A safe haven for those just off the mc rollercoaster and thinking about getting back on or are already on the TTC rollercoaster. Be warned these lovely ladies chat, and the thread moves lightening fast, but all are welcome to join in any time Smile

For those who have just mc'd, there is great info about your first cycle here

If you want to add yourself into the stats, just copy and paste the lot, change everyones CD (cycle day) if necessary and add yourself in.
WTF = first cycle after mc
WTTC = waiting to TTC
CD = cycle day
UCL = usual cycle length

Hello ladies

I don't think I have a cat-in-hell's chance of keeping up with you, but may I join you all, please?

I'm ttc#2, have dd aged 7 already; it has been a long journey so far for many many reasons, psychological and logistical, not just physical.

I had a miscarriage last week at 8w5d Sad, am feeling very low, and looking for some positivity.. I don't know if the mc is actually over yet, although hopefully the worst of it is. I had started to lurk on the Jue in June board, but was not feeling very confident so didn't join, which was in retrospect a good decision. I am sorry there are so many of us here.

I don't know which bit of the list to put myself in..Confused? Not sure what wtf stands for, unless it's the usual what-the-f!@

MummyinEngland · 23/11/2010 16:19

Welcome Emoo, so sorry for your loss. Hope you are getting lots of TLC from those around you in RL. You need a lot of cuddles and looking after xxx

The What the Fuck cycle is the one immediately following mc where you dont have a clue when you will ovulate or when AF will come, basically its normal for things to be abnormal. Feel free to join the Waiting to TTC until you are ready, or if you want join the big list and count your cycle days use Day 1 as the day of your mc or ERPC.

CaribouMou GrinGrinGrinGrin@ your NHS scan! So nice to hear your lovely news. Do you think you will announce the pg officially now? My op was a great success by the way. All the scar tissue was removed, I am now on HRT and have a coil for 6 weeks but after that I can TTCGrinGrin

Its really really cold and YES I do miss my manSad! Thinking about going back early, but I dont want to disapoint my family, there are having a great time with DS.

Kat big hug for you. Hope this doesnt sound naff but remembering "this too will pass" helped me on those very low days.

hugs for all, sorry for not doing big catch up xxxx

PinkFondantFancy · 23/11/2010 16:24

chocs did you cut out a face in the turnip then??? Skills!!! Grin

emoo sorry for your loss :( you're very welcome here, and I hope you find some comfort here, I certainly did/still am. I had a mc at 8w 5d too. WTF stands for what you thought it does, it's your first cycle between mc and your first AF. How are you feeling physically? Are you still bleeding? Xx

HidingInTheBackRow · 23/11/2010 16:33

Well AandR, glad to have brightened up your day Smile

Also a pleasure to meet you choccy. It is amazing how moving up the list has made me feel so much better. Who would have thought a bit of cut & paste could cheer you up so much.

Welcome to the thread Emoo. Sorry for your loss but you have found a lovely group of people who are all more then happy to offer a sympathetic biscuit and stiff drink whenever you need to rant, weep or just ask questions. They have certainly got me through so far.

HidingInTheBackRow · 23/11/2010 16:34

..grabs and krispy kreme. Not sure how one goes about graping things but it sounds painful...Grin

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 23/11/2010 16:36

Hi emoo sorry you find yourself here Sad but it's as good a place to be as you will find in the circs. I'm sorry about your baby and hope you're getting lots of RL support x

WTF is exactly what you think it is, this is what we call that first "cycle" where our bodies seem to do anything they want!

Hugs to ((( choccy ))) and ((( kat ))) sorry you're having a bad time at the minute

pink nicks choccy mummye and aandrmum I don't think I've been a bin bag witch but me and DH did make our own Batman and Robin costumes when we were students, I had a Robin cape made out of an Ikea bag, DH had a Batman costume featuring bin bag cape and grey ladies tights (accidentally got 10denier so you could see his hairy legs!). We thought it was a good effort then when we got there everyone else had hired fancy expensive costumes Blush. Classy.

I was also the child with random root vegetables, distinctly remember having a swede instead of a pumpkin!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 23/11/2010 16:41

caribou Grin Grin Grin Great stuff, tis lovely to hear the good news stories too x

nicks and mummye and anyone else charting, please could you look at my chart lovely ladies? It's here

yesterday it told me I ov'd Friday and drew the coverline at about 36.1, today it's changed my ov to Saturday and moved the coverline up - any idea why?!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 23/11/2010 16:44

Right now I've put in CM data and it's gone dotted - WTF??

MummyinEngland · 23/11/2010 16:54

Izz I can see solid not dotted lines at the mo (?) CM is a primary fertility sign along with temps, so CM data carries a lot of weight. FF believes that the LAST day of EGCM is an indicator of ov (for you day 13) so it will readjust according as soon as you say there is no more EGCM. The chart I can see shows ov on day 16 based on temps alone I guess. Does that seems reasonable to you?

PinkFondantFancy · 23/11/2010 17:18

izz fancy dress story is well funny. you must have gone to a v posh uni for people to hire!! They were all homemade where I went, and I was a bit sad wen I left to throw away my pretty substantial stash of fancy dress gear!! Including a plastic sword for being she-ra :) I am a bit new to all this charting malarky but looking at your temps even if you didn't have any of the other signs, isn't Day 16 where you'd put it based on the temp rules? Is day 13 a double action day??? If so, I bow down in respect to you and mr izz!!! There is a serious amount of BD being done at your house!!! :)

caribou great news on scan!! Can't believe how quickly the time has gone! I guess quicker for us than for you...

nickers I'm gonna look at your chart in a sec, but it's in a previous page so gotta dig it out!!

