Micku5 · 07/10/2005 17:43

Hi.... was going to post on the other thread but saw this one. AF due tomorrow but I couldn't wait so i did a test this morning and it was -ve At least it means I can have a few drinks tomorrow night

Artoo · 07/10/2005 17:43

Well done homemama for setting up our new combined thread

Here's my info for those who don't know me (and those who've forgotten!):

Me: 34
DH: 35
TTC #1 since July 2005. Yes we're late starters

Charting since I came off the Pill indicates a luteal phase of 7 days - i.e. too short for the egg to settle in the womb before AF arrives. Successful initial consultation with doctor, and going for 21-day blood test on the 17th. Hoping I can still get fat for August, but accepting it might take a while to sort my cycle out. I'm reasonably chilled about the whole thing at the moment, as I have a good plan of attack, with various different things to try.

Hugs,
Artoo.

I can still wear a bikini at the moment, but hopefully not for too much longer!

TTC since Feb this year, lots of practising but no luck as yet! On the plus side, that's lots of fabulous sex!

Me: 27 (since last Sun)
DH: 30

Extra much fun atm cos I'm ovulating a week earlier than usual - but hopefully this will be our last attempt and then we can go back to taking it a bit easier...

JAG123 · 08/10/2005 19:51

Hi all

Sorry Stacey

Well AF arrived yesterday checked my dates & it was right on time. I'm gutted as i was getting symtoms that i don't usually get queasy & heartburn(which i have only ever suffered with all through pregnancy with DD).

oh! well time to pick myself up & start again. Have bought loads of Grapefruit Juice as haven't really had much cm (sorry if TMI)

Hope we get some good news on here soon

staceym11 · 08/10/2005 20:26

dont worry, we got plenty of time (like i really mean that!) lol, just trying to stay cool, it only first month of trying and we enjoying all the bding anyway. dont no one worry about me, and on the bright side i can stay round here for a bit longer!!!!!!

hope everyone ok!!!!

puppy · 08/10/2005 21:12

((((stacey)))) so sorry

and sorry to jag that your af arrived.

I havn't much to say tonight, must be the wine thats gonee to my head

milosmum · 09/10/2005 09:10

sorry jag

JAG123 · 09/10/2005 14:21

Thanks MM & Puppy its just so frustrating when your body tricks you with symtoms you don't usually get. Went through the its never gonna happen stage & was told by DH that if i wasn't going to be positive how could i expect any positive results! That told me! but i know he's right. (as usual )

How are you getting on MM? I read about your DS you must be very proud.

I hope you enjoyed your wine Puppy & that it didn't give you a hangover like it always does with me.

staceym11 · 09/10/2005 14:28

oh sorry body being a pain jag, hope next month a better one for you.

i cant believe this af seeing as it was nearly a week late and now im bleeding through a super tampon in 2hrs (sorry if tmi) and i have never had a period that heavy! my body being all odd!!!

oh well never mind, after af dissappears can bd with dh again which will be great!!!! he been sent out to buy me mc'donalds now!!!!!

Jen1209 · 09/10/2005 16:07

Hi - love the new title!!! Although me in a bikini would only bring the RSPCA out looking for the reported beached whale in Colchester!!!!

Have just spent the last 3 hours baking cakes and cookies for DP's office as it was his birthday yesterday. I am now so tired I could just lie down on the kitchen floor and sleep!!! With this in mind, I am going to update our stats: -

Me - 26
DP - 35
ttc #1 - since Sept 04

Had an apt with the infertility consultant on Monday - DP has done his "sample" and I have got to to have bloods done on days 2 - 4, day 21 and a Hypo thingy where they put dye in your tubes to make sure they are not blocked... BUT (takes a deep breath) AF was due Friday (CD30 have never ever been longer than this) and no sign at all, feel v sick all the time with really sore boobies (left more than right which is weird) What do you lovely ladies think? Way to scared to do a test yet (DP wants to wait until next weekend) but also want to know what on earth is going on! So do not want to get my hopes up....

Hope everyone else is ok, sorry to hear about your BFN Stacey and AF then turning up, this is why I have got my knickers in a twist now! And you Jag, nightmare isn't it (but I like your DH's thinking, positive thoughts, positive results etc, may try some of that myself!)

Sorry it has been a while since I last caught up with you. I am partially sighted and have to look at a computer all day at work, so it isn't really good for my eyes to then come home and od it again!

Hugs to all, J xx

JAG123 · 09/10/2005 18:23

Thanks Stacey hope your AF doesn't last too long so you can carry on trying.

Jen thats sounds promising but i know what you mean. I was convinced this month. I think that if you can hold out i would try, but in saying that you have to do what is right for you, might be better to put your mind at rest & test. Not much help am i This TTC lark is a real nightmare but lets hope it will all be worth it in the end.
