A safe haven for those just off the mc rollercoaster and thinking about getting back on or are already on the TTC rollercoaster. Be warned these lovely ladies chat, and the thread moves lightening fast, but all are welcome to join in any time Smile

For those who have just mc'd, there is great info about your first cycle here

If you want to add yourself into the stats, just copy and paste the lot, change everyones CD (cycle day) if necessary and add yourself in.
WTF = first cycle after mc
WTTC = waiting to TTC
CD = cycle day
UCL = usual cycle length

Thanks mumms thought so, i think i am just before OV now. darker pee stick anyway. I expect what i was feeling earlier in the month is normal, will furtle and watch for it to shoot higher! low temp, lower than earlier in the week also so to me its not happened and is pending ;)

sorry/fondant :( its too early!

Welcome HK sorry you have to be here, hope we have entertained you in lurk status!

and last but not least..... MAMA! yay!!! hope you have had a fab time, welcome back to the cold weather of blighty xxx

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 12/11/2010 09:24

(((( pink )))) you were so cross you posted it twice! I don't blame you though, I would be really pissed off with the dry cleaners. Definitely go and rant at them!!

I know what you mean about where you should be by now, I should be nearly 35 weeks Sad and thinking about leaving work and looking the size of a house instead of sitting here in my normal clothes stressing about the big hearing coming up in December. But we have to go with the flow remember, calm and zen to all...

And I am still hopeful for you YRMOTB and velvet x

nicks are you back on with the temping? How's it going? Any news on the cervix - have you worked out what's going on?

mummya hope the packing's not too stressful, I think it's really good that you don't have long to wait and get worried about it, this time next week it should all be over.

hongkong sorry you're here but welcome to the thread. I had a mmc in July too Sad. You'll get some great support here and hopefully won't have to stay too long.

inbetweener · 12/11/2010 10:06

Morning everyone,
pink totally peed of on your behalf about the suit !!! Thats so annoying. Hope your day improves, you know you are letting that BFN effect your day arent you Sad. I am soooo like that. As soon as I get a BFN I am in a FOUL mood. But like you say, if you have calculated correctly you are way too early so thats a goiod thing. I didnt get a BFP till I was 5 days late and as you know Blush had had about 8 BFN's !!

YOUREMINDME have you POAS ??????

Hi hongkong sorry you are here but its a great place to hide while you are recovering if you dont mind the smell of the fish lol.

Well I started to feel slightly nauseous this morning which I am tkaing as a good thing. However, I am more then aware that it could be the fact that I ate 3 packs of Haribo and 2 bars of dairy milk in bed last night cos I juts couldnt sleep. I am soooo terrified this BFP wont stick and every twinge, every, well everything makes me nervous. So I might just forget I have had a BFP for a bit and disapear.

Am waiting for week 6 before I go to the docs. I should be 5 weeks on sunday. Do you reckon thats ok ?

Hope everyone waiting gets their BFP's today or over the weekend. I will be lurking x Grin

nickstermum · 12/11/2010 10:06

Izz, temping but mega drop and v low cervix, bit before ov I think?!

Mummy, tip for plane! Do you have an iPhone? If you have copy some kids DVD's onto it for ds to watch? Also can download kids games and numbers/alphabets and wot not? Keeps entertained anyway :)

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 12/11/2010 10:42

nicks yep sounds like bit before ov. Go for it!

inbetweener go to dr whenever you feel ready, since ime you never get it quite right. With my first two PGs I rang the dr straight away in state of huge excitement to be met with a very underwhelmed "well why are you ringing now? We don't need to see you until 10 weeks +". So last time (pg3) I played it cool and didn't ring until I was nearly 9 weeks only to have a completely excitable midwife flapping about why I hadn't rung earlier and they needed to see me immediately! You can't win, so just go with what you feel is right, but IMO 6 weeks sounds very reasonable, especially after a mc.

mummy I second nicks' comment re iPhone for journey, download lots of kiddie games and apps before you go. Also if you can pick up any childrens magazines or activity/sticker books we have found they are great for planes.

Well the acupuncturist said I needed more protein so I'm about to brave the wind and head out to purchase more supplements. Happy Friday all x

Wombat33 · 12/11/2010 11:10

Morning all! Purple bob and blue dreads hey?!! Makes me feel terribly dull.... I too went to the hairdressers yesterday and had my hair coloured.... brown.... much like it always has been really Grin Grin. Maybe I should go pnik next time Hmm :)

Inbetweener I think you should go to the doc whenever you're ready. The only thought I would add is when I MC I read a load of info about getting testing for the causes and noticed somewhere (can't remember where now) that it said that tests would only be given if a woman loses three 'official' pgs. By 'Official' they said, notified to the woman's doctor... I'm guessing they just meant not chemical, but I made my mind up there and then that next time I get a BFP, the moment I'm overdue for AF, I'm going to call my doctor and get it on my notes that I'm pg (no need to actually have an appointment to do this at my surgery, they don't retest you anyway even if they see you) to that it strengthens my case for pushing for tests later if, heaven forbid, I ever find myself feeling like I need them. I hope you don't think this is terribly doom and gloom and i'm sure you'll never need any tests. I'm just aware that thhings are likely to be very complicated for me and I might end up needing some and I thought I'd share...

Wombat33 · 12/11/2010 11:11

Also GOOD LUCK DACHS!!!!!!!

(I hope I've got the right day...??? I had in mind it was Friday.... am I a week early...???)

thanks for the good wishes people

just a quick one as i am knackered! Just got home, bit sore, they got 9 eggs, we find out tomorrow if any have developed...

