In what must be the quickest time ever (about 4 mins all told) we saw a fetus with a nice, strong heartbeat!

Cannot believe it - I saw the smile on the nurse's face before I dared look but it is definately good news. Still won't feel 100% until 12 weeks but for now I can relax a little. I'd really like the bleeding to bugger off now.

pink everyone leaves the office at lunch time on Xmas Eve so I'm booked on a train at 12.18. I just hope the trains are running!

(So far this week on the way into work all my fast trains have been cancelled and I've had to get a stopper which takes more than twice as long. It's not been a good week so far!)

Had a letter from the consultant at the IVF clinic telling us that we could start a new round on my next cycle but it went on to state that it's unlikely to work as my eggs are very low quality. Feeling really great after that.

Am feeling totally and utterly shit today for no apparent reason. I'm guessing maybve because I'm now 'waiting' instead of being able to actually do something that might help. I feel like I got it all wrong this cycle, not sure what my body's doing, still worried things aren't right, made poor DH SWI every day for a week except the day it actually looks like I oved, so probably no swimmers left by the time the egg hatched (if it did), and I have an awful feeling that one of the people I'm going away with for new year is going to annouce she pg while we're there and I'm not sure I can cope. :(

Sorry for being so grunpy especially when other are having a much harder time of it right now, I'm just having one of those days.
