Sorry to hear you're feeling down auntied it takes a lot of strength to separate what YOU want to what other people get. I try and remember that when I hear other pregnancy/scan announcements. It's not their bfp/pregnancy/baby I want, it's my own.

Temp is up a bit today (but not by much compared to this time last week) and cervix is closing, so if it continues to go up over the next few days, FF may change it's mind and put yesterday as ovulation (CD20 is much more likely for me). So I am putting myself in a 1dpo frame of mind. Hopefully acupuncture this lunchtime will keep my temps nice and high.

Hi ladies, I am feeling less violent today and looking forward to AF being gone by Thursday so I can enjoy my spa stay at Hoar Cross Hall (salivating at the thought of it already!) I will have to deal with pg SiL (on her 3rd child, all conceived within 8 weeks of 'trying' ) but am hoping she's in bed early so I can drink wine and chat with my MiL.

Franjam sorry you've been got too, sucks doesn't it? I always find CD1 really hard, no matter if I'm expecting it or not. It hadn't got any easier the longer we've been trying so I just rely on the fact that CD2 is a bit easier, then CD3 easier still until I'm back into the excitement of watching for ovulation and the 2WW! No wonder TTC sends us so loopy.

Auntie sorry you are feeling so down, I really know how horrible it is to feel envious of a friend or relative. It will be your turn soon and then your baby will have lovely cousins to make friends with. (((hugs))) Also re: HK, I have read that the timing is only useful when you sleep and wake at similar times regularly, although I wake at different times a lot I do tend to sleep for similar lengths. So I no longer record the times on my chart as FF would highlight temps that were perfectly in keeping with the cycle, because of a later waking time. This is usually when I had a late night so woke late the next morning. In a long winded way, I am suggesting you continue to temp but not record times for the next cycle!

Raven am keeping my fingers crossed for the last of my cycle buddies this month! Hope is was a teeny weeny positive instead of an evap line. (although I can't offer any experience as I've never seen even the hint of a line, at least nothing there to mess with my delicate TTC brain )

Thanks everyone - still no AF. Went out and bought 2 CB digitals today (Christ, they are pricey!) so will pee on one of those tomorrow if AF still hasn't arrived.

Glad you are feeling a bit better truffkin. Grr to SiL. I am convinced some of these people play down the TTC bit (or lie!) when they talk about length of TTC or extent to which it was an accident. We all know it isn't that easy!

Well apparently I'm 5dpp but I'm still not convinced after I had lines on opk cd14/15/16 but none before (15 being the dark lines)

No news here, now 7-8 dpo so expecting temp drop and spotting from anytime now. At least it looks as though I may beat my record short cycle from last month (24 days).!

raven, I?m very excited for your test tomorrow. I?ve never had an evap line, its always been BFP or completely blank (even when I?ve fished it out of the bin hours later). I think a line after only 15 minutes sounds very hopeful.

It has been a truly spectacularly shitty day but it is better now I am home. DH is fabulous. Just consistently loving and gentle with me. It's what I need!

No AF yet. Think she is due tomorrow. Maybe the floods of tears were partly hormonal!

After your MC if you OV-ed in that cycle:

• how long was your LP
• how long was your LP before the MC?

terrys before my 3rd mc my lp was 14-15 days. My last cycle post-mc was 12-13 days. Wasn't temping before 2nd mc but I always thought it was around 2 weeks. So a slight change, but nothing I'm worried about. If lp was really short I'd probably get back on the agnus castus.
I think you asked a q about temp ranges shifting after mc - mine are lower, but it's nothing to worry about and is probably seasonal.

Well, temp jump for me my chart, BUT BFN on CB digital and on internet cheapie. I am really .

I was so sure it would be a BFP after my temp jump and checking the FR from yesterday when I got home from work and seeing a very definate faint PINK line. Those CB digi's wouldn't give me a false negative at 14DPO would they? Just hoping nothing is wrong with me.

What do you guys make of it?

My theories are:

• I am not pg, FF got my ov date wrong and am actually only 12DPO and I will get AF tomorrow (...althought my temps usually drop significantly on 12DPO not rise)
• FF got ov date wrong, I am only 12DPO, I am pg but it is too early to tell and/ or I am one of those women who doesn't get a positive test until much later
• Something is wrong - like eptopic or fertility problem (scared!)

Iwish you haven't recorded any +OPKs, did you get positives on cd 14-16?

oh pants. think i might be eggulating early this month and not enough swi has occurred.

can't link cos I'm on my phone, but this morning's temp has dipped right down like it normally does at ov time. i had to take it a wee bit early as i was up with DS again, had a good sleep before temp though.

didn't even swi last night as we had a tiny argument and DH was in a huff. was going to pounce this morning when i saw temp, didn't actually get DS back to bed till getting up time though. :(

hope everyone else is doing better at swi coordination this month!

there was a good post about stats for bfps on different tests on here, it is still possible that it's a false neg i think.

everything crossed that that's the case or ff got your day wrong.

Hi Raven I'm sorry you didn't get a BFP. I'm no chart expert but from what I've seen and read of them yours looks really promising. I'm hoping it's a little too early for you to get a BFP and that everything is ok.

As for me, was hoping I would get a big temp rise today but it's only up a little. This is my first temp chart and I'm worried about it, should I be? Or could I still OV? Thanks for looking x

I didn't put the opk results on my chart as positive as the darkest lines which were on cd15 weren't as dark as the control line so I couldnt record as +ve. Also got weak lines on cd14/16/17.

mslk you could still OV, you may just be having a longer cycle this month, don't worry too much x

iwish I have been doing OPKs for about 6 months and like you I don't get textbook positives - my lines are never as dark or darker than the control line. What I saw over time though was a pattern for me. I would get no line atall (the familiar BFN style!) for the first couple, then a v v v faint line that only some human eyes can detect, to a line but very faint, to faint with a slight darker edge, to very faint, to invisible etc etc. As OPK is detecting a surge in LH hormone I could see that there was an increasing then decreasing pattern for me. So now I record my lines with a darker (although still not dark enough edge) as positives. I think everyone is different and if you are using the cheap OPKs like me they aren't all that sophisticated.

From what you say you also saw a similar pattern, peaking at CD15. If you record than on your chart as a positive OPK does your chart change?

Oh FFS I officially give up on attempting to take charge of my fertility. I haven't got a bloody clue. I'm going to stop looking at my chart till my af turns up. It's too stressful.

The same thing happened last cycle and FF said I ov'd the day after my darkest line which I thought would happen this month but my cd16 temp is unreliable as I went out and had a few drinks and a rubbish sleep on cd15. I seem to get the same as you, mine are cheap opks and got a v light line on cd14, darker on cd15, v light on cd16 and barely visible on cd17.

I know it's hard for you to forget about it, hope you feel a bit better x

OMFG (and I don't often swear) AIBU to be totally and utterly pissed off and angry at SIL's (whose house we were staying at over christmas when I had my MC) text this morning: "are you pregnant yet"?!!?
