The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (But it does work).

Covet thy husband and enjoy every minute. Shag at every opportunity - shag-capes and awesome superpowers optional.

Keep acronym-age to a minimum! EWCM is now to be referred to as 'pant snot'. Try not to get sucked in by Fertility Friend (at least for a while), but knowing where you are in your cycle and furkling for pant snot is most definitely allowed.
OV is ovulation - I'm allowed to forget what date I've OVd, feel free to join me on that one!

Bunting is to be put out for any small victory, thread-parties are held regularly and hugs are always welcome! Grin

Once you have your BFP, feel free to hang around and share your wisdom and virtual cocktails with the JSers.

Keep us up to date with gossip!

Most of these rules are well and truly broken!! But we try to chill - honest

I think it definitely helps to keep your mind on other things as much as possible Josie. I'm not working at the moment, and sometimes I drive myself demented brooding on TTC. Whether you get the job or not, moving to a new yard will be a positive fresh start for you and something to keep you occupied.Smile

I feel a bit odd. I just finished mopping the floors [domestic goddess emoticon]Grin and now I feel a weird trembly feeling in my lower back and round my tummy. Strange.Confused I will have my soup and see if it goes away.

babylann · 30/03/2011 15:27

Did it go away?

BamBam21 · 30/03/2011 16:30

Grin Yes it went away thanks! Very odd feeling. Can you guess what I'm bizarrely hoping it might be a symptom of?!BlushGrin

Becs19 · 30/03/2011 17:02

Thank you everyone! My class had an all singing all dancing smart board lesson today and from now on I will be the most professional teacher they have ever known!

Babylon you should def go for it with your degree! Its all about students being the client now so the uni should make it work and shouldn't discriminate against someone who wants a child!

Josie sounds like you have got the right idea with concentrating on the things you can control.

Happy SWI everyone -I'm waiting for the AF to finish before we can get going!

MollyDefoe · 30/03/2011 22:21

Really hope the phone call to the uni gives you the info you want babylann - let us know how you get on! (I work at one of the colleges of the University of London, so if on the offchance that's where you're applying, let me know and I'll find out the details about our policy for you).

Really good luck with the job application Josie!

BamBam21 · 31/03/2011 09:16

Morning everybody! Gosh it's quiet here at the moment, isn't it?

KateeHasABunInHerOven · 31/03/2011 09:34

Hello! I'm still here, just have been lurking a bit Grin

How are you feeling today Bam? Any more 'symptoms'?

Good luck with phoning the uni babylann, I'm sure you'll fit it all in somehow!

xx

BamBam21 · 31/03/2011 09:59

Hi Katee. I'm fine thanks. My only "symptoms" so far are that my boobs seem bigger, but not that sore, I have a bit of heartburn, which I rarely get, and I have terrible wind!Blush I wouldn't mind having bigger boobs, except I'm already quite a busty wench and it's just annoying!Grin ERTD isn't due for another week or so, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up, as last month DP and I were convinced we had cracked it, and then we were so disappointed.

How are you getting on with the morning sickness etc? When I had DS, I had such an easy time, with no sickness or any of the horrible bits. I worry that if I get pg again, I won't be so lucky!Confused

KateeHasABunInHerOven · 31/03/2011 10:09

Will keep fingers crossed for you then Bam! Sickness has eased now, and I think the tiredness is going a bit too, I feel a wee bit more awake these days, which is a nice change. DP is hoping I will turn into a whirlwind in the next few weeks and sort the house out which is a dump rather untidy at the moment! 11+3 today, the weeks seem to be ticking along nicely.. and only 11 days till my scan Smile

BamBam21 · 31/03/2011 10:48

Wow katee I can't believe you are 11+3 already!Shock The time just flies in. You must be so excited about your scan. I still have DS's scan picture. It just looks like a blob to most people, but it's so precious to me.

I have been tidying a lot recently, and DP says he hopes maybe I'm nesting!GrinHmm

babylann · 31/03/2011 10:58

Hmm... Confusing one, this.

I took a pregnancy test and I think I got a BFP? The weird thing is the line is definitely there, but it's not completely straight - it kind of veers off at an angle! Hmm Never seen that before...

It wasn't there before I took the test, it appeared after about 4 minutes, and it's one of those pound shop ones. Why can it never just be simple? Grin

nickelbabyhatcher · 31/03/2011 11:05

weird.

When's ERTD due?
Did you do it with FMU?

babylann · 31/03/2011 11:11

ERTD was due 41 days ago Grin

Yep, FMU PIAR. Confused! (but also secretly and probably stupidly a bit excited?)

BamBam21 · 31/03/2011 11:15

Ooooh babylann! Maybe the chemical on the strip just wasn't applied straight, esp if it's a pound shop cheapie. I am really excited for you.Smile Will you maybe get another test and try again for peace of mind?

nickelbabyhatcher · 31/03/2011 11:27

ah, yes, sorry, you're the one with the funny periods. (i get confused Confused )
get a new stick.

babylann · 31/03/2011 11:28

I have 3 tests sitting around in the bathroom, waiting to be dipped in a ramekin. Should I do it now or use FMU again tomorrow?

nickelbabyhatcher · 31/03/2011 11:30

NOW

make sure you've waited a while since you had a drink

BamBam21 · 31/03/2011 11:32

Do it now! If you have three you can always do another in the morning as well!!Grin

babylann · 31/03/2011 11:36

Okay I just finished a raspberry tea. I'm scared! Shock I will test next time I need a wee...

babylann · 31/03/2011 12:20

It happened again! They look exactly the same!

Maybe it's just a dodgy pack? Grin

I don't think there's ever been a person who has such confusion over tests as me.

BamBam21 · 31/03/2011 12:23

I think it sounds like a dodgy pack babylann, but at the same time I don't think the strip would show up at all if you weren't pg. Is there any chance of getting a "good" test from somewhere? You must be climbing the walls!Smile

babylann · 31/03/2011 13:25

I have to wait before I can get another test, can't get out as dd has a nap in about an hour and when she wakes up we have to go view a house... I'm definitely climbing the walls!

BamBam21 · 31/03/2011 13:27

Surely you could factor a chemist into your route to the house-viewing babylann?Wink

KateeHasABunInHerOven · 31/03/2011 13:51

A line is a line babylann... Grin

babylann · 31/03/2011 13:57

Well we'll be in a rush and my dad's taking us (he gets a bit awkward about this kind of thing too), but I can get DP to pick me one up on his way home from work. :)

I hope you're right, Katee!
