No Science. Just Shagging. Them's the rules! Thread for the Viroids.

The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (But it does work).

Covet thy husband and enjoy every minute. Shag at every opportunity - shag-capes and awesome superpowers optional.

Keep acronym-age to a minimum! EWCM is now to be referred to as 'pant snot'. Try not to get sucked in by Fertility Friend (at least for a while), but knowing where you are in your cycle and furkling for pant snot is most definitely allowed.
OV is ovulation - I'm allowed to forget what date I've OVd, feel free to join me on that one!

Bunting is to be put out for any small victory, thread-parties are held regularly and hugs are always welcome! Grin

Once you have your BFP, feel free to hang around and share your wisdom and virtual cocktails with the JSers.

Keep us up to date with gossip!

Most of these rules are well and truly broken!! But we try to chill - honest

I'm afraid I'm a bit like your ex when it comes to healthy eating nickel!BlushGrin I'm trying to be good though!

Hope katee is getting on okay.

kateepie2 · 18/03/2011 18:19

All good here thanks, scan experience was very surreal, but hey presto, there's a baby in there, a real wriggler too, with a heartbeat and everything. The staff were all lovely too. They couldn't find any cause for the bleed, so it may be the implantation bleed working through. I think it looks a bit like a curled up mouse, personally Grin

Keep up the mantra [bam], hope the red tide stays away from you [nickel] xx

NervousNelly · 18/03/2011 22:24

Evening Viroids,

Good to see the thread so busy today! I really struggle to get on at work (strangely my bosses really frown on MNing in company time Hmm).

Kateepie really glad things went well at your scan . I think I?ve seen you on the JSing Grads thread (I stalk that regularly as I ?know? so many Viroids on there.) Anyway, several of them have had on/off episodes of bleeding and all still looking good (TTL and Vallinapod spring to mind) so try not to worry!

Josie sorry you are feeling both low AND unwell Sad. However I think I can see a change in your response? You seem to have some better perspective this time around and are realising ?this too shall pass?? :) I hope you are back to your lovely self soon. Oh and by the way thanks for asking about my horse (about 5 pages back!!) ? she?s still at the vets, although we are hoping the worst has passed now. Dare I hope???

I hope you get sorted with the Doc, Babylann. That?s rubbish that they aren?t getting to the root of the problem, but hopefully the writing it all down method will work for you (as opposed to the rhythm method Grin.)

By the way, I think my ?symptom? of heartburn, was in fact just over-indulgence. Surprising, huh?? Wink.

Have a great weekend ladies! Hopefully you will get lots of BFPs, or JSing in (or both??) Grin. I am getting my hair done tomorrow, which is good as there are way too many Executive Blond highlights Hmm. Perhaps this will cause OH to remember I am actually a Sex Goddess, and not his flatmate/cleaner...

Hello everyone! So glad to hear you got good news at your scan Katee. Apparently my aunty bled all the way through her pregnancy (apparently didn't find out til she was about 5 months because she was still getting periods) and had no troubles giving birth to a healthy baby, my cousin.

Thanks for the good luck about the doctors, all. My appointment is on Monday and I'm a bit nervous about it, but feeling a lot better now I've written my note. Still no ERTD, despite the very definite pains the other night and the fact that I'm now beyond the due date of my second period since the last one I had in January.

But it has been about two weeks since my last POAS, maybe I should get another one? Or is that just going to rub salt into the wound? Smile

JosieSmith1 · 19/03/2011 07:34

Glad it went well Katie

Nice to 'see' you Nelly, glad your horse is looking up, fingers crossed for a full recovery. Yes I know what you mean about my outlook being different Nelly, even though I wasn't at my best yesterday I was ore just down than outright depressed so that's a big improvement, long may it continue Grin

Hope it goes well at docs Babylann.

Without saying exactly how I know (rule break alert) I appear to be ovulating, which didn't fel like it was going to happen, so DH will be getting seduced tonight Grin and I'm getting my hair cut too (quite short) so sexy hair better do the trick Grin

nickelbabysnatcher · 19/03/2011 16:36

still feel sick.
no ertd yet though.

[bleurgh]

need Brew and [sympathy]

kateepie2 · 19/03/2011 17:49

nickel what are you bloody waiting for, poas woman!

I felt sick pretty much as soon as the bean was conceived...

Brew and sympathy - as much as you want xx

Good luck at the docs babylann

Happy seducing nelly Grin

essenceofSES · 19/03/2011 21:23

Ooh nickel I agree - why haven't you POAS?!

katee - glad your scan went well :)

Josie - hope you like your new haircut and enjoy seducing your DH tonight Grin

babylann - good luck at the doctor's on Monday. I think the plan that you have for the appointment is spot on so I'm sure it will be beneficial

I am trying to be oblivious to the fact that ovulation must be iminent :) Managed some JSing last night but DH away tonight. Lucky sod got a ticket for Ireland v England in the rugby through work and he will now be very happy as he's Irish to the core :)

Hope everyone else is ok and enjoying the weekend!

toytown · 19/03/2011 21:40

Hello Viroids!
I've not written for a while but have been lurking from time to time.
Lastest with me is my 'every three monthly' period arrived on day 35 on 24th Feb so yay! Smile
I'm now trying to find some kind of fish to slap myself with as I'm feeling sick, tired, strange taste in mouth etc and am now desperate to test.
Problem is, I have no idea when to test as I don't know if I'm now on a 35 day cycle or 90 day one?! Confused
Anyway, felt the need to share.
nickle - I think you should POAS
katee - congratulations
Josie - my plan too was to seduce DH but i'm now to busy trying not to be sick.

