Anybody else due to test around 24th January?

Hi,

I had Implanon removed end of November, have had one period since and am currently on day 16. TTC #2. Used some OPKs over the weekend which were positive on Sunday and Monday morning so assuming I ovulated Sun or Mon perhaps tho this was my first time using them properly.

Anyone else due to test around the same time who wants to share (possibly non-existent!) symptoms? :)

Well...I did a test this morning...bfn...but still no sign of AF and it's not over til then!!

I tested this morning too and had two lines....the second was very faint tho, af due 25 so have tested 5 days early

AF not due until Sunday/Monday so won't be testing until Tuesday at least. Definitely thinking I'll be contending with AF on Monday...

think my AF is due next tues/wed. all guess work though! a bfp would really cheer me up about now. (although ive lost all my positive thinking and not hopeful that I am anymore!) ive got to the stage where i would gladly go into hospital if they would hook me up to drips to give me these antibiotics and painkillers to just lie there and get better. Its becoming such an ordeal forcing them down when I can't see any progress!!

My lines are faint too (I'm only 9 or 10 DPO). But it still counts! Congratulations!

What test did you use muffin?
My FR one this morning was fainter than the clearblue one with the cross.

Keep expecting AF to appear but have to pop into town tomorrow lunch so if ot here by then I may indulge in buying another couple of tests! ...anyone know if the Boots own brand ones are any good or is it worth sticking to Clearblue?

hi bluecrane i bought some boots ones the 4-day early testing ones. Think they are reduced slightly just now £8 for 2? Good luck!!! i'll be offline tomorrow unfortunately, but i'll keep all crossed for you over the weekend!

arabella I used a First response one mainly because they advertise on packet can be used 6 days before missed period.

May purchase some clearblue ones on way home for tomorrow mornings festivities then!

I'm just feeling a bit shellshocked as I genuinely didn't expect to see two lines, still not quite sure I believe it now! Well I don't believe it. Maybe if it's still there tomorrow then I will.

Congrats to all those with positives, and commiserations to those who are going to have to keep trying. I've set myself a deadline of Sunday (AF due Tues) and then I am going to PEE ON A STICK!!!!!

I second daimbardiva with the congrats and comiserations. I did a Predictor early one last night, despite telling myself very firmly not to, and at least wait till this morning. Of course I couldn't and it was BFN! I did a bit of googling about Chemical Pregancy this morning and I'm hoping that's going to put me off buying any more tests till at least monday when (I only think) AF is due!

The symptoms are driving me MAD though! This morning I had such strong cramps that I was sure I was going to get AF. Bad sign though was me getting really grumpy with DH last night, could be PMT.....Argh!

Icoulddoitbetter I'm totally with you on the symptoms driving you mad. I think AF due today (only second natural cycle post pill though so I could be wrong)...anyway, none of the usual AF syptoms yesterday but then some crampy feeling last night...gone this morning and a BFN and nothing else so far! Oh, and a strange sore nipple last night (which I never notmally get) just to tease me in the final days of the 2ww!! SO frustrating as really just want to know one way or the other now!! Going to try and wait until Sunday for another test... unless AF gets me first!

i'm with you bluecrane, going to now wait for AF or test Sun/Mon. But i'm pretty sure she's on her way..... hey ho. Wishing everyone else the best of luck this month and it's so great to hear of 2 definate BFPs!!

Blue you can wait with me. I'm now officially about 3 days late but haven't tested yet. Yes I know I'm bucking the general trend. Going to wait until the weekend. Finding it weirdly easy to wait. Think I'm nervous about finding out! Also I'm expecting AF to be late.

east well done with waiting! I caved in this morning but shouldn't really had bothered as had a feeling it might be too early [here's hoping that's why it was bfn!]. I was lying in bed for ages umming and aahhing about whether to do it or not though! But for the next one...Sunday it is unless AF here first!
