all spunked out... Hmm
that was beforehand too!
(3rd in 6 days, not 3rd in one night! Shock )

poor boy's not used to so much action, his body can't handle it.

would have waited till tonight, only I've got dance and have no energy after that, plus it's his day off today, so he didn't need to get up.
I think i preferred it when we weren't doing this with a purpose!

Good evening ladies!!

Glad to see some good old fashioned JSing going on Grin Same thing here - OH is a right horn dog at the moment! It's the best it's ever been, am loving it, although we were up until 3am this morning as we were too tired earlier in the evening, and when we got to bed, it was all systems go, lol!

I am shattered today though ... 3 hours sleep, up at 6am to start work at 8am and on my feet all day until 6pm. I shall be requesting one of OH's fantastic foot massages, and then he wants more shagging Blush

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Miffles · 10/02/2011 21:38

Hey viroids,

I think I'm going to have to take a leave of absence. DH and I talked this morning....it was meant to be an early wake up for the shag that didn't happen last night. But he told me why he was upset. He had heard me telling a couple of friends about how things were going and was worried so many knew people knew. They weren't even esp close friends either, so he certainly had a point!

And it's my own fault. I have told folks to have support over the last year but now get fed up with everyone asking and knowing. Everyone seems to know our business and it is not helping my sanity to have it at the forefront of my mind the whole time.

So we have decided to take a break from focusing on it. Maybe even a month off clomid to give my body and hormones a rest. And that also means time away from you lovely people. i plan to politely ask all my well meaning friends and family not to ask any more too.

And i hope DH and i will get closer and stronger as a result. i have warned him he will need to be an even bigger support now. I will focus on enjoying each other and our life now. Starting with my surprise anniversary w/e at the end of the month.

Sorry for the long winded explanation. And this was all typed one handed as i have a sleeping niece on me!!! (the 3mo not the 2 day old one!!)

Hugs to all. Will be thinking of you and hope to see a long graduate list soon.

xxx

Hi everyone. Thanks for worrying about me Wink I have been trying not to get too caught up this month, but think it's worked too well as we haven't JS'd at all yet. :(

I then had a major trauma yesterday as my horse suffered a serious injury :( She will hopefully be ok but needs lots of care in the meantime as she is in serious pain. And she's on a very long road to recovery.

I was going to say, it's lovely to see Miffs back, but now we are saying goodbye again :(. Totally understand Miffles, but don't be a stranger. Keep well and come and say hello once in a while!

Thanks to nomore and Milano for popping in to check on us :). Hope all is well over your side, I will try to have a catch-up soon.

Too many :( on this post so I'll add a Grin to balance it out! Still feeling a bit upset about my horse, so don't want to bring you all down.

Morning again. My goodness it has gone quiet in here lately! I hope you didn't all take me too seriously when I said you had to slow down the posting rate Wink. I haven't read the thread in full detail as my mind has been elsewhere, but I hope everyone is doing ok. There seemed to be a lot of JSing going on though, which is kinda the point Grin.

I am feeling a little bit more upbeat today. Horse is still in pain but seems well in herself and is currently in a bad mood as she'd like to go in her field, thanks very much. The fact she can't walk a step is rather passing her by! So she is at least in a bad mood, which is actually a good sign!! Far better that than depressed and disinterested.

Plus - got me some action last night, woo hoo Grin. Right in the window, and it's valentines weekend, due to OV Sun/Mon-ish so I have told OH that I expect lots of sex to cheer me up this weekend. :) I've not told him much about "timings" so he just thinks I'm in the mood for some romance. Bless him...

I'm working from home today so I can keep an eye on my horse, so will try not to spend all day on here Hmm.

aww, Miffles sorry :(

don't be a stranger though, keep in touch with us - it can be non-JS related!

Thank god you're okay Nelly sorry to hear about your horse.
but well done on your "JSing in the window" Grin

NervousNelly · 11/02/2011 13:13

LOL Nickel. It's so cold in our house, we were shagging under 2 duvets with hot water bottles at our feet, and I seriously asked whether it was THAT important I took my top off :(

Grin

i don't do hair-removal.
Grin

as i discovered last night at belldancing - I don't care about my legs or other bits, but I do my armpits - first time this winter i've worn a vest-top and i had very hairy armpits.

BamBam21 · 11/02/2011 14:11

Oh Miffles it's sad to see you go. Good idea to take some time out to regroup though. Hope you come back soon. Smile

I hope your poor horse is on the mend nelly.

I got some fantastic JSing in last night Blush and am hoping formore of the same tonight! BlushBlush Thought it would bring on ERTD though and it didn't. I won't get too excited though as it's due tomorrow and my boobs are killing me.

