A safe haven for those just off the mc rollercoaster and thinking about getting back on or are already on the TTC rollercoaster. Be warned these lovely ladies chat, and the thread moves lightening fast, but all are welcome to join in any time Smile

For those who have just mc'd, there is great info about your first cycle here

If you want to add yourself into the stats, just copy and paste the lot, change everyones CD (cycle day) if necessary and add yourself in.
WTF = first cycle after mc
WTTC = waiting to TTC
CD = cycle day
UCL = usual cycle length

((( mamap ))) sorry AF got you, the biatch, and sorry you're feeling crappy although I don't blame you Sad. We are tidying up the bedroom and I was just looking through DC3's memory box, and it is all so shit and unfair (I know I'm blessed to have two though). It's frustrating and miserable.

We will get there though, I do believe that. Big hugs all round x

MamaPower · 24/11/2010 18:10

Pink I would totally be up for that too, instead I've poured myself a large G&T Grin cheers chicca Smile

Kat DH is out tonight so I guess in his absence I needed to unload and feel some love and understanding...thank you so much Smile Have pulled the mutt up on the sofa for a cuddle, unconditional doggy love and drink is going to be the answer tonight!!

MamaPower · 24/11/2010 18:12

Thanks Izzy It's so silly and totally caught me off guard... just as well we are all here for each other through af's and BFP's, highs and lows, tears and laughter!! Don't know where I'd be without you all Smile

MummyinEngland · 24/11/2010 18:34

Sorry you are feeling rubbish MamaP wish I had the magic words to make you feel better,. I just hope you get what you long for so much very soon. You will make an excellent mum when you eventually get there, much much better than all those other women you mentioned who get pregnant easily and dont value it, and your little one will know it. Big hugs xxx

AandRMum · 24/11/2010 18:47

MamaP hope you and the pup are getting happily sloshed. Unconditional love definitely helps. Black dog days just suck. Shitty af - I highly recommend punching things.

DachshundsRule · 24/11/2010 18:49

mamap think i might join you in the doggy love tonight! currently having very wet licky waggy doggy love. unfortuantely no drink. Feeling really miserable myself. Have NO pg symptoms, even though I've been sypmtom spotting hard, absolutely 100% convinced the IVF hasn't worked and am really really miserable. have been in tears for the past couple of days at the drop of a hat and know exactly how you feel about the unfairness of it all. sorry you're feeling rubbish. My SIL had TWO abortions, then got pregnant as soon as she started trying for a baby with the guy she is now married to. I think it's cruel and unfair that people can do that when I'm struggling to have just one.

MamaPower · 24/11/2010 18:50

awww Mummy I knew you'd all get my rant about the injustice of it all! Thank you for cheering up silly old me! Enough about me... how are you? how much longer you in Blighty for? Have you got a list of your fave treats to take back with you?

Ladybee · 24/11/2010 18:55

Oh mamapower it's not silly at all. It is unfair, stupidly so. Just remember chick there is not a finite amount of fertility in the world and you have not used up your chance. Neither has anyone else stolen your slice even though it damn well feels like it sometimes I'm sure.
The disappointment is horrendous - and I do sympathise hugely - especially with those ttc their first. I MC my first pg before conceiving DS and remember v strongly the pain of not knowing whether I'd ever carry a pg to term. Please have faith that you'll get there.
I'd be up for the glass of wine - in fact, I've just ordered a case to arrive for my birthday hooray!
In other news, ff and cbfm are in agreement that I've just hit the zone so I'm going to pull out all stops to try to get dh to cooperate over next few days. Things have been a bit better for us generally in the department so let's see...wish me luck ladies, I'm going in

MamaPower · 24/11/2010 18:57
DachshundsRule · 24/11/2010 18:58

aandr I'm happy for mamap to get sloshed, but her pup getting sloshed is a bad idea. when one of our pups was little she developed a liking for Baileys. DH accidentally left a glass out one night and she drank all of it. We were woken up in the middle of the night by horrible yowling. She'd been sick all over herself, the other dog, the dog bed, the kitchen floor etc. And she had the most terrible shakes. I had to give her a bath at 2 in the morning and then cuddle her all night. I was really worried she wouldn't make it through the night.

MamaPower · 24/11/2010 19:02

Lady your planned antics made me forget my woes... MrBee better play the game Grin Grin Grin

MamaPower · 24/11/2010 19:09

aandr and Dachs ha ha ha ha reminds me of the time I caught mine with her tongue in my Bacardi when she was pup... little tinker, she was dondering all over the place for a couple of hours Grin am going to search for smoking chav mum to knock out hee hee!

OrangeToeNails · 24/11/2010 19:16

mamap I'm not entirely sure I can add anything to what has been said, except that I agree with the injustice of it all and that when the time comes you will make a far better mother than those skanks drinking and smoking.

Just found out we have guests the day dh goes away for a week, which FF predicts OV, so last chance. Have ordered SWI that day whether he's in the mood, we have guests, or snow or anything else - I don't care!! Maybe I should try more romance...Grin

Emoo · 24/11/2010 19:17

Yikes!! I go away for a glass of wine and by the time I?ve sobered up, you?ve written 2 pages! Grin

Glad to see there are others here charting.. I did before little Emoochick (now aged 7) as I had completely wacky cycles up to 3 months long.. since then have been a bit more regular and therefore just guessed about timing, but after the recent setback, I am feeling the urge to get obsessive again!

