Hi,

I had Implanon removed end of November, have had one period since and am currently on day 16. TTC #2. Used some OPKs over the weekend which were positive on Sunday and Monday morning so assuming I ovulated Sun or Mon perhaps tho this was my first time using them properly.

Anyone else due to test around the same time who wants to share (possibly non-existent!) symptoms? :)

arabella here's hoping it wasn't just an evaporation line!!! Make sure you put the light on in the bathroom and splash your face with cold water to wake up fully beforehand for full line checking ability! Smile

If bfn then hopefully sunface has saved some chocolate brownies for you to commiserate with!! But am sure we can find something more extravagent to celebrate with if bfp!! Grin

VintageNancy · 19/01/2011 17:41

Ooooh I have my fingers crossed for you arabella!

arabella36 · 19/01/2011 17:52

Thanks for the support guys! (sunface Ghost blue and vintage )There will be a lack of surprise around here that I couldn't wait for tomorrow to waste more moneyBlushBlush

So i tried a clearblue test(the one with the cross for a positive and a horizontal line for negative). The results were what my DH calls"inconclusive" but most likely negative. He went on to say "I've looked it up and you shouldn't test so early because of the high rate of chemical pregnancies". He's a bit of a party pooper. The horizontal part of the cross consisted of about 4 blue lines but the verticle line consisted of only one, ie was a lot thinner.

arabella36 · 19/01/2011 17:53

So then I got a clearblue digital and it said notpregnant Poo! And double Poo!

Snakeears · 19/01/2011 18:01

Good luck Arabella! Sorry Vintage Nancy :-(

Apparently tescos own tests are good - give result a day before you're due and are cheap (ish)

Good luck guys x x

(5 more sleeps - maybe 4 with tescos test!)

arabella36 · 19/01/2011 18:32

vintage sorry to hear about AF arriving:(
No chance it was the implantation bleeding instead which some others talk about?

Thanks for the good wishessnackers

arabella36 · 19/01/2011 18:34

I meant snakeers, my iPad thought it knew better Angry

FluffyDonkey · 19/01/2011 18:47

ooooo things are moving fast!
So we have one possible BFP and one definate non pregnancy Sad

Totally agree with whoever said that they've experienced their first rollercoaster month of TTC. It's soooo hard to do. I'm aware of every twinge and ache.

DH keeps telling me he wants me to be pregnant, which is actually starting to annoy me Blush because apart from SWI every other day there's not much else I can do! Plus he tends to mention it in the brief moment that I've actually stopped thinking about it, which gets me thinking about it all over again!

He really wants a little girl too - that one definately isn't up to me! Wink

I've got 4 more sleep before testing too! Lovely way of putting it Snakeears. I should have 5 but no way I'm testing on a depressing Monday morning...

BlueCrane · 19/01/2011 19:06

hmph Angry...so much for no AF symptoms, that lovely dull ache/start of cramps has appeared this evening Sad...might want some of those chocolate brownies myself soon!!

BlueCrane · 19/01/2011 19:08

PS fluffy and arabella never did I imagine it would be so frustrating and not looking forward to another 2ww next month and this is only the first time round...really do feel for those who it's gone on for much longer!

arabella36 · 19/01/2011 19:19

I agree blue crane. It must be so hard if it takes absolutely ages. I've been so obsessed this month. It would not be good for that to go on for a very long time. I think the TTC business can be really hard and unfair. Re your PM symptoms - it's so confusing because everyone says they're like pregnancy symptoms.

VintageNancy · 19/01/2011 19:23

Arabella For a brief moment this morning I thought - could it be the mystical implantation bleed? But no bloomin' way!

Fluffy after the first month when I was symptom spotting and compulsively testing (and period was 3 days late) I told myself I wouldn't ss or test early again... oh dear!

Pass the chocolate brownies please! I'm on weightwatchers but a virtual one doesn't count.

