Hi ive been posting on the miscarrage forum but now feel ready to start all over again!
My story, Had my first MMC in nov 2007, followed by an erpc (worst moment of my life) this was my first pregnancy and i felt robbed. Waited for two periods and got pg with my little DD in feb 2008, i had a great pg and birth but was on constant knicker alert. We decided when she was two we would like another baby to add to the familiy, we decided to try in sept this year and got pg first time! (very shocked) I was so hoping this would be my time to have a stress free pg and actually enjoy the experience! How wrong i was, i started to spot at six weeks had a scan which showed a sac but no baby, i then enjoured the worst two week of my life by having scan and blood tests. I was told on the 8th on nov the pregnany was not going to continue and i had a blighted ovum, and on the 9th i had a erpc. I have recovered well and stopped bleeding the day after the procedure. I went to see my doc last week who told me i could start ttc asap as long as i feel up to it?? anyone else ttc straight away, last time i was told to wait and i did but this time i have read that there is no lit to say wait apart from to date the pg?? Im hoping there are some people who can share there experiences and someone who wants to join me!

Still got fingers crossed for you regarding the job yellow, I know absolutely nothing about temping as (thankfully) I don't seem to have a problem getting PG, it looks facsinating though when you look at those charts!
Regarding the pregnacare, I think I will hold off until taking them for now. There are lots of reports about them making you hurl pecka and most people say you need to take them with your main meal. So given that we are away on holiday and will be eating out I will have to do this in front of my DC's and don't want to risk them seeing the packet and getting their hopes up. DD doesn't miss a trick! well at 11 we didn't either ey? So I will keep on taking the folic acid as I can sneak that at any time of the day. Hope you don't get blown away in your wooden lodge this weekend pecka!
Thanks for the tip re brazil nuts sparkly , they are yummy.....especially when covered in belgiun chocolate :o , i did some googling about low pottasium and miscarriages, and nothing came up, except a load of stuff about how to gender select!! apparently high pottasium intake helps you have a boy! Well I did not like those suggestions at all! I just want a(nother) healthy baby, not at all bothered what we may get!
I weekend in the garden awaits for me, going to (get dh to) build some raised beds for veggies....very to the manor born I know!
Have a good 'un ladies

Do you think I should be worried?? Feel a bit sick now and again, and lite headed and tired but to be hones my DD isn't sleeping so good so I think she's adding to the tiredness
Yellow got my fingers crossed for you!!

Nurse glad your tests are getting darker, sounds like a good sign. Yeh is so sad re Amanda Holden....at 7 months as well. I cannot imagine how awful that must be.

Right must stop messing about and do something useful. Roast chicken for dinner tonight, yum yum.

Sparklywine · 08/02/2011 13:45

Yoohoo, just wanted to check in to say hi. I am lurking, AF due tomorrow so I'm in that horrible limbo land of hope and imminent crushed dreams.

Poas this morning and got a bfn, which made me think there's little chance this month, but I don't feel like my period is imminent, which is giving me a false sense of expectation. One of DH's workpals has just announced his wife is 14 wks, she got pg about the same time as me last year but had a mc very early on. Lovely news for them and glad it's not taken too long for her, but I did feel 'Ok, my turn!' DH's boss apparently said she'd lost a bet now as she thought we would be next! Shock Some people just don't think, although to be fair she'd be mortified if she'd known about our history. Someone else at work has also brought in their newborn for everyone to coo over today.
Is it fate? A sign? Am I next?

yellowtomato · 08/02/2011 14:49

Hello ladies

Still no news......Sad I think i've got to accept it's all over but they could at least let me know for sure.....

sparkly some people are so insensitive aren't they? I've got my fingers crossed for you. I know the feeling of the day or two before af well....it's such a see saw between hope and despair....hope it goes your way.

pecka glad you had a good time in your cabin...i've got no holiday plans...really need to find a job first. Let me see, re your holiday......you could go somewhere in the South of France, Provence or the Riviera should be warm then but not too crowded. Or how about the Amalfi coast in Italy? Really beautiful and you can get the ferry to Capri for the day.....I reckon it should be warm then too? (NB disclaimer I do not want to be held responsible for your holiday weather) Grin back to ttc, have you any symptoms?

worm I can't believe you are off so soon...you must be so excited. Sounds like you've got everything planned.

i'm seeing acupuncturist tomorrow with all my results so it will be interesting to see what he says...if he still has hope......or not.

Sparklywine · 08/02/2011 16:26

It's on it's way. I know it Sad
Yellow, they are undeserving of you!

yellowtomato · 08/02/2011 17:52

newsflash!

They have just said that I'm over qualified but want me to discuss another more senior role. So I guess the finger crossing must continue!

sparkly I hope it isn't......

Wormshuffler · 08/02/2011 18:36

Excellent yellow some positive news at last for you. Now sending positive vibes to the accupuncturist to wave some magic.
sparkly it aint over yet!

Wombat that links amazing saw it last week, i think ive done most of the things on that list!! Lol

waves to all lurkers. Xxx p.s yellow thx for holiday advice.

Sparklywine · 09/02/2011 09:06

It's over! Over!