Nix, OrangeTN (sorry, makes me think of pork scratchings) ? thanks for the info about how long until I might expect a bfn. Nix, I like your imagination! Pink - how long until you got your bfn?

A&R - thanks for the soup! Went nicely with the wine. Perhaps some stilton next time?

MummyE - sorry, I have no clue about your hormones, but congrats on the grapefruit j!

MamaP - sorry to hear about AF. I know that horrid sinking feeling so well, so try to be comforted that you are not alone. I am also completely with you about feelings of resentment towards those who congregate outside maternity entrances and similar places specifically to rub our noses in it. They?re not really there for their nicotine fix, surely? Dachshunds - sorry you are having a rough day too.

Ladybee - good luck with DH.. but looking at your last sentence.. I?m a bit worried about your technique???!!! Confused

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 24/11/2010 19:26

(((hugs))) to dachs I really hope you're wrong and it's all worked for you, will keep my fx for you chick x

mummye I feel for you atm, it is bitterly cold out there, you must be really missing costa rican sunshine! I had a look at your chart earlier, it does look a bit bizarre but I guess with the flight over time zones and the op/meds it's not going to be normal this cycle? Good on you for getting back into the habit though, hopefully AF will arrive on time and things can get back to normal for you Smile

Ladybee you go girl!! Grin

emoo you were asking about bfns - I got mine exactly 1week after ERPC (1st test I did) and I would have been 17 weeks at the date of the op, so I'm not entirely sure whether how far along you were makes a difference. Hopefully you'll get yours soon (god it feels bizarre to be writing that Sad ) and can get back to ttc x

kat2504 · 24/11/2010 19:31

orange there is a way to make it appear more romantic even though of course you know it is timed. The stealth-sex naughty element of it ooh err look we even have guests over and we are sneaking one in element might work? Same principle applies if you are staying over at someone elses place.

nickstermum · 24/11/2010 19:38

((((((MAMAMAMAMAAMMAMAMAMAMMAPPPPPP))))))))

Oh lovely xxxxxxxxxx

Sorry been awol i have spent a grand total of 7.5 hours on the motorway network today as opposed to the grand total of normally 6 for a trip to Brizzle! (i did sneak a couple of looks at MN but i must have been too early for the rantings. :(

mamap you never rant on here, usually very calm, totally totally allowed to though, you go for it girl, sorry that you have to!

Wombat33 · 24/11/2010 19:40

Ooh, sorry Emoo, in my total crapness at keeping up I haven't introduced myself. I'm sorry you find yourself here but welcome.

I'm 31, TTC my first. Had a natural MC in September at 7 wks. I think I got BFN after about 8 days. In the meantime have been told that I have genetics issues, not that caused the MC but that give me a 50% chance of abnormalities in any pg :( Still, can only keep trying so I'm temping/EWCM-checking/POAS-ing like a true nutter and trying to stay upbeat (almost said 'positive'... that would be nice... Wink]HmmGrin).

Wombat33 · 24/11/2010 19:42

ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh hot choc and marshmallows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wombat33 · 24/11/2010 19:42

Thanks Nix! x

nickstermum · 24/11/2010 19:47

All i can thinkof now when i read Orange's posts are pork scratchings, thanks emoo Grin

bee i am now what you commonly may know as a sperm snatcher happy for you to steal said crown for the month x

OrangeToeNails · 24/11/2010 19:48

emoo no probs :) I have to keep painted as my big toes are blue from wearing pointy shoes and being trod on

dachs I'm willing a BFP for you

kat it's only the first month so not too bad, and i think he's enjoying the demands - it won't last

youremindmeofthebabe · 24/11/2010 19:48

emoo sober mumsnetting is very overrated!Wink And I had to wait 3 weeks for a BFN!After an ERPC at 15 weeks, but baby had dies at 7.

mamap Sorry to hear you're having a bad un. The first proper period day is awful, isn't it? I do partly blame the hormones. And the rest.

dachs Sorry you're feeling a bit poo too. Fwiw, I didn't even know I was pg with ds till 4 months gone, plus. Soo, symptom spotting is not always accurate, avan though we all do it, all the time!

nix that sounds shit, my love. Bloody motorways.

Do you all have snow forecast tonight? I do for 4 days.

nickstermum · 24/11/2010 20:12

Snow forecast here! Yes babes lorry fire on m5 north closed m5 both ways and m42 both ways was not amuzed!

wombo all i think of is you with the hot chocolate and the suit!! AR was to blame Grin

we have the sledge at the ready

MummyinEngland · 24/11/2010 20:24

its even harder to keep up with your chatterboxes when I am in the same time zone!

mamap I am doing Ok thanks sweetie, made the list, been to the shops and stuffed the suitcase already! Still a week or so more of shopping left thoughGrin I am off Dec 3rd.

dach - just realised I havent caught up with you in ages. I read all about the recent embryo transfer but didnt want to post too early in case I was reading old news - fingers so massivley crossed for you. I cant imagine how nerve wracking this must be - hang in there!! xxx

I am going to Kent tomorrow to visit my dad - wont be online for a few days I think(which is about 4 MN thread yearsGrin ) - so big hugs for everyone until i get back! xxxx