BlueCrane · 19/01/2011 19:48

For those of us who end up with bfn's at the end of this cycle I think we need to try and challenge our collective selves to be less obsessed with the elusive symptom spotting next month...it's worth trying Hmm!!! (read...I'm sure the intention and resolve will be good until the 2ww commences and then one by one we'll all fall off the wagon and start ss'ing again!! Grin)

CazandBelle · 19/01/2011 19:55

Evening all,

vintage sorry to hear about the arrival of AF. fingers crossed that next month is your month.

blue excellent challenge! I bet we fail! haha!

I'm still convinced my boobs look different, but I'm still feeling so crappy otherwise I'm not noticing anything else. I'm no responding very well to these antibiotics so going to go back to Drs tomorrow I think. I usually respond much quicker than this, so I've even found myself hoping thats a sign! that my reseves are being leached by a small thing which is stopping me getting better quickly! haha

We'll see. I'm so impaitent to test now. Holding off until at least Sunday. I really should just wait until next Wednesday. 1 week down, 1 week to go.

2ww goes soooooo slowly. This month feels even worse than last month. and last month ended up being a 4ww haha! I suppose its because I'm pretty sure I ov this month, and last month I wasn't convinced I had.

fingers firmly crossed for everyone. hope we have a good few bfps to move over to a nice new antenatal group!

KatyCustard · 19/01/2011 20:17

Arabella at probably around the same time as you were PO your Clearblue Digital I was cleaning out my bathroom cupboard when lo and behold, what do I find? You've guessed it - A CB digital!

Now, ladies, did I put it back? Did I think "oh good, a really expensive test that I can save for next week when I'm actaully due"? Did I exert self control, knowing that, at half past four in the afternoon aproximately 4 days before I'm due AF that a BFP on a CB digital is as unlikely as Boris Johnson becoming Labour? No. I did not.

I thought. "Oh goody, a stick to pee on!" I might as well have taken by 10 or so quid and peed on that. Blush

It's like a disease I tell you....

arabella36 · 19/01/2011 20:27

Lol at KatyGrin

CazandBelle · 19/01/2011 20:30

Lol katy your post actually made me laugh out loud!!!

VintageNancy · 19/01/2011 20:30

Oh Katy Lol!

Caz thank you - I hope so too. Otherwise it won't be until at least April as husband away so much.

Good challenge Blue!

Snakeears · 19/01/2011 20:55

Oh dear Katy - It is a disease!

Is anyone here using clear blue fertility monitor at all? Just wondering because I'm on day 23 of my cycle and my CB monitor is still saying that I'm high fertility (2 bars out of 3) but I've not been peak yet... think I might have done a test wrong or it might mean I'm going to have a long cycle which will be very annoying

... don't think even I could guess that's a symptom!

Booooooo :-(

BlueCrane · 19/01/2011 21:53

well...in advance of my 'challenge' starting it's just one sleep 'til I test unless AF gets me first!

Hope all goes well in the morning arabella!

BuffyFairy · 19/01/2011 22:30

Hi there,

Katy you did make me laugh, it's so true!

snakeears I'm glad I'm not the only one who had the stabbing pains, maybe it does mean something after all. Had more stomach cramps today but feeling like the ones just before AF so not so optimistic now.

Sorry to hear about the BFN VintageNancy. Hope it's your turn next month.

Good luck for the morning Arabella and Blue.

Really glad I've found this morning, it's so nice not to feel alone in the 2ww. Not many more sleeps for the rest of us.

BuffyFairy · 19/01/2011 22:31

Meant to say 'this forum' not 'this morning' - makes no sense at all above! lol

daimbardiva · 19/01/2011 22:49

My DH is convinced that I am pg - he says he can "just tell". He was right the last two times so fingers crossed he's right again...!

arabella36 · 20/01/2011 06:58

BFP, woooohooooo!!

Am so excited I'm stating an October bus alreadyGrinBlush

Thanks for all the support ladies and good luck! Hoping lots of us will be on this new baby busSmile
