Wow, I'm having to resort to notes too. I thought I'd be ok then realised I had another page to go!
Mummya !!! welcome to the ttc list! May your stay so short you have no time to get comfy :)
Whoop Tigger and the extra SWI, good enthusiasm from Mr Tigger too! Grin
Welcome mummyls if you are using ovulation tests next cycle I wouldn't recommend the Amazon cheapies, I only got faint lines and it was quite confusing. Hopefully things will settle down soon
Pissed and pregnant? Nix that's awful surely they can stop them drinking so much?
Welcome back to Internet-land Velvet !!
Hadrian I'm glad you're taking some time, I wish I had, you'll feel so much better for it
funny about delurk, my being a sad Trekkie likes that word :)

I'm back at work today after my cold and everything else going on. Overnight I just had a bit of dark brown when I wiped this morning although I'll be on constant knicker check all day, and probably every day from now on!

Oh yeah, it made me think, the Dr described a MC for me to explain I wasn't having one (I knew at that point as was stopping) but it made me think. I was due for erpc and they gave me the pressary too early and I had a mc while waiting and mustn't have recorded what happened. They said I must have a sensitive cervix, and the Dr last night said it could still be sensitive from erpc. I really hope there's something in that

Anyways sorry for the essay, but I'm done and going to work now so that's me for the day

hadrian · 06/01/2011 08:02

Hurrah for orange and her sensitive cervix! All sounding v positive.

Grin at nix watching pissed and pregnant programme. I studiously avoided a newspaper article yesterday about 500 angry women who got pregnant by accident due to faulty contraceptive...

OrangeGloss · 06/01/2011 09:50

My manager sent me home Blush well, actually drove me home herself bless her. Dh is off ill so now we're both on the sofa!

Wombat33 · 06/01/2011 10:32

Mummya welcome back to TTC!!!! Sooooooooo pleased for you! When will you get the UK consultant's views on your scan? Sounds like you've got good reassurance from your local consultant in the meantime though Grin

Tigger I'm very impressed with your DH's commitment to the cause!! Wink

Welcome to Mummyls, sorry you find yourself here but, in the circumstances, it's the best place to bug. (((Hugs))

Velvet it will be your turn soon!! I'm doing a yoga pose for you Grin

Hello Getawiggle good to see you! Gold star for the shagathon Grin don't give up hope yet, it'snot over 'til the fat lady sings! Any energy left for one more effort this evening?

Hello to YROTB, Kat, Back, Izzy, Nix and anyone else I've missed xxx

Emoo · 06/01/2011 11:02

Goodness gracious me... struggling to keep up!

MummyA - I'm absolutely delighted that you are joining me in moving onto the TTC bit of the list at last - will you hold my hand? And a special hello to my cycle buddies Dachs and Choccy, and Dachs, I hope your follies are wonderful when it gets to collection time.

Cep and mummyls - sorry you are here, but welcome. I agree with others - anything can happen in the WTF cycle... I'm just out of mine, see my chart here. It was a pain in the arse. In summary, BFN eventually on CD21, cycle initially looked as if it was going to be anovulatory, I started spotting/bleeding on CD26 but apparently then ovulated on CD29. Bleeding continued for 3 weeks in total, increasing to normal period amounts by expected period time (worked out from temp rise), total cycle length 40 days. I wouldn't have believed it possible to bleed pre-ovulation, but the temps make me quite confident that this is what happened. I didn't quite get to 20 blood-free days, but still think that this ended up counting as a proper cycle. mummyls - I wonder if you are having either an anovulatory cycle or a wacky one like mine? I would recommend charting. Just understanding what your body is doing makes things slightly less frustrating.

Izzy - hope you are right about the "lucky thread"!

Getawiggleon - I too have been sadly obsessed with magpies. They were right with my DD, always saw them in 3s. They were right with this MC, always seen as singles. DH says it's a time-of-year thing though.

Orange - glad you are at home, and things seem to have settled down. I often wish I had started sooner too. x

AandRMum · 06/01/2011 11:10

ARGHHHHH - I can't keep up!!! Love the new list - warms the cockles of my overly organised heart - which never seems to transfer into reality. Whoever was admiring my clean house - have no fear it is back to its' usual chaos! Tidy lasts about 5 seconds around here.

