The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (But it does work).

Covet thy husband and enjoy every minute. Shag at every opportunity - shag-capes and awesome superpowers optional.

Keep acronym-age to a minimum! EWCM is now to be referred to as 'pant snot'. Try not to get sucked in by Fertility Friend (at least for a while), but knowing where you are in your cycle and furkling for pant snot is most definitely allowed.
OV is ovulation - I'm allowed to forget what date I've OVd, feel free to join me on that one!

Bunting is to be put out for any small victory, thread-parties are held regularly and hugs are always welcome! Grin

Once you have your BFP, feel free to hang around and share your wisdom and virtual cocktails with the JSers.

Keep us up to date with gossip!

Most of these rules are well and truly broken!! But we try to chill - honest

I want to sleeeeeeeeeeep.... bloody deadlines! Three stressful days at work is not what I need after my little scare last week, grrr. And nobody knows, so no sympathy here!

Whine over Grin babylann hope you feel better soon, you too josie xx

nickelbabyhatcher · 23/03/2011 11:28

I want to sleep too!

nausea seems to be threatening.... Hmm

nickelbabyhatcher · 23/03/2011 11:56

getting annoyed with this stuff.

I've not quite got nausea - it's kind of a niggling "you're going to feel queasy in a minute" feeling.
my back hurts because suddenly this week my bras are no longer supportive of these mammoth boobs (they don't look any bigger, just feel like overnight someone swapped them for lead weights)

and I just said here and cried for no reason at all.
Hmm

nickelbabyhatcher · 23/03/2011 12:14

and just got an email update from my chicken egg box supplier with this:

"Countdown To New Life
As Mother Nature begins to extend her subtle, long-awaited influence throughout our gardens, fields and hedgerows, now is the time of year when a keeper?s fancy can turn towards bringing a little more beauty into the world.
"
and that made me cry too!

I know i'm a bit of a crybaby, but not this much! Shock

kateepie2 · 23/03/2011 12:20

ah welcome to the wonderful world of pregnancy Wink

I suspected that that month was 'the' month as never have I had such severe and weird mood swings, eeek.

Nausea will soon rule your life, and you will happily sleep all evening... and all day... and all night, tee hee!

nickelbabyhatcher · 23/03/2011 12:26

is this helping to put these other Viroids off?
Wink

and because the sun is out, I can smell petrol in the shop (i swear, when the sun shines through the window, the heat smells like petrol!)

but i don't hink i want to open the door.
maybe i should open the door for a bit...

nickelbabyhatcher · 23/03/2011 12:29

the feeling in my stomach is like period pains.
it's weird.

babylann · 23/03/2011 12:55

With DD I cried at everything. There wasn't a single thing that didn't make me cry. Apart from scans. For some reason, I didn't get emotional at the scans and I didn't even cry when she was born. Couldn't shed a happy tear for the life I was creating, but sobbed uncontrollably at a dance on Strictly.

It made me feel dreadful that I didn't cry, when DP was blubbing away at both scans and the birth.

But I was lucky. I had no morning sickness. Of all the million things that went wrong during my pregnancy, I never got it. Slight nausea in the car, but that was all.

babylann · 23/03/2011 12:59

Oh and nickel, I didn't find out I was pg until I was about 2 weeks overdue because I was getting "period pains". They actually carried on coming for the first few weeks. I had a particularly scary one the day after I got my BFP, when I lifted a heavy parcel at work, I ran straight to the toilet and cried because it felt so scary - I was positive something was wrong.

From what I heard, "period pains" during early pregnancy are normal unless they're accompanied by bleeding or are extremely severe.

nickelbabyhatcher · 23/03/2011 13:17

i suppose it makes sense - you're going through the same kind of thing, but you're not shedding the lining, you're embedding the egg.
so it stands to reason that you'll get the same sensations.

I don't like period pains, though.

BamBam21 · 23/03/2011 13:20

Hi everyone. Just popping in to see how everyone is.

Don't worry nickel, the period-type pains are normal. Just one of Mother Nature's "jokes" I think!Smile

Glad you feel better today babylann.

Stay strong Josie. You are doing really well letting people know how you are feeling. You know you can always come here to vent if things start to get on top of you too.

nickelbabyhatcher · 23/03/2011 13:23

well, they're the reason why i fobbed you lot off on Monday - I just thought that it was ERTD being annoying!
yet, look, 2 days leter and i've got a bun in the oven. Shock

it's very surreal

babylann · 23/03/2011 13:38

It makes me so happy, nickel. I never tell DP what kind of stuff I chat about on MN, but for some reason I told him your happy news.

And all these BFPs have made me very positive. A very good thread, I think. Speaking of which, won't it run out of space soon?

nickelbabyhatcher · 23/03/2011 13:46

no, it's not even 700 yet!

I seem to tell DH everything about what i chat about on here! Blush

It's like my life during the day....

JosieSmith1 · 23/03/2011 13:53

I tell my DH everything from here too but miss out the 'pant snot' bits Grin

Nickel I was so glad when you got your BFP as I know you've been waiting ages (I don't mean that to be as offensive as it sounds) and it's given me hope.

Have discussed the scan with my colleague, asked if she wants to know the sex when she can, and what sex she'd like, and all without even getting a lump in my throat, yippee! That's about my quota for baby talk today though Grin

nickelbabyhatcher · 23/03/2011 14:00

i read "what sex she would like" before I read "asked if she wants to know the sex"
I thought you were discussing pregnancy sex! Blush

nickelbabyhatcher · 23/03/2011 14:01

thank you, anyway - no offence taken at all!
We were waiting ages, but not as long as some others, so we've done really well! Grin

JosieSmith1 · 23/03/2011 14:51

Blush Nickel I don't want to know what sort of sex she'd like during pg Grin I should have read that post through Grin

BamBam21 · 23/03/2011 14:52
Grin

You do have to get a bit "creative" during pg though!

nickelbabyhatcher · 23/03/2011 15:02

[boak]

JosieSmith1 · 23/03/2011 15:34

Do you not feel a bit 'fugly' during pg? I can't see myself wanting to have sex that often when I'm rather large Confused unless I turn into a sex-craved monster instead (hang on, that's me now Wink)

babylann · 23/03/2011 15:53

I didn't like sex during first few months because I was still a bit anxious and didn't know what was going on down there, and didn't want DP to hurt the baby Grin

The next few months were okay, but I didn't really have the drive.

After that, I found it impossible as I was too big.

But in the last two weeks, we did it about 3 times a day because I wanted that baby out of my body and everyone said it would help! It didn't though. I went into labour in the middle of the day when DP wasn't even at home, so it was nothing to do with him. Grin

But actually, I never felt too ugly or fat to have sex. In fact, I liked it. I used to be so self-conscious of my figure, for no real reason (I was size 10), but when I was pregnant I got a boost of confidence from the fact that I had an "excuse".

And now I'm size 16, still haven't even started thinking about shifting the baby weight, and DP has to like it or lump it. Funny how having a baby changes the way you think of yourself, in those regards.

JosieSmith1 · 23/03/2011 16:31

Babylann does your DS/DD have dimples Grin

I am so embarrassed - just got up from my computer at work to get some money from petty cash, and left my computer on with google pictures of implantation bleed on it!!! And one of the male officers came down and was standing next to my desk waiting for me to come back BlushBlushBlush

nickelbabyhatcher · 23/03/2011 16:44
