A safe haven for those just off the mc rollercoaster and thinking about getting back on or are already on the TTC rollercoaster. Be warned these lovely ladies chat, and the thread moves lightening fast, but all are welcome to join in any time Smile

For those who have just mc'd, there is great info about your first cycle here

If you want to add yourself into the stats, just copy and paste the lot, change everyones CD (cycle day) if necessary and add yourself in.
WTF = first cycle after mc
WTTC = waiting to TTC
CD = cycle day
UCL = usual cycle length

and this is what FF is saying....

www.fertilityfriend.com/ttc/interpretation_module.php

now am confused!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 16/11/2010 16:25

pink your chart looks a bit bizarre but good - temps are still up, there's still hope, so try to keep the zen flowing...

nicks on ff click on sharing, then something like home page and it will give you a link to paste that should look like this:

www.fertilityfriend.com/home/310db9

you have to put and around it when typing to get the link...

(that's my chart and it's pretty boring, although I am fascinated that my acupuncturist predicted yesterday that it would go up today)

inbetweener fab news Grin. Hope you're feeling better about everything x

Wombat33 · 16/11/2010 16:34

Hurrah for Inbetweener!! Glad your GP is finally being nice!

Knitter interesting to hear about your counselling and that you think it's a good idea. I was offered it but haven't taken it up [yet?]. I have been thinking about it though as the longer I go on not getting pg again (and I know it's only a short time compared to what some on here have had to bear) the harder I'm finding it all to bear and the more paniky I get about the future. I'm with Hiding, any counselling type stuff I've ever had in the past has been hopeless, but your counselling sounds great. Maybe I will contact the hospital again and set the wheels in motion.

Maybe I need to go undies shopping too Grin
I've also started running again, but an now worrying that the exertion is going to stop me ov-ing this cycle which would not be good as DH has managed to arrange his work so he's not out of the country when I ov if I ov on time. Dec and Jan are going to be difficult for the same reasons so I really need to get pg this month!! Gaah! I am as desperate as I sound Hmm Blush

PFF and MamaP (((Big hugs))) I so understand what you mean xxx

PFF I think your chart looks good! I've never had a month without a few 'random' temps thrown in, although it is a bit of a nightmare when they come late in the cyclle just as you're getting your hopes up.

Nix extra SWI just in case??

inbetweener · 16/11/2010 16:36

pink I am on cycle three of ttc. My miscarriage was on cycle 2 ? Have I done my stats wrong then ?

Sorry.Blush

Velvetcu · 16/11/2010 17:32

www.fertilityfriend.com/home/31a8bd

This is my chart. Still bleeding a little, no lumps yet. Temps are going down a bit now tho so at least it makes more sense!

I need more undies!!!

OrangeToeNails · 16/11/2010 17:52

Evening everyone, just had my first exam in 16 yrs Hmm and one more to go on thurs, then can go back to being fully obsessed with ttc and willing AF to hurry up but not til fri cos dh is going away soon and I want to time it right :)

Welcome nurse and sorry that you find yourself here, but if these ladies make you half as welcome as they did me you will be right at home.

I had 1st mc very early on, followed by 1 AF a week later (?!) then pg straight after. I then had a mc and erpc at 13 weeks, small baby and sac with no heartbeat. Is that what a blighted ovum is?

dachs I hope things went well despite everything, I sent you my luck before I started [hopeful emoticon] and like you said 2 are better than none

inbetweener I don't find you insensitive at all, it's nice to see a good luck story and if I was pg so soon I'd be nervous of graduating yet

pink I'm still rooting for a BFP for you if not now then before Xmas

PinkFondantFancy · 16/11/2010 17:58

betweener no biggie, I was confused that's all!! X

AandRMum · 16/11/2010 18:16

Izzy are you one of the Kingston crowd and if so then I need the number of you acupuncturist. Had a good giggle at the SWI text - DH would freak and have performance anxiety if he received an invite from an acupuncturist! It is sooo lovely when someone cares enough to get so involved. You come to expect the blasé attitude of the medical profession.

nurse welcome

pink nix I am sure there is a business to be had from interpreting charts! I am wondering when I will succumb and join the trend. I would love to know if my temps are up or whether my af is about to arrive.

