Hi,

I had Implanon removed end of November, have had one period since and am currently on day 16. TTC #2. Used some OPKs over the weekend which were positive on Sunday and Monday morning so assuming I ovulated Sun or Mon perhaps tho this was my first time using them properly.

Anyone else due to test around the same time who wants to share (possibly non-existent!) symptoms? :)

sorry to hear that vintage, big giant massive luck next month.

fluffy, big sympathy on the migraine, hope it has disappeared today. I haven't been testing either! But then I haven't bought any tests for that very reason. To top it off, I live in a small town (where I also work) so couldn't possibly buy tests in the local chemist for fear of being spotted by someone I know (esp someone from work eeek).

And if I'm being honest I really think we were a little too late in the cycle when we accidentally got a head start on TTC, though after we had done it once we decided there was no point using condoms for the rest of the month! A girl can dream though...

sunface · 19/01/2011 09:42

Aw vintagenancy sorry to hear that :( and was the wicked AF early too? Just rubbish.
I'm trying soo hard to resist testing. Pretty much convinced though that i'm not pregnant, too many AF symptoms... Good luck everyone, it's getting close to testing date for a lot of us!!!!

skippyjroo · 19/01/2011 09:58

Poor you Vintage, Sad

All of my symptoms have vanished, so am even more convinced that they were imaginary.... Hmm

eastegg · 19/01/2011 09:59

Hello again ladies, I've not posted since last week. Sorry Vintage, that's rubbish.

Ghost, I'm a bit like you (see post last week). AF is now officially late by about 2 days, but as I was ill over Christmas which may have buggered up ovulation and we def didn't have sex until 8th Jan, I haven't tested yet as I'm thinking even if I'm PG it's going to still be a negative. If I tested would I be the 1st to test after AF overdue? I'm not going to do it til the weekend though.

I have a confession which is I've started thinking I don't really want to be PG this month. We def want aonther baby (DS is 20 months) but wanted it a bit later than this, and we got drunk on Sat night (had a lovely night away in a hotel, planned since Christmas). Feel v guilty about that.

ghosteditor · 19/01/2011 10:07

hey, east, sounds promising - are you ever normally late or is this unusual for you? I think you would be the first to test actually after AF overdue on this list but maybe it's wise to wait a few more days if you can?

I wouldn't worry too much about feeling a bit unsure - once you find out either way you'll know how you really feel!

VintageNancy · 19/01/2011 10:20

Thank you fluffy ghost and sunface. It's fab to have people I can tell and who understand.

VintageNancy · 19/01/2011 10:21

Oh and east and skippy. thank you x

eastegg · 19/01/2011 10:24

Thanks ghost, I'm sure I would be delighted, and I am a bit excited although my post may not show it much! I'd wanted another spring baby, it was good being pregnant in the winter and then having the spring/summer ahead of us. Completely unimportant I know.

I used to be late quite a lot, but not since having DS and BFing. I really have no idea whether I'm PG. With DS I had no noticeable symptoms until 6 weeks, although I wasn't symptom spotting at all. Then it was very noticeable nausea, weird appetite disturbances etc. I've just had wind so far!

BlueCrane · 19/01/2011 10:35

24hrs til testing time though have convinced myself i'm not pg this month Sad so ondering whether to bother or just wait for AF! At least having gone through rollercoaster of first month of TTC i know what to expect and plan for next month! I naively hadn't really thought about all the timing issues and waiting before the 2ww started this month! Blush

arabella36 · 19/01/2011 11:19

Well I definitley have premenstrual symptoms today so I am feeling sure
I'm not pregnant this month after all. Day 26 now.
Good luck to everyone else though:-)

sunface · 19/01/2011 11:51

arabella36 · 19/01/2011 12:13

arabella36 · 19/01/2011 12:14

Sorry you're feeling the same sunface. Boo Hoo!!!

