At least it's almost New Year, new start Smile

OP posts:
Iwish · 17/01/2011 14:42

I was thinking about mood enhancers digi just wasn't sure if it was safe when ttc. I know it's not his fault if hes not in the mood bless him but it's do frustrating knowing I'm missing out on a vital day possibly. Last month was a doddle but this one is proving harder. Glad I can talk to you girls as you know exactly whet I'm going through and are so helpful :).
You look to have done lots of SWIing so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you anyway.

Hi karbea. Get lots of SWI in before he goes and hopefully there should be enough swimmers up there ready and waiting for the little eggy :)

franjam · 17/01/2011 14:50

Just a quick update as I'm at work and about to go into a meeting - still no sign of AF and there normally would be by now....a few cramps and really sore boobs still....
Is it wishful thinking that the dip in temp is anything other than AF arriving??
Hope you're all well and glad that this miserable Monday is nearly over Grin

Truffkin · 17/01/2011 16:12

The most depressing day of the year has brought AF for a visit. CD1 again for me, here's to my 8th chart being the lucky one....

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 17/01/2011 16:23

Happy birthday for yesterday battery hope you had a lovely day!

truffkin sorry this wasn't your month Sad hope you're ok.

digi that is a confusing chart! Tbh I'm not sure what to make of it, so would suggest you keep up the swi and I'm sure it'll all become clear over the next few days.

iwish I know exactly what you mean about it all being a chore, and wanting to give up. The last two months for us were like that and it does get miserable. This month has been better, I think partly because I'm trying to take a more chilled out attitude to it; if we don't feel like it one night, it won't kill us to miss it. However taking the pressure off dh seems to mean that's we've done it more this month, not less, so I'm going to try and keep going with that attitude (let's see how long it lasts! Grin )

ravenlocks looking good!

franjam keeping my fx for some good news from your direction....

Iwish · 17/01/2011 18:12

izzy i have tried to be a little more relaxed for the last few months, started SWI a bit later too lol. It is so easy to get upset about it but you ladies are all successfully cheering me up! :)
I hope its your month Izzy, you have done lots of SWI this month, im impressed!

Franjam keepinh FX for you, glad AF hasnt shown up yet.

Truffkin Sorry AF arrived :( ((Hugs)) have a nice glass of wine and a sulk xx

spilttheteaagain · 17/01/2011 18:28

terrys I see FF has decided you are right and it is CD21 Smile

MrsP81 · 17/01/2011 19:12

Hello all. I am back after a bit of sulking. CD3 sounds so much better than CD1. There?s so much to catch up on but I?ll do my best!

Sorry that AF got you too tory. The thought of you eating your hat did make me smile. Smile

Welcome to newgold.

Happy birthday for yesterday battery, hope you had a lovely day.

Fingers crossed for franjam and raven and everyone else in the 2ww. I think there are quite a lot of you!

Hugs to iwish, sorry you?re feeling down at the moment. Chilling out is easier said than done isn?t it?!

And sorry that AF got you too truffkin.

Hope somebody else gets a BFP soon, its exciting!

Must go and make the dinner??.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 17/01/2011 20:05

Sorry to be brief. Stupidly busy at work and home.
Crap w/end - rows with DP but made it up (though some were in front of DD :( )
Trying to take HSBC to court over messing up our re-mortgage and on top of that both DP and I are away working lots.

Luckily, it doesn't seem to clash with ov times.

Sorry to those who are on early cycle days and fingers x for those on 2ww.

I am cd 18 but no EWCM yet. We have started swi every other day so far. Will link chart soon. DD shouting.

mslk · 17/01/2011 20:08

Evening ladies, please may I join? Been lurking for a few days Blush

I'm on cycle 3 ttc #1. I didn't do any charting the first cycle and last cycle I just did OPK's. My BBT thermometer arrived part way through this cycle so I've been temping.

I had a faint 2nd line on my OPK Saturday, evener fainter yesterday and today it was back to being faint so I'm really not sure where I'm at. Thoughts on my chart much appreciated if anyone fancies looking, might not be much to see though.

Iwish I made it here, and like you my DH doesn't have a high sex drive. He's doing his best though, I'm just not sure I can persuade him to DTD again tonight.

Sorry for the very long post x

TerrysNo2 · 17/01/2011 20:08

spilt, you stalker you Wink I put in a fake temp to get it to change to CD21, I wasn't convinced by its "because you discarded a temp we will use an average of day before and day after" All other signs point to CD21, and tbh I am surprised (and frankly a little disappointed Wink) at FF not picking this up.

tory sorry about AF, drink lots of wine, soft cheese and then come back to us.

Not sure about your chart Izzy* could be CD17, 18 or 19 Confused

MrsP I think each CD after AF is easier, then OV date gets a bit will I won't I stressy, once you have your coverline its relaxing for a few days at that success and then by 6/7dpo we're back onto stressing!! Grin

spilt any news on a scan for you?

TerrysNo2 · 17/01/2011 20:14

How on earth did that all go bold before Izzy - that must be an MN glitch as I only did 2 asterixes!!

franjam · 17/01/2011 20:31

Evening all!

