Anybody else due to test around 24th January?

Hi,

I had Implanon removed end of November, have had one period since and am currently on day 16. TTC #2. Used some OPKs over the weekend which were positive on Sunday and Monday morning so assuming I ovulated Sun or Mon perhaps tho this was my first time using them properly.

Anyone else due to test around the same time who wants to share (possibly non-existent!) symptoms? :)

tested tonight, couldn't wait till morning when AF on way feelings were so strong.
bfn as I was beginning to suspect :( good luck to everyone still waiting.

Spent all night retching (tmi, sorry) and BFN this am. Sad AF due tomorrow. Ho hum.

Wow lots of BFPs (congrats) and a few AF Sad and a few waiters...

I'll join in with the waiting group! I tested Saturday (2 days before AF was due) and of course it was BFN. However, AF was due yesterday and still no sign.

I currently have no symptoms whatsoever - no AF, and no pregnancy. I'm afraid it might be because I've just come off the pill and am settling in for a very very long cycle Sad (the only other time I came off the pill I didn't have a period for 14 weeks which at the time was great but now I'm hoping it won't happen again)

Have agreed with DH to wait until Thursday to test again - and this time test in the morning and not the afternoon as I did last time.

Fingers crossed for all of us who are still waiting....

Thanks everyone for the congrats. Still can't quite take it in and keep thinking AF will still make an appearance..... wishing you all lots of luck for BFPs - wish i had a big anti-AF magic wand to keep her away for all of you!!!!! xx

Hello all...I see the elusive AF is causing us all a few sleepless nights!

Checking in today on CD34 of UCL30 and STILL no sign of AF and a BFN this morning too Sad! Am still at home feeling sorry for myself with this silly tonsilitis as well Angry...

Aw bluecrane, i wonder what's going on? If its any consolation, i did another test today and it was negative :( no idea what that's about as i tested at the same time as yesterday - lunchtime.....

Sunface...what a pain! I'm sure I've read here about people's tests going up and down so to speak! If you've got another one it might be worth checking that too but maybe wait for first thing in the morning when your urine is most concentrated and that's when you should get best result.Smile

Thanks sunface. I've run out of tests at the moment but don't think that's a bad thing as it'll stop me testing again til later in the week when hopefully I'll be feeling a bit better again as well! Would just like to know eitherway at the moment but trying to be patient! Keep me posted how you get on!

Bluecrane - sympathies for the trying to be patient. I too just want to know now!

I know that knowing now rather than next week won't change anything, but still, I want to know!

I really hope my cycle won't be several months long. I'm actually half hoping for AF just so I know my cycles aren't totally out of sync because of taking the pill. (of course a BFP would be best!)

Sunface - don't know what to suggest except echo BC and say it's still early days and test again later

erm, said i wouldn't test again till friday.. just did another one (god the money i'm spending!!!) and it was BFP and very very clear lines this time!!!!!! Thanks all for listening to my moans and here's hoping for some more BFPs! xx

hello ladies, well after saying to myself i wouldn't POAS early.... i did. not sure of the result??? it was a boots test the 1 with the + sign for a positive. there is a definite horizontal line but very very faint vertical line. hoping i've just tested too early as due on fri..... so will wait till then i think.

For what it's worth, DH and I have decided to sod my work situation and start trying properly this month, just in case it takes a while. This is very exciting!!! Might make things a bit difficult at work, but I've been a model employee for the 3.5 years I've already been working here (only 2 months since my job changed though!) so tbh they can just lump it.

so with that in mind I offer some tasty virtual cupcakes to all the BFP-ers, BFN-ers, and TTC-ers on this wee list! Let's see if we can maintain the good fortune into Feb!

Ghosteditor Thanks for the cupcakes, they were yummy!

I need some serious strength to stop me testing every 5 minutes, even the stupid amount of money the tests cost isn't working at the moment! Was very disappointed I had another BFN this morning, caught it in the wrong light and thought there were two lines for a second but definitely negative. DH keeps trying to cheer me up by saying that I could have had my AF date wrong, which worked until I realised that if I did we didn't SWI on the right days :(

lalabaloo and fluffy happy to wait with you as I need to hold out until end of the week to avoid peeing on any more money and potentially being disappointed by more BFNs! Hoping AF doesn't come in the mean time!

25babalou even a feint vertical line is a line!! Do another test with FMU in the morning or Thurs/Fri and you will hopefully get a stronger result!

caz how are you doing? Did AF arrive?

ohhhhhh 25babalou sounds promising. when i was preg with ds i had a fall out with hubby as i saw the line and he couldnt. he said i was wanting it so much i was imagining it/ in the end i went digital to prove a point lol - well hubby does like his gadgets lol :o

def test again fmu and let us know :)

nothing at all. apart from peeing every two seconds and cant get my bras to fit, they r sooo sore. wateva is delaying my af it must be hormonal

well did a another test with FMU and the line was a lot darker! yay!! but i'm going to get a digital 1 to do in a few days just to be sure. Just want to see it in black nd white pregnant
