TTC a 2011 baby

Hi all
I didn't want to hop on a bus because i'm not really aiming for a specific month to have a baby in so i thought i'd start a general "trying to conceive a 2011 baby" and see if anyone wants to join me :D

welcome mumtoo4 is this your first or are you - as your name suggests - trying for no 5? anyway hop on as we are a chatty bunch

it is number 5 but my first baby was 3 mth prem and died , i have 2 girls 11 and 6 and a boy 8 , i'm now in a new relationship and we are ttc this will be his first , i had 1 shot of depo back in oct then never had anymore , my cyle came back last month and im now ovulating so the first response tests say , so i guess we'll see how it goes , i look forward to chatting to you all x

I think i'll try & resist the urge to test before due date but i'm sooo not very good at all this working out dates etc i've never had to do it before and im a very unorganised person. Any ideas roughly how far in front of your period you start to get the cramps (you know the ones you get when you just know that you're gonna come on) cos i've not had any of those this month yet, but on the other hand I really don't feel pregnant either sighs haha

Well I stopped taking the pill a few months before Christmas with the intention of just "seeing what happens" BUT....as with most married, working couples with a toddler we don't get to do the deed very often due to being knackered etc hahaha.

So this month is the first 'planned' attempt at trying if you like, which is why im so hopefull hahaha but like i said in my previous post I really don't feel very pregnant and maybe it's too early to tell i'm just so impatient & want to know....like.....yesterday hahaha

i haven't got a clue how people cope with loads of kids, i pull my hair out at times with one lol let alone 5??? mumtoo4 hats off to you, you must be VERY organised and good at it haha now go have sex !!! :o

Is it like having three dogs? I know that is hard work.

There is the bickering over toys, jealousy over nuggles, trauma at bath time, constant snitching on each other, getting them to their clubs and all their homework etc

well nothing come up on tests so have bloods on 15th but am seeing GP on mon so will be asking for a scan as definitive proof. It is really winding me up now so i need to know

it is hard work sometimes with my 3 sometimes but we both decided we want a baby this will be the last when i finally do become pregnant haha ! well i think this is last day of ovulating so will be having loads sex tonight , and then wait for af hopefully wont arrive lol , good luck to everyone x

OH unicorn I can't believe you have to wait until 15th for bloods. You must be so frustrated, been thinking of you lately, really hoped you would come back on here and say you knew what was going on, really feel for you. (((((Big hugs)))))

Well i'm in my 2WW, DH has gone away for the weekend, managed to get through yesterday without POAS but now have the rest of today and tonight to get through, the PG tests in the drawer are calling me!!!! Normally I have DH here to stop me! HELP! I know it would be pointless as I am only 1 week into the 2ww but it's sooooo tempting!

Weimy You made me laugh, it's hard enough with my one dog! She always wants to sleep in our bed, always have to think of things to keep her occupied, totally agree with the trauma of bath time (she's petrified of water!) and so much mess with all of her toys! Don't get me started on her and the kitten always fighting! How will we cope with a baby as well!?

Was due AF yesterday n sign so done a test this morning negative was 1 f those early ones i got them off ebay

i'm starting to wonder if the ovulation tests work because this morning iv had some clear slimy discharge which i always thought you have this when you ovulate so did a ovulation test said negative ,what do u ladies think ? x

Hmmmm yeah apparently yes you're supposed to get that discharge when you ovulate so im as confised as you now [confised] BUT if you've been having loads of sex over the w/e you'll be covered anyway even if you ARE ovulating today.
Just keep having sex just in case lol :)

they don't always work, I've never had a definitive +ve on them.

i guess i'll see if af arrives on 20th , but keep having sex lol :)

Af came 2day start back on the clomid 2morrow

Went back to GP today. Apparently round here the GP isn't allowed to refer you for a scan it has to be a midwife. Gp did do bloods herself so should hear about them in the next couple of days. hopefully they will finally show it up and things can get moving as can't be referred to midwife until positive test shows up.

Can I just ask wot AF means please?

AF means aunt flo (period)

hahaha should have guessed thanks for that.

Anyway, i keep thinking that ive had my AF because there is some spotting there so I put in my tampax, then when i go to change it there's nothing there????? any ideas?
