Had an mc and need some wine, chocolate and somewhere to moan and cry? This is the place to be! We chat a LOT so it can be hard to keep up, but everyone on here is great and will hold your hand until you get your BFP.

cant sleep, have to be up early anyway!! Chocks there is a FF app (whoop) and you can sync to the website. It seems to be a little more reliable than the ptracker software etc...have used both. Chocks... great on the temps very empowering!! Am very happy about it chocks but still have very few symptoms so hpoefully they will start to develop soon x

Emoo.. i did think that,... but it was the whoo that threw me! On the right lines wiht the bird strain!! Oh you funny girl!!

Ruudy, great you have an obliging DH!

DontEatOrangeSnow · 02/12/2010 06:54

emoo and hairy thanks for your help, I think I'll carry on OPKing for another week and see what happens. I'll just have to resist the urge to test early if I don't get another positive Hmm

I'm having acupuncture next Tuesday on the offchance it helps, though I don't think a oneoff is quite the theory/spirit behind it Confused

AandR what a good DH!

nix I hope MK goes ok, and no stress at all

It would be so nice to get a BFP for Xmas, but I know it's my first cycle, and DH away when FF says I'll be OV :(

IzzyWizzyletsgetChristmassy · 02/12/2010 07:22

Morning all - well, I think you can safely take those suspenders off: looks like it's all downhill from here

I am completely a bit gutted tbh, even though I was always trying to be realistic I couldn't help getting my hopes up, especially with my temps going up again and lp extending to a normal length. Plus this was the last go before Christmas and due date, which is going to be tough. This must be the first year I have been absolutely dreading Christmas, which I then feel bad about from DCs' point of view. I don't want to be just "trying to get through" it, I want to be enjoying it with them Xmas Sad

BUT enough of the self-pity, there are loads of positives about this cycle - normal ov time, decent lp. And I do have a lovely bottle of wine chilling in the fridge for Friday night Xmas Smile

IzzyWizzyletsgetChristmassy · 02/12/2010 07:25

mouse I didn't see you yesterday - how did the cremation go? (it was yesterday wasn't it?). I hope you got through it ok - I remember ours was very very sad but very beautiful, and it did help a little. Hope you're ok x

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 02/12/2010 07:33

Ah izzy (((((((hugs)))))))) I really thought this was your month babes x it's not over til the red witch sings! Sorry it's not what you wanted bans :(

Mouse. I hope you were ok yesterday and it somehow gave you a sense of peace x

MummyBellsAllTheWay · 02/12/2010 08:42

Izz I agree with nix that its not all over yet, ( half a suspender still on) but I do like FF for the early warning preparation it allows you, looks like it could go either way, have you had any more spotting? Big hugs for the upcoming due date. I think I have said it before but I found the weeks before worse than the day itself, so you really need to be extra kind to yourself now and look for that bit of extra support in RL too. I know how lovely a christmas BFP would be for you, but if you don't get it perhaps you can take comfort from the idea that the baby you lost deserves to be grieved for rather than be "replaced". getting pregnant will be lovely but it won't take away your sadness over your lost baby if you haven't grieved properly. Also you have more chance of enjoying your new pregnancy if it can be seen as a separate event and not part of the healing process. I hope after your due date has gone you will feel like I did, that the grieving time has finished and you can move on and look forward to better times.xxx

orange no problem, it is impossible to keep up with all people all the time on this thread!

nix Xmas Grin at 6000 mile long willy! One day at a time is a great philosophy, your mum talks sense. I am getting distracted and worried by twinges too, let's ignore them together! Smile

DachshundAntlersRule · 02/12/2010 08:43

Sorry izzy

I have a question for you girls: Firstly how do you do the santa hats? And second - how come you lot already know how to do it and I don't?!?!?!?!?!?!?

scrolls down the page further, sees how to do the santa smileys and then feels even more stupid...

Dachs put an f (for festive) in front of normal words ie [ fgrin ] without the gaps of course!

owlbooty · 02/12/2010 12:07

Sorry for long absence, lovelies. MS made me go a bit loopy and I had to leave. Am back, briefly, as wanted to tell you I have FINALLY got a bfp :)

Things that I did that probably made no difference:

grapefruit juice
brazil nuts
preseed
lying with legs in air
etc etc etc

Things that I did that probably did help:

No booze
CBFM
Epic amount of shagging.

