NewImprovedJollster · 05/01/2011 10:56

hello from an old face
popping in to squeeze pretty so hard she faints.

And also to say can't believe you lot are on another thread already - jeez such chatterboxes.

And finally sort your blimmin list out - it's a mess Grin.

jigglebum · 05/01/2011 11:12

Morning ladies - wow this thread moves fast! But I am thrilled to see so much positive news with POAS and scans - hurrah! I felt quite down this morning after my post mc scan, wondering if I wanted to go through it all again but this thread definitely helps me to feel more positive about it all.

Scan went fine - although why do you have to wait with a room full of pregnant women? Made worse by the lady waiting next to me moaning about morning sickness and getting fat - she was waiting for her 12/13 week scan which I was due to have tomorrow so she was due in July like I was. Scan was a bit unpleasant - joys of an internal. Feel my body has been well and truely prodded and poked over the last 2 weeks. Did anyone else suffer the joy of forceps during mc to clear the clots? Still makes me shudder thinking about it and the thing is I had loads more after she did it so not sure it was very effective - just traumatic. anyway scan was clear so we can start TTC if we wish but not feeling very inspired at the moment and DH avoiding me like the plague as so coldy!

Looking forward to hearing more positive scan results and BFPs.

Mamapower · 05/01/2011 11:34

But, now that Jolls has opened the can of worms; I did ask for a vote regarding the list last yr and poor ole Knitter got it in the neck for the tidy up but I would like to make a suggestion (because it is ridiculous); at the start of every new thread how about we just do a roll call???? or any other useful suggestions out there????

Mamapower · 05/01/2011 11:37

x-posts Jiggle sorry about the scan, I had the same thing, surrounded by pg women, it's not very sensitive is it! On the upside, that'll be you soon hon, chin up and as soon as you feel up to it and dh has stopped avoiding your snotty self, jump right back in there and get SWI Grin

NewImprovedJollster · 05/01/2011 11:42

MamaP... good on ya! You can take Cheepz off, she's having a break from insanity TTC. But get all those BFPs down on the grads list. And tidy up the CD order. And... Jollster thinks she's said enough Grin. But seriously, I didn't know what the expression "makes my teeth itch" meant before I looked at the list...

nickstermum · 05/01/2011 11:51

Forceps during MC, good god jiggles what did you do in a previous life to deserve that pleasure?!

jollster it does need a bit of a tidy up but listjiggling i think is strictly forbidden at the minute!! No one is quite ready to grad, and we have lots of new bfps which are 'fresh and new' bfps

I did suggest we had a waiting to grad list, but.....Grin oh well we will just have to be known as 'that really busy thread, with the messy list!' Grin

PinkRabbitFood · 05/01/2011 12:00
Grin

jiggle urgh waiting with preggy people is bleak eh? Still, fingers crossed, next time we're in that scan waiting room we'll be at 12 weeks (or 16 weeks in my case, you don't even get booked in with a midwife here until 12.....), although I swear I'm never going to complain about any pregnancy related ailment EVER. By the way, SNAP on the forceps - they did it when I went back after 3 weeks still spotting and feeling a bit odd, turns out the lump they pulled out was basically blocking the other stuff from coming out so bled like craaaazy for a couple of days again afterwards but then got BFN within a couple of weeks, so was glad they did it really. They sent the bit of stuff they pulled out to the lab - apparently it was 'almost entirely necrotic villi', and apparently that's normal!!!

Controversial idea: rename 'grads' as 'BFPs'. Tidies list and removes mental block of being a 'grad'. Simples. I'm just playing devil's advocate really though, as couldn't actually care less as long as one day I actually make it onto the magical bottom list...... Oh pleeeeeasssseeeee let it be sooooooooonnnnnnnn

PinkRabbitFood · 05/01/2011 12:03

By the way, roll call is good idea and put everyone who doesn't come back in a couple of days into MIA so they haven't gone all together.

DachshundsWantPuppies · 05/01/2011 12:44

Yay bee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Had another scan this morning - there are still lots of follies but they aren't growing very well so they're a lot smaller than they wanted them to be by now. They've increased my drug dose and are now saying egg collection likely to be Wed or Fri next week rather than Mon/Tue

Another scan on Friday, we'll see what they say then. Was feeling REALLY positive, now feeling fairly bummed out... :(

At least DH is being really snuggly - he was supposed to be seeing some mates he hasn't seen for ages the weekend after next, but he has voluntarily cancelled it without me even asking him to because he knows it's now likely that I will either be waiting for embryo transfer or just have had it and he knows I'll want him to be around to look after me!

PrettyVacant1 · 05/01/2011 12:52

Beeeeeeeeeeeee!
WHOOOOP!
Made up for you Sweets! Smile

Grin Grin Grin Grin
Jolls
You funny!
Fanks for the squishes too.
Thank-you all for your best wishes.

I'm 6+3 so a loooong way to go but trying to keep positive.

LoveBeingADaddysGirl · 05/01/2011 13:03

Owl and pretty I am so pleased for you Grin

Emo - my dh doesn't get it sometimes, he said the other day he thinks I am pg, saying it once is one thing but he kept going on and on.

LoveBeingADaddysGirl · 05/01/2011 13:06

Dach bless your dh

clareanna · 05/01/2011 13:28

popping on to say hurrah for ladybee pretty and owl - delighted for you!

Wombat33 · 05/01/2011 13:32

Oh Dachs, I'm sorry today's scan wasn't more positive news but fingers crossed the new doose brings better news on Friday xxx

Pink I think a BFP list or maybe as Nix suggests a 'Waiting to grad' list would be good.