PenguinPoo4 · 19/03/2011 22:26

Evening!
Nickel - POAS results?????
BamBam - hope your health kick is going well, dont deprive yourself too much though, a couple glasses of wine wont harm your TTC chances (I say this as someone with no medical knowledge whatsoever Grin).
Josie - new haircut do the trick?
Katie - I'm loving hearing your baby updates, cant wait till its my turn :)
Toy - maybe you could get a job lot of cheapo test from the internet and then just test whenever you fancy? Hopefully you'll only need the one of course! Personally I'd do that and buy one expensive test too, so if you get what you think is a line on a cheapo one you could then 'confirm' it with the posh test.
I'm having a rare weekend off, had drinks with friends last night, DP been working all day dont know when he'll be back (only 19.20 where I live), so I've had a lovely lazy day baking strudel, cooking lamb, drinking wine, watching films and listening to music, mmmm... - no kids yet as I'm ure you've guessed or my day off would've been much different I'm sure haha!
I hope all you viroids are having lovely weekends and enjoying lots of JS'ing x

JosieSmith1 · 20/03/2011 14:30

Afternoon everyone

Yes my new haircut worked Wink and will be working it's magic again tonight Grin Might as well give ourselves the best possible chance as we know ov is happening. I went for a long relaxing ride this morning so everything 'down there' (or should that be 'up there') should be nice and relaxed and can do it's thing instead of being stressed out Grin I did a whole load of housework yesterday so today there's nothing to do and I'm spending the day relaxing in front of the tv

Essence I was massively disappointed with the rugby yesterday Angry

Penguin enjoy your quiet weekend - mine has just been disturbed by the dog snoring Grin

Any news Nickel?

PenguinPoo4 · 20/03/2011 15:10

Glad your haircut went down well Josie and good on you for going for a (bike?/horse?) ride. I need to go do some excercise too. Nice day here, so will walk to the gym (20-30mins), do my weights then walk back. Working v long hours recently I havent had time to go to the gym hardly but I dont have that excuse this weekend!
Nickel????
Bam - stay off the booze last night did you? I drank a whole bottle of wine to myself oops Blush

babylann · 21/03/2011 09:45

Doctor appointment in an hour

hope you're all having a good monday morning.

glad to hear your hair worked some magic, Josie!

And Nickel, please update! We are all very excited as you can tell ;)

Sorry about any typos etc, my phone has terrible predictive text (swype for any ladies with a samsung galaxy s). I used to love it but it's such a burden now.

DD's wearing jeggings today :D I went to buy her some new clothes at the weekend (she's 10 months but the size of a 1.5 year old) and she's grown out of baby clothes and into little girl clothes now which was a lot more fun than buying baby suits. I got her a little mini tracksuit, she looked so mini gangster when we went to the park yesterday. Have to confess the shopping trip was a but emotional though, realising she's almost officially a toddler and not my baby anymore.

kateepie2 · 21/03/2011 09:50

Good luck babylann will be thinking of you! Don't forget your bit of paper xx

BamBam21 · 21/03/2011 10:30

Hi everybody! Hope you all had lovely weekends.

So glad everything is fine with the bean katee. You must be relieved.

Good luck at the doc's babylann. Hopefully your bit of paper will do the trick, and they'll suggest something more appropriate than the pill.

Nickel, I'd just like to add my call to POAS!!Grin

Well, DP and I weren't entirely booze free over the weekend, but just a bottle of wine between us, which is a lot less than we would have had. We even got some lovely JSing in.Wink Hopefully this week we'll both feel strong enough to kick the ciggies.Hmm

nickelbabysnatcher · 21/03/2011 12:04

blimey! you harpies! Grin

okay, no POAS.
this is why:

  1. thought that i'd remembered the date of my "ERTD's here" post, and thought it was 26th, so therefore ERTD is actually a week ago. Just checked it now, though, and it does say 21st feb.
  2. gave blood yesterday, so didn't want to jeopardise
  3. have been taking multi-vitamins with iron, so thought maybe the sickness feeling might be due to that.
  4. i'm not as obsessive as you lot Wink
Grin

I might think about it later.
but don't get your hopes upo! Grin

just checking the rest of the updates now.

nickelbabysnatcher · 21/03/2011 12:05

to go not ago

kateepie2 · 21/03/2011 12:11

nickel you might at least have the decency to piar if you won't poas Wink

what's the sick feeling like? multi-vits shouldn't be making you feel sick, iron may make you constipated but not sick...

how are your boobs? Grin

babylann let us know how you got on?

BamBam21 · 21/03/2011 12:14

Grinnickel! Obsessive? Us??Grin

nickelbabysnatcher · 21/03/2011 12:16

stop it! Shock

sick feeling is more light-headed, like a headache is coming on. not really nausea. the best way to describe it is like travel sickness.

boobs are annoyingly large, and a bit tender.

but that's not symptoms!

kateepie2 · 21/03/2011 12:23

Well its totally up to you me dear, but we're all rooting for you anyway Grin

but... if they are not 'symptoms' I will eat my hat!

Wink
nickelbabysnatcher · 21/03/2011 12:25

okay, okay!
I'll leave it till wednesday and see then.
okay?
Grin

or i could do it in the the morning.
don't want to waste my piss-stick though! i've only got one!

kateepie2 · 21/03/2011 12:38

Wednesday is fine by me, don't want you to waste your last piss stick! Grin

will leave you alone now! tee hee! sorry Smile

nickelbabysnatcher · 21/03/2011 13:01
Grin
BamBam21 · 21/03/2011 13:05

Okay nickel, the decision is yours!

Fingers crossed for you.Smile