Grin Hope everybody has lovely weekend plans. Wine

NervousNelly · 11/02/2011 16:14

Hi everyone :) A lot has happened around this thread since I last visited! I decided to take a cheeky POAS yesterday, despite it being a little bit too early, because I have been full of SO many syptoms that are identical to the pregnancy I had with DD. Negative though :( Will try again in a few days if ERTD doesn't come.

Annoyingly, I just really couldn't find the energy to shag at the right time this month (managed about 3 or 4 times), but now I'm nearing my ERTD I can't get enough of it. I wonder whether the pressure of TTC puts me off or something. I'm starting to get used to not using condoms though. I don't feel like I'm going to be sick immediately afterwards... I'm not usually squeamish, it's just, y'know..

I'm sorry to hear miffles is leaving, but I'm happy to hear about her sister and her new neice. Also happy to hear katee is definitely pregnant! And there's lots of other ladies who are getting symptoms...

I went missing from mumsnet for a few days because I stupidly got addicted decided to make a deposit on an online casino Blush which was really stupid as I'm so easily sucked into these things and have one of those personalities where I fuck up go a teeny tiny bit too far with things which could really screw me over. But I'm back now, and really need to fight the temptation to go and put more money into the account!

nickelbabe · 12/02/2011 10:21

oh dear, those online gambling sites really do suck you in, don't they :(

you never knwo, your pre-ERTD fumblings might produce an heir - all these super-fertile teenagers who get pregnant through stray sperm while they're ERTDing.
Wink

crowette · 12/02/2011 12:28

Hallo Viroids :) it's been a bit quiet on here! Sorry to see Miffles going, but can understand why.

Only news here is I have no idea what's going on Grin I did think I OVd earlier in the week, but that'd have been too early for me Hmm Had OV twinges again last night and that fits in more with my dates. Either way, I'm off the evening primrose oil and onto pineapple juice to help implantation (if we managed to get anything to implant!)

I'm not getting my hopes up this month, lets put it that way! My mum also kindly told me that she went through the menopause at my age, so now I'm worrying that I may be perimenopausal ... I worry too much!

nickelbabe · 12/02/2011 12:32

oh, blimey, crow - i hope you're not! :(

I've told DH we're having sex tonight, so looking forward to that! Grin

crowette · 12/02/2011 12:45

It could fit in as I looked up the symptoms and some fit, but it may just may be me being a worry head Grin

I know I got pregnant last Sept. The year before my AF was 3 weeks late one cycle, and last one was nearly a week late, and at times a couple of days early Confused Been getting more breast tenderness, stress incontinence Blush aching joints, tiredness, mood swings and a few other things.

I'll give it a couple of cycles, maybe wait til after my birthday in April and go to docs and see about getting my hormone levels checked or whatever it is they do, lol!

I'm thinking positive at the moment though, and that it's all in my head and I just need to get back to the gym and most of those symptoms will disappear!! Think nice baby thought and the Law Of Attraction will do it's magic - right? Hmm Grin

nickelbabe · 12/02/2011 13:21

yes.
go over to the "how did you tell your parents?" thread and use its magic to knock you up! Grin

crowette · 12/02/2011 13:50

Haha Just read that thread - left me feeling a bit sad, as my family were not that excited about me getting pregnant when I had my girls Sad even now they make barely any effort and my parents have never had the girls over to stay. But I suppose that's just the way my family is.

I can imagine they'd be even less enthused if I managed to get pregnant again, just be annoyed as they think mine and 2 sisters' baby making days are over Grin Goes without saying they know nothing of our plans.

nickelbabe · 12/02/2011 14:05

:(

crowette · 12/02/2011 14:25

noooooo sadness, we have happiness!

I'm happy today as I've the place to myself, I'm still in my PJs, I have Galaxy, custard donuts and milk choc hobnobs Grin I also have the chance to watch the films that OH watched 5 mins of and decided they were 'crap' and turned off.

Hi all. Hope you are all too busy having fun for silly t'internet?!

I had a very busy day yesterday trying to sort a buddy out for my injured horse, but all done now I hope. Fingers crossed we are now settled into our rehab routine so life can get back to normality and I can get back to MN Wink

Managed another Js last night, cd 10 or 11 I think so that's good. Especially proud as OH was tired and went to bed with a lemsip. Luckily I had sexy undies on under the 20 layers of thermals, and cunningly got undressed then wondered around in said underwear "looking for my pyjamas". Worked like a charm Grin. don't think he noticed the goosebumps either!!

Better get back to Sunday laziness. Come back viroids!!

Mwahs all round