AandRMum · 16/11/2010 18:19

iPhone text split

Orange well done on surviving your exam. I couldn't imagine doing one at the mo.

Hope af take note of dhs' schedules and cooperate

Off to choir .... Waves to all

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 16/11/2010 18:34

AandRmum no, sadly I am in Bristol, so probably not much use to you! Believe me, I have no intention of telling dh, it would completely freak him out Grin. But like you say it is nice that someone is at least listening and trying to help - I think she sees it more as a whole project she's taken on, to sort out my cycle and help me conceive, rather than just seeing it as a fortnightly appointment. That's how it feels anyway, but we will have to see if we get any results from it all.

knitter good to hear from you, lovely, sorry AF got you but it's great that the counselling's going well.

orange well done on the exam Smile

velvet it all sounds pretty inconclusive at the minute -has AF arrived properly or is it spotting?

OrangeToeNails · 16/11/2010 18:54

Thanks!

Sorry silly question but am new to this, FF tells me I'm fertile because I have ewcm and cramps. I had OPK+ on 5th, so assumed I might get AF around fri (2 weeks). we kinda did it without protection at weekend (sorry tmi) as assumed no chance of pg Blush Should I just ignore FF for now? I thought it might just be sign of AF if anything...

nickstermum · 16/11/2010 19:08

How the Feck can you get positive OPKS for two days with all fertile signs and not have ovulated?!

what the feck is that all aboot?

Somebody talk to me cos its making me a little kerrrrazy!

Is it poss to get more than 1 lh surge in a month? Is it poss to get lh surge and no egg?. Why are my opks negative now when FF is saying i am on 2nd high of 3 pre ov? (ish)

I was chucking in the towel earlier, fecked off with it all...should just relax, enjoy my DS and feel blessed lucky to have him,(which i do of course) rather than getting stressed out of my box cos i cant tell what my body is doing, why is it giving me false signals?!?!?!?!?!?!

betweener if you MC cycle 2 and conceived cycle 3 then its only a month since you MC...but you are 3+ weeks pg?!?!? Grin sorry if i am being thick Grin

orange i fell foul of that with FF. Cos i was getting EWCM on day 11 it told me i was fertile! rubbish in,.. rubbish out?

FF has told me off also for temps being not the same time each morning (cant bloddy help clock change!) thats what causes mountains apparently!

I will get the hang of it... otherwise i am jacking!!! Grin

nickstermum · 16/11/2010 19:09

PS to all the GF sluggers out there, dont i have switched to pink GF juice and its yummy! Yellow stuff is skanky!

Yes back on GF juice ....... GRRRRR

Wombat33 · 16/11/2010 19:12

Nix in answer to your questions (though I'm totally up for someone who's actually read TCOYF to correct me!), I think you can get an LH surge and not ov (eg because stress or something delays it) and then you might get a second surge to actually bring on ov as the first one didn't work iyswim?

DachshundsRule · 16/11/2010 19:13

wombat I'm trying to stay stress free but it's not as easy as it sounds. It doesn't help that I'm pissed off with my boss because she won't let me take Christmas Eve as holiday and if things don't work out DH and I just wanted to go away somewhere on our own over Christmas so we're not in the house brooding about family stuff, but if i can't take Xmas Eve we can't do that

nurse sorry you find yourself here, but everyone is great so welcome to the throng :)

betweener FAB news! :) Take it easy and try to start enjoying it :)

knitter why would you be in the middle of Dartmoor you mad person!

mummya if you're out there lurking I hope it all went fabulously well and that you will soon be well on the way to being updiffed again

