Had an mc and need some wine, chocolate and somewhere to moan and cry? This is the place to be! We chat a LOT so it can be hard to keep up, but everyone on here is great and will hold your hand until you get your BFP.

izzy I'm so sorry-I'd forgotten about your due date :( my thoughts are with you, I hope you're being looked after.

dachs I've also found out that some colleagues' wives have been through similar, one of them in particular had a particularly tough time with miscarriage and ivf, which is how I got the recommendation for the private consultant. Good news is that they now have a beautiful 2 week old baby girl :)

Aw Dachs better out than in, I reckon. When I told my boss about the mc it transpired she'd had two herself - both that and ivf seem to be so common and so little is said about either. Hope you are feeling a bit more chipper now you have your shiny guiltPad

Dachs problems seem amazingly common once you start talking to people. I told a friend about my mc and she confessed that she'd had three :( But on the upsidie she now has two lovely girls.

Ok ladies, RTD arrived, as predicted Am gutted. Was about to update the list but not sure whether to count this as another MC - seeing as I was pg for a grand total of between one and three days this time it seems like a bit of a pisstake to call it one but it certainly emotionally feels like one because like a total nob, I allowed myself to get excited . Roll on 2011, I so hope it's better than this year.....

Oh Pink. Huge squishy hugs for you my lovely. I'm so so sorry. Don't beat yourself up for getting excited. We would all be exactly the same and we all understand that you'll need to grieve for this loss too. If there is any consolation at all, maybe it is that your body will get over a CP more quickly than a MC. I hope early 2011 brings you a sticky bean xxx

Dachs wow to guilt ipads! Not sure where I'm going wrong in my DH training here... Agree with others that once you open up about miscarriage/infertility you definitely find it is more common that you expect. I have been surprised by some people who appear to be popping out babies without a second thought actually haven't had it that easy when you speak to them about it.

so far, so not-too-bad, we've been busy though, took ds to do his 50m swimming this morning (go, ds!) and this afternoon we're making candle decorations as grandparent pressies and doing sky lanterns if the weather holds. DH either hasn't remembered or isn't mentioning it, which is a bit weird....

dachs sorry about the meltdown although sometimes it's just better to let it out. I agree it's amazing and sad how many people have been affected by infertility and miscarriage, once you start talking about it

I quite like tha apps for kids baublebabe. Ds always uses my phone for Thomas games, dressing and undressing angelina ballerina which ishis fav !! News apps, tesco, and the list goes on!!

Pink Big hugs hon. Im on Day 3 so we're pretty much cycle buddies for the first new year cycle and since I can't seem to actually stick to my attempt to ''forget'' about it (ttc)'' and just ''let nature take it's course and stop stressing'', I may as well stop my pathetic attempt to lurk and just stick around a bit, at least you lot keep me sane! Oh and pink as both of us were due in Jan I would really like it if we could be blessed with a little bean each next cycle please... someone let the stork know me and Pink would be v grateful

Sorry I didn't get a chance to let you all know I am off on hols, family arrived,DS got my horrible flu bug and we all struggled off to the beach. DS is better now and we are all enjoying the sun.

Next time somebody does the list will you drop me down to the bottom, even though spotting hasn't turned into a 'proper' full AF I am still going to count yesterday as CD1 as turned red then (sorry TMI)I also had PMT so think it is a proper AF just a Light one as its only been 17days since the last one!

Good news though, Dr has agreed to refer me to Gynae so hopefully will get some answers, not that I will get any help with FT as I have 2 dcs already (both conceived privately with IUI & IVF, but last PG was natural!)it still might help get cycles back on track which in turn would help with TTC IYSWIM

Pink I'm really sorry to hear that pal. I'd been lurking hoping to see some good news from you. Of course its going to hurt no matter how early, its only natural to get excited regardless of what's gone before. Take care of yourself -- and you too Izzy. Men are wired totally differently, I often had to explain my feelings and relevance of days to a bemused DH.