Orange I am using Pinks positivity plan to visualise you round and contentedly pregnant. Hang in there lovely. Join LadyB under her duvet while I go and make you both an obscenely delish hot chocolate with my naughty Christmas market chocolate (I was meant to give it as a present but decided I needed it more!!!)

Ochaye I need to follow your example and use word first as I can't remember half what I have read and still have two pages to go. The rash of BFPs are so exciting - I completely get the sudden hesitation to pee when you know there is a chance it is positive. I think I like to hold onto the hope for a little bit longer. I think I have ov'd so I am on my 2ww - poor dh had a stonker of cold on the crucial day and I felt like I was flogging a dead horse - hmm strange scrubesque imagery happening in my head.

MummyA welcome aboard - may your stay be short and your dh excitable!!! Dig out those itchy g-strings and sexy suspenders.

AandRMum · 06/01/2011 11:16

How did I miss the ladygarden comment - note to self - must not skim read!!

AandRMum · 06/01/2011 11:26

Okay - if you see me on here again anytime before 6pm - slap me resoundingly with the nearest kipper. Today I start my new business and I seem to be in major procrastination mode!!!! I stayed up until 1am determined to finish off the dress I am making for DD1 as I am going to be buuusssssyyy for the next couple of years months. Hopefully all of this distraction means I won't be too obsessive about TTC.

Wombat33 · 06/01/2011 11:33

Hello Emoo. Hope the magpie theory is not right - saw one this morning, but I did say hello to it just in case... Hmm (Good lord, i'm meant to be an educated, adult woman. Fish slap please!) Grin

A&R Good luck with the new business!!!!!

Emoo · 06/01/2011 11:38

< > for myself, A&R and wombat

Mamapower · 06/01/2011 12:23

Grin Grin at emoo's self inflicted fish slap!!

nickstermum · 06/01/2011 13:16

Grin Grin at A&R flogging the flagging DH Horse specifically for his swimmers at critical time... poor bloke!!!

PinkRabbitFood · 06/01/2011 13:52

aandr what's the new business? Sorry if I've asked before, can't remember!

nix I have introduced DH to the concept of 'sperm snatching' - he seems v. chilled out about the idea!!! :D

youremindmeofthebabe · 06/01/2011 14:36

Hey folks!

FF drew me a line four days ago, but my temps are looking very close to the temps before ovulation. Any opinions? Is it likely to be the horrendous amount of alcohol imbibed on all the days where the pre ov temps are high? BlushBlushBlushor am I having anovulatory? Or am I just worrying about nothing?

Ovulation Chart here is the offending chart

are you all well? I saw your dress andr, it's really sweet. Is this all connected to business venture?

youremindmeofthebabe · 06/01/2011 14:36

Ovulation Chart or here

youremindmeofthebabe · 06/01/2011 14:37

Ovulation Chart final time

AandRMum · 06/01/2011 14:39

... just a shame they can't 'lie back and think of England' when they aren't in the mood! Unfortunately it isn't anywhere near as interesting as MamaP pub (how is that going?) I am writing an Idiot's guide to PPP contract management - the interesting part being that I need come up with ideas that fully utilise the capabilities of the iPad in the way it is presented ... just need to get myself an iPad now!!

youremindmeofthebabe · 06/01/2011 14:51

i will not let this beat me

A mighty haddock for my inability to cut and paste correctly and aandr for being here please!

MummyAbroad · 06/01/2011 15:04

YRMOTB hoorah! that one worked.

I would say ov on day 21 myself. I think FF is using your last/usual ov day as a guide as well as the temps. Have you tried changing the settings to using different detection methods to see what happens (you can switch back to normal mode after)

xxxxxxx

Emoo · 06/01/2011 15:05

Looks quite convincing to me for ovulation, A&R - even if you put your coverline at 97.1 (like last month) - you're still over it, and the majority of your pre-O temps are below it. See what tomorrow brings, I guess. I know alcohol always ups my morning temps. Are you normally fairly regular?

Wombat33 · 06/01/2011 15:07

YROTB I think maybe it's a bit early to otell, but maybe it's got a bit confused by your missing temps pre-ov. If I were drawing the cross-hairs, I might have put your coverline a little bit higher and say you are 3 dpo today not 4. but I'm happy to be shot down by others more knowledgeable than me and might revise my views depending on tomorrow's temp! Grin. Don't think it looks annovulatory yet though so I really wouldn't worry (says the worry queen!!).