KatyCustard · 19/01/2011 13:48

I'm assuming it's still to early for anyone to get a clear BFP? Sorry to hear those of you who have started AF or are about to. I'm beggining to feel I am one of them! I am getting a bit fed up to be honest - we've been trying for two years now and I get to this point every month when cautious optimism becomes gloomy realism as I have to accept that my "definately not imaginary symptoms" are, infact, my horrible body playing tricks on me AGAIN! Still. it's not over till it's over.... Grin

muffins · 19/01/2011 13:51

Afternoon ladies,

Sorry about your BFN VintageNancy Sad

I tested again yesterday with a FMU which was negative, was 8 days post ovulation (maybe 9 but prob 8). Was a FR test too.
Based on this I have convinced myself I'm not pregnant, stupid I know.

I don't really have any symptoms either now. Still been a bit gassy and bloated but don't think my dietary choices have helped that!
Few period type cramps although these seem to have lessened quite a bit now.
No boobie symptoms which I had when pregnant with DS.

Have been googling how early you can reliably test and it seems that 10 DPO is really the earliest and a pregnant women would have BHCG of about 25 on this day which is what the sensitive tests pick up. Anyway, going to hold off til the 24th now, well.....maybe Grin

Thinking of you all and hoping we get some BFPs on here! And soon please! x

Hello all...sorry to hear about all the BFN's, AF symptoms starting and AF rearing her ugly head!

I (bizarrely) have no symptoms suggesting AF about to appear (due tomorrow) but neither do I have any of the other 'symptoms' we've all been discussing for a possible bfp...so Confused will have to wait and see! Was going to test tomorrow morning but think I'll save my £5 and try and hold out until the weekend...am fairly certain AF will appear but am trying to retain a glimmer of hope that she won't and then I can test Sunday/Monday and see...

sunface · 19/01/2011 15:00

thanks bluecrane those choccies were lovely!!! oooooo i hate to say this, but why not just go and get a test today!!!! ooo bad me!!! sorry!!!!

arabella36 · 19/01/2011 15:12

I second that! Go and get a test !!

sunface · 19/01/2011 15:25

kinda forgot we were meant to be helping each other not to test!!!!! :)

BlueCrane · 19/01/2011 15:28

Have got a test at home in my bedside drawer...did think about using it this morning but wanted to use on first pee of the day (for best chance of 'strong' concentration!) and was so so sleepy when I woke at 5am ish that i just couldn't face it! Also DH was on an early shift so had already gone to work. Will see how I feel tomorrow and keep you posted! Glad you enjoyed the chocs!

sunface · 19/01/2011 15:35

ooo how exciting!!!!! Look forward to hearing your (hopefully!!!!) good news!!! happy testing!!! xx

arabella36 · 19/01/2011 16:38

Uh oh, I accidentally committed a cardinal sin in the world of POAS-ing. Was in a rush this am doing my usual wasting a stick with FMU. It was a FR and it was negative. Anyway I came home later and as I was lifting it to throw in the bin I noticed a very very faint second line. DH says it doesn't count as its outside the timeframe and I know this, but what if I just couldnt see it this am as it was a dark morning and the line was extremely faint? Mmmmm.

Had been thinking I felt pregnant during 2ww due to suspicious symptoms but then this am felt that i had PM symptoms.

I'm either 8 or 9 DPO today.

sunface · 19/01/2011 16:42

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! go get another test and test first thing in the morning!!!!! Oh arabella36 i'm keeping everything crossed for you!!!!!!!

ghosteditor · 19/01/2011 16:45

arabella I really hope this is a BFP for you - I'm not v experienced with testing but do know that it's important to look within the timeframe. This is DEFINITELY worth testing in the morning though so will be keeping everything crossed for you!!!

ghosteditor · 19/01/2011 16:47

oh and katycustard, sorry to hear that it's taking a long time, hon, it must be really stressful and draining to have to wait. Any advice from GP? Saving up my biggest good-luck-on-TTC wishes for you!