Tis early days yet and I am petrified. But I know you will all understand that, out of anyone on here.

Hugs to all :) Nix top news, missus, am v chuffed for you :)

youremindmeofthebaubles · 02/12/2010 12:10

Bloody hell. All these bfp's in time for Christmas.Smile Excellent news owl

orestyemerrywombat · 02/12/2010 12:18

Morning lovely ladies. Sorry about the temp drop Izz. I got the same this morning so am expecting AF to rock up on time tomorrow Xmas Sad. Still, I'm with Dachs in looking forward to a spot of Christmas boozing this weekend Xmas Grin. Have absolutely no idea what's going on with me though. Post MC I've had two scans, urine tests and swabs and been told everything is fine, but I'm still getting the achey type pains I had when I MCed and, I know it has only been three months, but compared to last time (I was super lucky and got pg after a week of trying) I can't help feeling that something is still worng. It's making me panic that the MC has somehow done something to me to make me less able to conceive. I need some calming down as I'm really beginning to worry myself silly Blush

Hi to MummyB, Nix, Orange, Choccy, Kat, Turkey, A&R, Hairy and Lady.

orestyemerrywombat · 02/12/2010 12:22

Cross-posts CONGRATS Owl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And hello YYMOTB

MamaChristmas · 02/12/2010 12:35

Congratulations Owl Xmas Smile

Velvetstocking · 02/12/2010 12:39

Congrats Owl

Wombat I'm the same - got pg so easily and now it seems its gonna be hard!

Looks like I'm in for a longer cycle this month - still not ov'd but seems like there might be a pattern to my cycles - 30ish days, then 35 ish then 40 ish then back to 30 again.

Anyone get sore boobs around ov time - mine areally hurting! Also had a big temp drop yesterday.

Choccy I use FF on my phone - I do my temp while im peeing in the morning and enter it straight into my phone then.

orestyemerrywombat · 02/12/2010 13:18

Velvet I get sore boobs anythime from ov onwards and usually get a temp drop just before ov (or just before I get my LH surge anyway).

Really struggling today. I know it's mostly just pre-AF blues (even told DH last night that I would prob be grumpy today :) ) but UCK. All I want is a baby. Surely it's not too much to ask. I'll be a good mum. Promise.

snowysunchild · 02/12/2010 13:45

Aww Congratulations OWL FANTASTIC news!! :)
Of course we understand your nerves owl don't be a stranger :)

Just gotta get in there with huge huge HUGE squishy hugs for all the slightly Envy ones out there that wish the BFP was their ((me included)) wombat velvet dachs and everyone else who lurks here...

Hang in their lovelies!

No poas here although I'm desperate to!! None to take in the house..I also have loads of probably imaginary pg symptoms. Sore boobs, crampy tummy etc etc. Dunno what to do, wait until CD28 then test? or test early??? Ahhh!

snowysunchild · 02/12/2010 13:53

gosh my spelling is bad today. there and theirs respectively Wink

MummyBellsAllTheWay · 02/12/2010 14:01

Bit barfy, MummyB - btw am super-pleased you were able to get to the UK for your op and that it went well.

Can't really move me to the grads list as I wasn't on the other list; I shall lurk quietly for a bit and see if it all goes wrong. :)

Scrap that last post of mine. Im out of the game.

I can't face this anymore. I am sapped of positivity. Please delete me from the list completely. Might come back sometime, but not for a while Sad

orestyemerrywombat · 02/12/2010 17:29

Oh Snowy big big hugs xxx Come back whenever you feel ready (I think quite a few of us have taken a break of just a couple of days even, then come back). We'll be thinking of you in the meantime xxx

IzzyWizzyletsgetChristmassy · 02/12/2010 17:38

((( sunchild ))) I feel your pain, I'm out too this month Sad. Every cycle I keep trying to be positive, think of it as a new start etc, but the truth is it's just fucking shit.

I'm fed up with trying to conceive, I DID conceive, I should be having my baby in three weeks not still bloody trying.

Sorry for the dismal attitude, I'm off to vanish into a pit of self-pity and wine tonight, sunchild if you or anyone else would care to join me, feel free.