PinkFondantFancy · 16/11/2010 19:14

nix thanks for checking up on me! :) did you manage to get your charty home page sorted? Let's have a look! Don't panic about it looking like mine, the more I look at my chart the weirder it looks. No way would I have put ov where ff put it, but would have had period if it was where it looks like temps went up. I am beginning to suspect that the original temp rise coincided with central heating and thick duvet going on..... Boooooooo

velvet to my inexperienced eye your temps look nice and high to me! When are you testing??? Looks like time to me....!! Do it tomorrow!!! Go on go on go on go on!

aandr I highly recommend temping, I think it gives you a massive insight into what's going on as long as it doesn't stress you out. If you decide to do it, click on one of our fertility friend homepages before registering as the other person then gets 30 days free VIP membership. Have a nice time at choir! How did interview go???

orange hope exam went well and good luck for Thursday! Thanks for the crossed fingers. Next month is last chance for BFP before due date dooooooommmmmmmmm. It's also the last chance to change the summary of what I've achieved during 2010 from "unsuccessfully try for a baby all year" to something a bit less depressing....

izz your acupuncturist sounds fab! Mine said she'd never seen anything like it when she saw mine.....! Hehe at the email, was it sent to your personal email????! :)

wombat sorry about cycle messing you about :(

knitter sorry about AF. Thanks for sharing counselling stuff-sounds way more practical than I thought it would be. I haven't asked for any (none was offered) as I was afraid all I would do is sit and sob and tbh the only way I'm getting through this is to think about it as little as possible, let alone talk about it...

mamap thanks for tissues and hug!! Hope you're doing ok too.

dach sorry about horrible experience, have everything crossed for you!!!

Hi nurse sorry you find yourself here, make yourself at home-these ladies are so supportive and kind.

Waves to everyone else including choccy, owly, pretty, mousey and everyone else-there's so many of us here :( if I had one wish we'd all get bfp's tomorrow...

Have a lovely evening all! Xx

Wombat33 · 16/11/2010 19:15

PS yep - I've been drinking pink GF juice. Have you all been drinking yellow?!?!?! It's sooo bitter! BlushBlush Sorry, if I'd realised, I'd have suggested pink befoore now Blush

nickstermum · 16/11/2010 19:17

orange blighted ovum is where the sac is empty and the cells didnt form a baby at all, just disintegrate into the lining , but the sac continues to grow. ie my scan was just fluid in sac and nowt else.

nickstermum · 16/11/2010 19:18

Grin share and share alike experience on here, if only!! WitchyWombo, cant believe you kept that a secret and i have been holding my nose and swallowing Grin Grin Grin ... thinking of the cause!

DachshundsRule · 16/11/2010 19:19

orange congrats on the exam being over! Thanks for the luck, hope you didn't need it yourself! Time for a large glass of the vino for you I think!

nickstermum · 16/11/2010 19:21

will be thinking of GF cocktails as i do....

mumms hope you are ok and not too sore babesX

hairy hope you are also ok

Catch up later xxx

DachshundsRule · 16/11/2010 19:22

you could always leave the knickers off... ;)

PinkFondantFancy · 16/11/2010 19:28

Blimey crossed posts with about 17 posts!! orange next cycle I'm only going to tell ff my temps as I think other info makes it base its decision on more than just your temps and like you say, from tcoyf it sound like ewcm can be a bit misleading. Next cycle I'm going to try an be brave and check my cervix as it sound like it's the only vaguely reliable thing to go on....

nix huge hugs I know exactly how you feel. Are you actually my twin??? Our bodies seem to have exactly the same messed up ideas about how to stress us out!! I agree with wombo that you can have more than one surge unfortunately. I think tcoyf says that the only way of confirming ov is with a temp rise. Totally agree with you about needing time out to actually enjoy life, just not sure how to do it...

nickstermum · 16/11/2010 19:34

dachs sweet little innocent me....still after 10 years of marriage me and seduction are laughable Grin

fondant we are siamese! Grin catch up later lovelyxxxxxx

nickstermum · 16/11/2010 19:36

pink actually, my cervix checkin has also mislead me..... need a good teacher i think Grin

TTFN!
