Had an mc and need some wine, chocolate and somewhere to moan and cry? This is the place to be! We chat a LOT so it can be hard to keep up, but everyone on here is great and will hold your hand until you get your BFP.

GetDownYouWillFall · 07/12/2010 20:42

thanks for asking after me ladies Smile I am ok, just got through my WTF cycle - 35 days but a normal LP which was a relief.

A weird AF though. 7 days of bright red bleeding (normally only get 4 at the most) but thankfully seems to be easing off a bit now.

Hope you are all doing ok.

DontEatOrangeSnow · 07/12/2010 21:55

Thanks wombat I must admit I'm finding exercise a struggle at the mo!

MummyB that gives me hope, I think I need to be optimistic otherwise I'll just worry

Welcome mamafoof and jules sorry you've had to find yourself here and hope you have a short stay Xmas Grin

My friend rang me at work today to tell me how her baby was doing and ask how ttc was going :( perhaps not the best conversation to have on work phone

Accupuncture went well Xmas Grin she advised me to take my Tongue piercing out, so that's gone after to years! Feel very relaxed and sleepy

Sorry or no better catchup so sleepy but shows it relaxed me

ChoccybicksXmasShortbread · 07/12/2010 22:43

Waves to everyone

dAncerandRudolfsMum · 07/12/2010 22:58

Can everyone send positive vibes my way tomorrow? I am off to talk with some people about a new business venture. Very scary/exciting - no idea how house building, pregnancy (fx) and a new business would work but it is the perfect combine with DCs type work.

kat2504 · 07/12/2010 23:51

Good luck tomorrow! what is your new business idea? It sounds ideal and I hope it all goes very well, look forward to hearing news!

MummyBellsAllTheWay · 08/12/2010 00:53

Hope it gets there in time!xxx

dAncerandRudolfsMum · 08/12/2010 09:41

Thanks Kat and MummyB It isn't anything as exciting as buying a pub like MamaC* but it is working alongside a company I really admire, translating ppp contracts into business flow charts online so project managers can take control of the contract rather than being reliant on lawyers to interpret everything for them. Best thing is large parts of it can be done from home! Off to do last minute research.

Hope the handbag shopping is going well Izzy and DD is feeling better!

Choccky saw you stalker photo on bf!! Your plans sound great!

MamaChristmas · 08/12/2010 10:07

Fingers crossed Rudolf, hope the meeting goes well Xmas Smile

The CB OPK Smiled at me this morning Xmas Grin and [TMI Alert], there was a fabulous showing of pant snot to boot, in fact it was seriously impressive, best yet! I just text DH and told him to get ready for lots of action tonight Xmas Grin Xmas Grin wish me luck girls cause we agreed last night that all this bloody SWI is ruining our sex life by taking away the spontaneity! Then when you add on top the fact that as soon as the deed is done I swing round with legs against the wall for an hour... not exactly romantic or sexy so we agreed to not SWI for Jan, Feb and March and start again in April... perhaps with the pressure off we'll just have a happy accident! Anyway, let's see what this cycle brings first!

Nix Glad you are not getting the dreaded sickness yet.

Choccy Yes, yes I saw you stalking Take That!! hee hee! I just want two things for Christmas, a ticket for that concert and a bean and if someone could let Father Christmas know that I have been extraordinarily good and I deserve them that would be great Xmas Grin!!

Hope you all have a good day Xmas Smile

orestyemerrywombat · 08/12/2010 10:17

Ooh A&R good luck with the meeting and MamaC good luck with the SWI (any news on the new pub?)!! Thanks for the tea and biscuits Mummybells - just what I needed for breakfast :) Hello Kat and Tunnocks and Choccy and Getdown and all those I haven't greeted in a while. Glad the accu went well Orange. Am trying to psych myself up to find a therapist myself in the hope it may help BUT am terrified of needles, so may be counter-productive Xmas Hmm. Glad DS feeling a bit better Nix. Any nausea yet?

Dachs - if you're out there, how are you getting on?

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 08/12/2010 10:32

just a 5 second wave this morning, but nowt else! I have been racking my brains. I threw up precisely twice with both pgs, having choked on a pregnacare! I did have nausea both times though, which i controlled through eating!

Seeing GP tomorrow morn as i had a reswab internally at the end of Oct and it came back abnormal again (post abs)for Staph infect but not enough to cause concern ie no bacteria or infection. So i want clarity and also want to try and push for an early scan if poss. Our EPU i am sure will see you regardless if you have a history of MC, failing that will pay privately. Also have to make sure i am covered re chicken pox as although i have had and have immunity it can cause birth defects in a fetus before 20 weeks. Just need to sanity check really!

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 08/12/2010 10:35

Hopes everyone else is FAB and not affected with any more snow! Its just permanently white here with Frost all day every day... poor garden is suffering... but looks very wintery wonderland-ish!

Good luck AR xx

Good luck mamac re the tickets!