Truffkin - sorry that AF turned up Sad. Hope you are commiserating with your favourite drink Smile. I'm pretty sure I'll be in the same position tomorrow.

MrsA - hope you and your DP are ok now, arguments are never nice!

MrsP - thanks for the crossed fingers! How are things going for you?

Iwish and Izzy - thanks for the crossed fingers and positive thoughts!

Still no AF but there's probably 101 reasons why the evil witch isn't here yet lol! I'll keep you all posted once I get into work tomorrow and update my chart!

franjam · 17/01/2011 20:35

(PS - got major wave of nausea this afternoon, lasted about half an hour and then went and has been a bit on and off for the rest of the evening....Confused)

Iwish · 17/01/2011 21:04

Welcome Mslk! Glad you made it here ok, put your feet up and join the gossiping :)
Yep im going to persuade DP to do some more SWI tonight too, only because im not convinced i OV'd on cd14.

MrsP nice to see you back, cd3 is a little better isnt it, not long now and you be back SWI! and no chilling out is not easy lol.

Hi MrsA glad you and your DP have made up, its awful when you argue isnt it, especially when ttc, doesnt do much for the sexy atmosphere lol. Hope your little eggy turns up soon.

Big wave to everyone else Grin. going to watch one born every minute, very fitting i suppose

batteryhen · 17/01/2011 21:14

Hello everyone - I have not had time to stalk any charts or to read back lots.So can I just give a big wave to everyone xx

Work is mad busy - one of my lovely friends who is 10 weeks pg called me today to ask how I was getting on and I nearly started sobbing down the phone. Think it is a combination of just being busy, DP not here, don't think I stand a chance this month etc etc

Am also going to watch born every minute - lets see how depressed I can really get.

spilttheteaagain · 17/01/2011 21:15

terrys yup I have booked a scan for next Tuesday morning now, so everything crossed that it is a good one.

Sorry you've had such a crappy time MrsA, sounds like lots of horrible stresses all at once.

And welcome to MrsLK Smile

jaggythistle · 17/01/2011 21:15

still not too exciting chart here

Thought my chart was a bit weird as temp lower today, but looking at the overlay, it's actually my wonky high temps due to lack of sleep which are weird.

Got what can only be described as a big bogey of EWCM today (sorry Blush ) had already decided to start OPKs today. Did OPK, went to give DS his tea, forgot and found dried up stick 2 hours later. D'oh.

Eep, forgot One Born every Minute, had it recording, so away to subject DH to me greeting at it!

weimy · 17/01/2011 21:56

Hi all!

welcome mslk!

No news here just emotional, spotty and windy (have been making my own soups and over did it on the pulses).

xxxxxxxxxxxxx

ochaye · 17/01/2011 21:58

Ahhhhhhh ... One Born Every Minute. I love it! My DH won't watch it with me though so I have it saved for a rainy day Smile. It makes me a bit sad though because I was offered a place to go and study midwifery this year but I had to turn it down for financial reasons.

Big waves to all of you.

My temp was way down today so back to a cycle of nothingness again.

tory79 · 17/01/2011 22:22

Getdown I think you said that noticed a real difference using EPO? What doseage were you taking if you don't mind me asking? I bought 500mg tablets and it says 1-2 a day on the bottle, but when I googled using it to help you conceive it seemed to be recommending taking around 1500mg!

Does a lazy wave to everyone else.... Grin

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 17/01/2011 22:24

Welcome MsLK Join in the banter!

Franjam getting a bit excited for you.

Spilt hope it all goes well next wk.

And I always sky+ One Born Every Minute and everytime end up shouting at the tv and having a cry. Won't bring the thread down but almost 2.5 yrs on from DD's birth, I still get angry about the experience.
Won't bore you here (and digi's heard it too many time) but I find it hard to move on.

AuntieDoris · 17/01/2011 22:33

Feeling a little bit sad tonight. My younger sister is due another scan tomorrow and I expect she will find out what sex her baby is. I think I can cope if she is having a boy, but suspect if she is having a girl I will have a complete and utter meltdown. Is that weird?

Fucking typical, my period is due the day she is due a scan. :(

Here is my chart, for what's it's worth. I expect AF to visit any day. cry

franjam · 17/01/2011 22:37

AuntieD - I don't think you have a reason to cry just yet, your chart still looks promising to me!!
I am also expecting AF any day now....we can always have a bevvie together IF she catches us Smile

Keep smiling, tomorrow is another day and another temp...

Pippaandpolly · 17/01/2011 22:43

You know Auntie, even though you're down today, the general trend is still upwards since DPO 9. I don't know whether that means anything but maybe...

I hope your sister's scan goes well for her and isn't too traumatic for you. Every time a friend has a baby or announces their pregnancy I want to fucking punch them cry. And I'm nice normally. If at all possible, smile for her and then come on here and tell us about it. Big hug.

AuntieDoris · 17/01/2011 22:44

It's made slightly easier by the fact that we don't live anywhere near each other. It's not made any easier by the fact that it feels she gets everything I want! God, I sound like such a bitch!