Waaaaah.
Great news Yellow, you little star you!

yellowtomato · 09/02/2011 09:23

Oh sparkly I'm sorry...bummer......come here and snuggle in tight, plenty of room.

worm I've seen that thread and have to admit to having done quite a few of those....but written in black and white like that does make some of the things seem quite nuts. Blush

pecka that sounds like an impressive selection of symptoms. I don't have any....well i could say I'm feeling very hungry but I am trying to lose a bit of weight so that might explain that one! Fingers crossed tightly for you. I've been looking online of pics of the amalfi coast, it really does look like that......so beautiful. Have you been round that way before?

pecka33 · 09/02/2011 16:57

thanks yellow, ive had terrible diarrea and wind today, fingers crossed there all symptoms and not just general poo pants illness!!!
Never been to italy, your the third person to recommend so maybe something in it, it does look beautiful, popping into travell agents tonight to get some costings.....
Never over till it over on the job front, i took two weeks to make up my mind on a new candidate. X

yellowtomato · 10/02/2011 09:46

oh pecka how could you be so cruel as to keep someone waiting 2 weeks! How are the symptoms/illness today?

Did you get some good info from travel agents? It's great fun planning a holiday isn't it?

the acupuncturist didn't really have much to say about my results except for that they fluctuate from month to month and he recommends weekly acupuncture and starting on Chinese herbal stuff next cycle. He said that I need to calm down and be more 'centered' Hmm I told him that taking my temperature was stressing me out and causing me to wake up in the night worrying about the best time to take it so he told me that wouldn't be helpful and so I should stop altogether. My leg is still aching today where he put the needle in the shin. Ouch! Well it doesn't actually hurt just aches in an unpleasant way.

Where is everyone? And more to the point how is everyone? Esp those pg ladies? Thinking of you all.....

pecka33 · 10/02/2011 10:44

ha ha ha -yellow it kindof needed two weeks as there where lots of things to consider... And the fact im cruel. Lol

kinda have pms syptoms today, can feel it building ready for monday!!! Poo pants!!!

Ive started my baby diet as well, and its all going really well so far, just need to get some exercise in.

If we dont get a bfp this month, were just going to take the pressure off and stop the ov sticks, temps ect and see what happens....

My mom started with the accupuncture today for her shoulder, sounds pleasent??? Not.

My friends coming monday to start my reflexolgy to help me relax, my nightmares and lack of sleep continue and have had terrible bowel probs, stress related maybe!!!

All sounds very positive yellow all in the right direction!

Waves to all xxxx

Wormshuffler · 10/02/2011 14:47

Hi Girls I'm still here! cd 7 for me so operation impregnation starts tonight!

I can see how doing the temping would be very stressful, does temping have more positive help than OV sticks? sorry I am clueless about all this as have always been extremely lucky. (so unfair for you I know .....)
Fingers crossed the accupunture works for you, they sound like they are giving sound advise re stopping the temping.

pecka Hope the dodgy tummy is feeling better and think positive! this could be your month! We went to Lake Garda a couple of years ago and it was devine!! heartily recommend!

Sparkly* sorry the witch got you this month, onwards an upwards... have a Wine
Hello to everyone
xxxx

Sparklywine · 10/02/2011 15:12

I shall be having plentiful Wine, do not worry Grin
I've been dying to use that emoticon!
Feeling quite positive, DH has suggested we just take it easy and enjoy life as always, and what will be will be. So rather than escalate TTC into what for me would be a paranoid madness of ov sticks, charting and specified shagging, we are going to take it easy for a little while. Easier said than done of course, and I'll still be jumping tempting him come ov time, but the pressure is off for a 2011 baby. Plus we really need to start setting some money aside, we can't even afford a car at the moment - how are we meant to take Sparklyjnr to Blackpool educational museums and Mcdonalds Pizza Express? Grin
Waves to all, any results Yellow?

pecka33 · 10/02/2011 15:29

oooohhhh worm!! How exciting, barry white, lets get it on just came to mind!!! Lol keep us informormed on symptom watch...
Sparkly, your right positive thoughts can only help surely? I agree with your dh, taking some pressure off is a good idea, and thats my plans for next month if i get a bfn, thats how we got pg the last time....
Were also in the same position car wise, we both have company cars mine i will loose if get pg, my dh,s is a va, aka.... My big fat gypsey stylie!! We need to get saving too...

Hi fellow ttcer, lurkers, newly pg,s keep us upto date on symtoms, progress. Xx.

yellowtomato · 11/02/2011 08:12

Morning all

So I've got a telephone interview this morning.....and then I guess if that goes well then maybe a face to face next week or something? I am sooo impatient, I hate waiting for them to get back to me with the next step!

worm re ov sticks versus temping I don't know really. All I know is I found the ov sticks to be unreliable so I could get a neg in the am, a positive in the pm and the same the next day.....and the lines never seemed to get that dark.....(and that was even on a month I got pg so there must have been ov) wrt temping I've only done half a month and my temps were all over the place I think because of the erratic sleeping. In my experiments on the same day depending on whether temp was taken at 5am, 6am 7am or 7.30 it could vary by almost 1% which is huge in terms of temping. I am just going to stick to going by EWCM for now.

I do think it's a good idea to try to chill out about it all but it is easier said than done! Hopefully the acupuncture and herbs will help on that front, might even try a bit of meditation. I've tried before but always get so restless but people who've overcome that and got into it tell me it's amazing.....

Right must go an re-read job description and prepare for interview.

Have a good Friday everyone.....plenty of Wine for those who can!