Ladybee · 12/11/2010 13:43

9!!!!

That's brilliant Dachs well done you GrinGrin

Fingers crossed for a nice crop of them to transfer/freeze

Rest up lady.

Ladybee · 12/11/2010 13:48

My body is having a laugh with me. After you all said 'Maybe they'll go back up' when my temps fell the other day..they went back up.
So I had a relapse of optimism.
So they went back down today.
I give up. I just want this cycle over - I'm past caring and I'm not even officially 'late' yet.
D'you ever wonder whether too much self-knowledge is a bad thing?

Hello quichegirl, back in the saddle eh? So what does the new job involve?

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 12/11/2010 14:08

ladybee yes, ignorance is bliss...however they may go back up again

go dachs - 9!!!! fx for some good news over the next few days!

good to see you back on the list, hope the new job's going well

PrettyQuichey · 12/11/2010 14:44

9! Dachs well done you!
T'is amazing what the human body can do/produce.
All the luck in the world that they are tip top and ready to rock!

Feel bad cos not been on the ball with everyones news recently but dare I say, and I'm not sure if you've akctuilly thought of this Bee Grin

New job, erm, more work, but more support, more pennies, better thought of, higher profile, wonderful team.

Izzster Oh it will!
I start on Mon but have been moonlighting and know all the team already.
I can't wait!
To say there's been ishyooos in my previous role would be an understatement!
Oh well, all good things come to those who keep smiling and wait.

Ladybee · 12/11/2010 15:08

I peed yesterday - BFN. And was so sure when I woke up this morning that I'd wipe and see AF, that I just peed my FMU down the toilet without thinking whether to test this morning.

I don't think I am. I had that soggypant feeling yesterday that TCOYF describes as the water leaving the uterus lining first before it breaks down. I wish I was, but I reckon not this time. Have almost come around to the idea now. I even bought a carton of grapefruit juice in preparation for the next cycle Grin

Wombat33 · 12/11/2010 15:15

Hi Pretty and congrats on nooo house/job!!

Dachs FABO 9 eggs!! FX they all get busy over the next 24 hrs. Hope you're resting up ready for the next bit x

Lady pants about confusing boody

Go go Nix - sound like SWI time!

Also hi to HK sorry I missed you earlier. hope your stay is short and sweet but sorry you've found yourself here.

Hello to anyone else hanging around this afternoon :) IT'S FRIDAY!!!!! GrinGrinGrin (and I've got PIL for the w/e, but let's not focus on that bit Grin)

DachshundsRule · 12/11/2010 15:19

wombat I also have PIL this weekend, but only on Sunday... Why did I arrange that with all the IVF stuff going on? I can only blame the hormones...

youremindmeofthebabe · 12/11/2010 16:10

heya folkses!

How are you all? Lovely to see quichey and dachs, it's been a while! So glad you're in a new job, q, the old one sounded a beet of a nightmare. Hows the hands? back up to hyper typing speed?Grin

I have brown snot which heralds the onset of AF. So I definately will not be pregnant in time for my due date. And, even worse, I'm going to have this month off. Well, not off, i'll stilll be here, but really, i want to go out and get steaming on at least two occasions over xmas. Or at least that's todays thoughts.

bee kerazy temps, eh? here's hoping for you anyway.

nix are you still a bit down? It all seems so bloody insurmountable sometimes doesn't it? hang on in there though, it will get better. Eventually.

dachs well done on 9 eggs! hope you have a relaxing few days after that, even with pil here!

Well, best go do some tidying up. DS has impetigo, which necessitates me boil washing all the bedding and towels and anything else he may have come into contact withHmm

Aaagh! I am such a numpty!!

Had a new mattress delivered today but when the delivery guys said "shall we take it upstairs?", instead of saying like any normal person "yes please and could you take away the old one while you're at it", all I could think was "arsecrackers, I haven't tidied up our bedroom". Ended up insisting they left it downstairs while they looked at me as if I was mental, then instantly regretted it but was too late to change my mind as they scarpered pretty sharpish. Now I have a huuuge king size mattress still in wrapping propped up in the hallway and blocking the downstairs toilet, and the old double mattress propped up on one side of the landing, blocking the airing cupboard, our bedroom door, and half of DS's. I can't move either, they are way too heavy. There is no mattress on our bed Blush

On the upside, new mattress is very big and looks very comfy so if me and DH together can't sort it I'm just going to put it on the floor and sleep in the lounge Grin

GrinGrinGrinGrin Izzy
That. is. frikkin' he-lari-arse!!!!
Me, of course would never do such a thing. Hmm
When we did our bedroom and got noo things, I came home from the shops all excited and dismantled our bed and took it to the tip.
MrG. came home and pointed out that it would take a while for the new bed to arrive Blush
We slept on the floor on the old mattress for nearly 2 months as when we did get stuff delivered I decided I wanted a new carpet too and then we may as well redecorate.

The few times (and then last!! Angry) my cat was allowed in our room he must have got so excited by all our scents he decided to add to it and peed on the mattress.
By my head
Whilst I was asleep.
Needless to say I managed to shift the old mattress pretty quickly and threw it down the stairs with the cat very nearly going the same way!
Kinda spurred us on to decorate.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 12/11/2010 17:33

pretty Grin re the cat. That is not good. Mind you the first time our dog got into our bedroom he squeezed himself under the bed and poo'd under the bed on our new carpet Angry. He was not welcome in the bedroom for a looong time after that.

The really annoying thing was he looked so bloody pleased with himself afterwards...