PinkFondantFancy · 23/11/2010 17:24

nix that's a fabulous chart!! All looking good so far! I have got Envy at your amazing temp rise!! Have you got a farenheit thermo then?

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 23/11/2010 18:04

He he pink I am distinctly Envy at nix' temp rise, mine just creeps over the coverline very reluctantly each month...

The fancy dress party was a friend of my dsis's boyfriend btw so they were all about 7 years past studenthood and clearly had more money than sense than us, hence the costumes. Over the years I've also made my own fairy, cavewoman and Wonder Woman (that one was in my skinny days though!). My wardrobe is a goldmine of crap dressing up outfits Grin

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 23/11/2010 18:09

mummye have refreshed chart now, definitely dotted. Now am going to have to try and seduce DH again tonight just in case

MamaPower · 23/11/2010 19:07

Hey caribou, glad to hear your good news chicca Grin Holiday was fab thanks and I was so hoping for a 'Made in Malaysia' bean but no Symptoms at all so it's not looking good, speaking of which, Nix, Dachs, I'm cheering you two girls on, I've been cramping a lot today so fairly sure she's on her way tonight/tom. Damn we need some BFP's in here Grin

nickstermum · 23/11/2010 19:17

Whhop for a royal wedding and a bank hol to boot:) nice one mama re m11, takes you to nowhere doesn't it?? Joy!

Why is my temp jump making you Envy? Izz and pink? Pray tell!

nickstermum · 23/11/2010 19:21

Moo!!!! You must be psycodelic! Ok new word for psychic!! Except cannot spell!

I was thinking of you trundling down a50 tonight, don't worry it was clean! Was going to pm you, bur you have beaten me to it :)

Totally incredible news my lovely that moo bean is 15 weeks already and very very snug xxxxx

Now tell us what did you do differently?

Delighted for you and would love to be joining you on grads thread soon xxxx

nickstermum · 23/11/2010 19:44

Welcome emoo (the other moo was for caribou-moo) Please dont think i was being insensitive!
(although it probably looks that way)

emoo i am so sorry for your recent loss. Its rubbish. We are all here for a reason, for support, we have all experienced similar loss (some early and some late). This thread has been a life saver for me and i hope you get the same comfort from it. The ladieesss on here are top banana and very very knowledgeable. We are all on the quest for that bfp and heres hoping we all get one very soon.xxx

nickstermum · 23/11/2010 19:53

Pink , Celsius therm is chart in f? Must have switched it by mistake

nickstermum · 23/11/2010 20:09

ooh check this out

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 23/11/2010 20:10

nix just realised I didn't answer your question - I'm Envy of your lovely big temp jump - mine just crawls reluctantly over the coverline and fannies around just above it for a week before plummeting back down Grin

Emoo · 23/11/2010 20:50

MummyinEngland, Pink.., Hiding.., Izzy.., MamaP.., nickster..
Thanks to all for your kind words and lovely welcome. I like the idea of the WTF cycle, so I?ll put myself in that bit of the list so I don?t get too disappointed if/when things are all over the place. Yes, I?m still bleeding but not very much now. I have to wee on a stick this weekend and hope it?s negative. If it?s positive I have to contact the hospital. It?ll be the first ever time I?ve been desperate for a BFN.

Caribou - congrats! This is exactly why I am here ? to hear some good news and see what is possible! Now, we just need some more ladies to follow suit please..

nickster - no offence taken re the moo! I wanted to be an emu, but the name had to be 4 letters long Grin.

Anyone for wine??

OrangeToeNails · 23/11/2010 20:54

So... I had pant snot yesterday, followed by spotting and pain in side today. I'm CD7. Daren't add to FF, any ideas? Sorry for selfish post [meek emoticon]

Orange are you peesticking lovely? Or furtling in the old fanjolinajolie for a rummage of the old cervix?

Seems early lovely, I get patches of pant snot, and TMI Blush open twitchy fanjo during the beginning of the month but negative OPKS. Are you starting to temp?

Grin

YUM!

I have a sore throat and tingly boobs! But no am not symptom checking at all, no not me.... so last cycle huh A&R

emoo or now to be known as bird it took 2 weeks from date of MC to get my bfn but i was 12 weeks. Sooner you get it you will feel closure and when you are ready can TTC again x

My background - Age 34 plump, dark and boring to look at (also boring to listen to Grin) DS age 3 textbook conception, pg but diff labour & start. Natural MC pg 2 at 12 weeks Aug 10. General cycles 35 days. Now as a result of these ladies, charting temps, opk'ing, and pinpointing ov!

AandRMum · 23/11/2010 21:27

emoo sorry you find yourself here but make yourself comfy Impressed at your speedy updating skills - I still haven't had the guts to ruin post the list!

Mouse how are you doing, lovely?

MamaP Grin can just imagine PapaPs expression. Grrr re houses. Fx for a nice affordable house to fall in love with. I once ended up on M4 rather than M40 and kept wondering why the distance to go kept increasing!

izzy I'm popping over to yours next time I need to whip something. You are a talented lot - parsnip carving, costume making, poem writing - feel rather privileged to have met you all!
