TTC after MC, ERPC anyone want to join me??

Hi ive been posting on the miscarrage forum but now feel ready to start all over again!
My story, Had my first MMC in nov 2007, followed by an erpc (worst moment of my life) this was my first pregnancy and i felt robbed. Waited for two periods and got pg with my little DD in feb 2008, i had a great pg and birth but was on constant knicker alert. We decided when she was two we would like another baby to add to the familiy, we decided to try in sept this year and got pg first time! (very shocked) I was so hoping this would be my time to have a stress free pg and actually enjoy the experience! How wrong i was, i started to spot at six weeks had a scan which showed a sac but no baby, i then enjoured the worst two week of my life by having scan and blood tests. I was told on the 8th on nov the pregnany was not going to continue and i had a blighted ovum, and on the 9th i had a erpc. I have recovered well and stopped bleeding the day after the procedure. I went to see my doc last week who told me i could start ttc asap as long as i feel up to it?? anyone else ttc straight away, last time i was told to wait and i did but this time i have read that there is no lit to say wait apart from to date the pg?? Im hoping there are some people who can share there experiences and someone who wants to join me!

pecka - that is super early to test so don't feel too down. So glad that you were able to enjoy the baby. And v re: you at Jamie's restaurant - was it good? I think that you, me and harassed are just about in sync - I think af is due around 17th-19th so planning to test next Thurs as potential big drinking night - seems so far away though. Why does time go sooooooo slowly?

Sorry to hear that you were a bit harassed - very understandable. Would recommend clearblue myself but that's only cos it's just about the only brand available here!

Very pleased to report that the neck is loads better. Got a wonderful sleep with only one tablet of valium - it's good stuff! Would normally be enjoying a start of weekend now but will have to resist. DH out on a boys night soon so the sofa and tv is all mine - hurrah!

We are definitely going to need to start a new thread soon ladies - any suggestions for a name. How about something like "Here's a thread for wormshufflers etc. ttc post mc"? No pressure sparkly but I'm sure your wonderful wit can come up with something better!

I think that superdrugs own brand are good, not too expensive and good for early testing.

I cannot believe how long it took me to do. It's not even that long or any good.

I see even more difficult that she's a good friend. I had the same thing with my first mc, my business partner was pg 3 weeks after me so her baby is a constant reminder.

My go and have a shower, was too keen to get started this morning.

Has anyone else seen this? what happens to your insides when pg - fascinating stuff! Have new respect for pg ladies complaining of breathlessness and constipation issues!

I was thinking that we need a new thread too...we need a good title but nothing that attracts too many newbies......one or two from time to time is great but we don't want to be flooded! Sorry been a bit busy, how are you all? it is my birthday today so I will help myself to !! It was this time last year when we decided to try again and I had pictured having new little one or at least a bump by the time I hit 36 but hey ho I am soooo lucky to have the 2 DC's I have :)

I think those symptoms sound great harrassed I have never had a positive on an early PG test, in fact with my son it was over a week after AF due that it even showed as positive, so I have no advice to offer re this I'm afraid. So don't be too dis-heartened either pecka

Actually I never test early, can't stand the bfn.....but I guess you have to do what suits you.

Hey worm sorry it's not been a happy b'day so far...you should have sent more chocolate in our direction, I'm sure that would have helped with the target! What's on the menu for tonight? And does working with chocolate put you off it? i know it's not the same but when i worked at pizza hut I went right off pizzas, could barely even look at them.

We're having steak and roasted potatoes in rosemary. Yum....am starting to feel v tired now, couldn't get to sleep until 4am last night, must be all the stress in my system....hopefully that'll mean I'll have a restful night tonight ready to blow them away tomorrow.

Ohh I sound like a right misery! my day is great now sat here with my wine while DH cooks "something" ( i am not allowed in the kitchen)!! Hope it's as nice as yours sounds yellow Not been put off chocolate, as my weight gain shows since I started this job!!! can't imagine EVER been sick of the sight of pizza!

I am [sick] at your lovely dinners Worm and Yellow - dh and I had fishcakes, chips and baked beans after both working all day, picking dd up and then back to school for Open Evening. Then, in her book bag this morning was the letter about Open Day. Not much good putting that in there on the actual flaming day!! Not impressed....

So..... I've decided to test tomorrow. Discussed it with dh. Feeling very wobbly about it though, but will feel awful if I get a bfp a few days later and have got trollied!

I am nervous for you harrassed I know what you mean about making sure you are not before getting pissed letting your hair down. I didn't know I was PG with DS and went out, I had the worst hangover ever was ill for 2 days!, then when I found out I spent the next 8 months worrying I had damaged it. (he is fine btw)

Thanks for asking re: neck yellow - a bit stiff when I first woke up, but getting better all the time. Had a wonderful sleep, despite slightly merry DH coming home around 1.30, and can understand how people could get addicted to valium! Planning not to take it tonight though and have a glass of . Had a lovely lie-in with DH plus the bits that go with that and we put the world to rights nicely. He's gone off sailing so I had a quick pootle to the shops to replace some of the clothes etc. that are still in Christchurch. Talking of which, have you seen the news on the earthquake / tsunami in Japan? Truly shocking images.....

I'm warming up the positive vibes for you for later today yellow so that when the time comes they'll be blasted all the way to London with a bit of extra polish for your shoes and horseshoes, 4 leafed clovers and a black cat for good measure! Eek - honestly am nervous! x
