Anybody else due to test around 24th January?

Hi,

I had Implanon removed end of November, have had one period since and am currently on day 16. TTC #2. Used some OPKs over the weekend which were positive on Sunday and Monday morning so assuming I ovulated Sun or Mon perhaps tho this was my first time using them properly.

Anyone else due to test around the same time who wants to share (possibly non-existent!) symptoms? :)

Planning on testing tomorrow. Kinda excited but on the otherhand I really don't feel pregnant so part of me doesn't want to test as I don't want to see another BFN

Yeah 25babalou fantastic news!! secretly it does sound as though there's def something going on in that body of yours!! When did you last test? Is it worth getting a docs app to discuss your symptoms and lack of AF? No sign of AF here yet either! Planning to test again at the weekend !

Bluecrane I'm seeing Dr next week. I've seen her once and she wants to wait til I'm 6 weeks last tested on saturday it was a bfn. I'm sick of getting bfns so just waiting and taking folic acid x x

secretly sounds like a plan. The BFN's are just so depressing. At least without them and no AF there's still some hope! Hang in there!

bluecrane i hear you, I'm another with BFN and no AF. Been throwing up sporadically but intensely for 2 days. Hot, shaky, dizzy. Think it's just a bug and AF will show. Scared as would v much like to be PG but three months of this would be an issue as i can't walk very much, let alone teach... Hoping it settles and I am PG, and you are too. I have blood tests at 4pm for general diagnosis of WTF is wrong with me so fingers crossed for myself and everyone else

localcrackpot...ihope u dont mind me asking, but how long is it since u were due your period....i just feel like ive been waiting for ever, ill be a fortnight late on fri/sat and dr just told me to put in a urine test next mondaay and go from there re examination and bloods, how did u get them to do bloods, did they suggest or did u ask

really sorry for all the BFNs I'm really shocked and very happy this morning because I was convinced I wasn't but I'm pregnant - took a test this AM!!!

I took The Test this morning and....

BFP!!!

DH and I were jumping all over the room we're so happy

Of course we then settled down and said we've another 8 weeks of worrying about miscarrying so not to celebrate too early but we're so chuffed.

Line was fainter than the control line but most definately there.

I'm still grinning now

Hey guys - HUGE congrats for the BFPs!!!

I'm afraid that I have less good news...AF came to visit (finally) this morning !!! 5 days late after luring me into a false sense that I might just possibly get a BFP with all those symptoms!! Oh well...at least the wait is over and now I know my cycle lengths are not consistent...!

I got an LFP this morning from FR. Am Going to get my GP to do blood test if i can to double check as this is heading the same way as it did 6 years ago when i found out i was pregnant with my DS

Hi secretly the bloods weren't connected to ttc but to other ongoing health issues drs are having trouble diagnosing so they told me I'd have them done, sorry... I'm hardly late at all atm really.

Is anyone else still waiting? I had a bfn last Sat, now on day 39 and no AF. Now woondering if the stabbing pains I felt were ov pains (on day 29!) in which case all my timings would be out anyway. TTC with irregular peiods is hard :-(

ive been having immense back pain (something which i never have) lots of tuggy/crampy/twitchy/weirdo pains about two weeks ago (much different to usual AF) ive had nausea in the mornings and gagged a few times - i had a few aversions to food to begin and sometimes find i difficult to hold things down without feeling woozy!

all that with a dash of extra CM, dizzyness, mild headaches leg cramps and twingy tingly breasts - abit weird to sleep on tummy for some reason....

Me and DH DTD on NYE im not sure of my chances however had a light bleed 5 or so days after - AF cycles are abit messed up...POAS all BFN

Insight anyone....? Congrats on all the BFPs! xx

I still don't know, I haven't tested again yet because I'm a bit scared to to be honest. I really don't want a BFN but all my symptoms seem to be fading

Tested again, still BFN. Wish AF would just hurry up if she is going to arrive, then I would at least know. While I don't have AF I keep convincing myself I still have a chance!

Secretlywishing Only one day late, so not really all that bad but I am just a bit fed up now, it's my first month of TTC so I think it has just been a month of really weird emotions and I honestly didn't think I would get so uptight about it but obviously I have. I have a lot of respect for people who try for years to have a baby now. I'm not suprised you are going demented waiting for AF after 2 weeks! Have you got a Doctors appointment?

I've seen gp once last week she has told me to wait and submit another sample after the 29th then see her again. What is hard is that if I am pg I need to be seen str8 away as I am prone to bloodclots ie deep vein thrombosis. My last pg nearly killed me. The doc says it'll b ok if I'm closely monitored from day one. Oh the joys......still no sign of af

Thanks for all the responses...cheered me up a bit as having a pretty pants day TBH...tried going back to work this morning but with hideous AF cramps made me feel v ill again so had to come home...only to find that DH is ill with an upset stomach so trying to look after him. Feel SO emotional about the whole TTC thing and just really fed up at having waited all week getting my hopes up for a late BFP and AF decides to turn up! I know it's only month 1 but I really had started to think I was PG and that it was just late showing on th tests. How your mind plays tricks when it comes to symptoms when TTCing!!

BlueCrane Awww I really feel for you, TTC really messes with your head! Definitely eat as much chocolate as possible! I'm making chocolate brownies later so I'll bring some virtual ones to share with everyone