Mamafoof · 08/12/2010 14:47

Woahh!! This thread moves very fast - hard to keep up with you ladies!! Xmas Smile

Thanks to you all for the welcome. Thanks also to MamaC, Nix, dancer and MummyB for your advice! I don't think I can try this cycle as did a ov test and was negative. However, I have for the last week been getting so much ewcm - is this normal after MC? Will definitely be trying after first af though.

Good luck with the take that tickets ladies! By the way, MummyB - get the feeling you're not in the UK - can I be a nosey parker and ask where you are? Somewhere warm I hope Xmas Grin xxxxxxx

LoveBeingADaddysGirl · 08/12/2010 14:48

Hi ladies hope everyone is ok, am out shopping and have just got the test results from the docs, hgc is showing 18 but I have no idea what that actually means! Have the scan booked but it's not til thu next week, can anyone shed any light?

Mamafoof · 08/12/2010 14:50

Sorry Nix - didn't see you post. Hope you're ok and you get all the clarity you need asap - I would def push for an early scan - nothing like a bit of certainty to get rid of the unnecessary negative thoughts.

sending positive vibes to you dancer - hope it goes well Xmas Smile

JulesAbs · 08/12/2010 15:42

Thank you to everyone for all the welcome notes. I second Mamafoof you gals sure to move this forum along fast, I'm sure i will get the knack of keeping up eventually!

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 08/12/2010 15:48

having lots of very wobbly thoughts to day mummy triggered by what i thought was discoloured CM earlier. and some cramping. Who the hell knows, can drive self crazy! Have looked up a private gyno who does viability testing at 6, 8, 10 and 12 (ordinarily who specialises in MC also so i think i will see him regardless of whether it sticks or not, for a scan or tests depending on situation!) so i might give them a call next week if i dont get any help from gp/epu. I had stopped temping, regret that now! Might start up again tomorrow, and next week also will get CB digi tests that show how many weeks you are.

orestyemerrywombat · 08/12/2010 16:17

(((Hugs))) Nix. I'm sure it'll turn out to be nothing but it's natural to worry. Keepp us updated. Sending sticky vibes your way xxx

Daddysgirl I'm afraid I'm not sure either... Sounds very low so levels dropping? Are they doing a second one?

Mamafoof anything is 'normal' after MC so it's prob just your body getting back to normal. Keep an eye out for signs of infection though (temperature, pain etc), just in case.

LoveBeingADaddysGirl · 08/12/2010 16:37

Not booked into do a second one got my scan next week so more waiting!

Huggles for you nix I suspect it is nothing hon. I guess this is the only possible bad side effect of getting that much wanted BFP... you then will inevitably be looking out for any teeny tiny indication it could all be going wrong! Try to relax, I know easier said than done and you have permission to throw that back in my face if and when I get there... I already know I'll torment myself silly! xx

Off to Aqua tonight... Get myself all limbered up for tonights bedroom antics Xmas Wink Xmas Grin Xmas Grin

MummyBellsAllTheWay · 08/12/2010 17:55

Hi everyone,

I am in the middle of a manic decorating frenzy - everyone has shiney lovely houses in England, and I want to jazz up our place before the relatives arrive (next week! arrghh!) (Its Costa Rica by the way foof, yep lovely and sunny, Grin)

Just painted a bathroom and part of the kitchen

Nix from one worrier to another, I find the only thing that helps is to do proactive things, I am no good at the "just try and relax and forget about it" thing. Therefore I think your idea to get checked out is great. Every little bit of reassurance you can get will help HOWEVER, I am not sure temping will really tell you anything, TCOYF says its useful because it could identify a chemical pregnancy but you are already beyond that stage arent you? I think once you have an established pregnancy temping wont help tell you if you are going to mc,and every dip might make you freak out more. xxx

Daddysgirl I hope I have got this right, I have been speed reading, are you still recovering from your mc? (this is not a new BFP?)

If so, your hcg is very low, which is good. Officially pregnant is 30, but then in pregnancy it quickly rises to the hundreds then thousands then tens of thousands in a few days. Below 5 is considered completely recovered from an mc/pregnancy so you ideally should be monitored until you reach below 5. It shouldnt take long seeing as it is low anyway. However if the number rises slightly or stays that way for a long time it could indicate retained tissue. A small piece (not visible on a scan) may just come away by itself or with your next period, if it doesnt come away you may be offered drugs or an ERPC to remove it. Dont worry just yet though, the first stage is to watch and monitor. If you are curious and cant wait till your scan, you could do some HPT's to see how what your HCG level is doing. Let us know how your scan goes xxx

HidingUnderTheTreeWithSanta · 08/12/2010 18:20

Hello everyone!

Wow MummyB I am very impressed by your speedy painting skills! Grin

Welcome to the new people. Sorry you have ended up here but it is a great group and loads of support.

I think my temps have gone loopy! They were definately starting to go up a few days ago right when I was expecting them to so I thought 'Yay OV'. But now they seem to be going down again! aarggh, I just don't understand. I'm getting all my other usual ov symptoms but the temps are just floating around in a slightly higher then pre-ov but no where near as high as normal post-ov position so now I just don't know what is going on. Confused

Ho hum...I think the only answer may be to have lots more sex just in case Wink
