Hi all
I didn't want to hop on a bus because i'm not really aiming for a specific month to have a baby in so i thought i'd start a general "trying to conceive a 2011 baby" and see if anyone wants to join me :D

I have not got a proper AF yet just tiny bits of spotting so thats 31 days so far :(.

I am going to get a thermometer and the sticks off ebay, so I can check that I ovulate.

I am 36 this year, been off the pill for at least a year a little worried that I have left it too late.

Hi weimy unfortunatly it means evil af has arrived. Not happy bunny :(. Oh well onto month 6. Have u tried a test just in case?

And I'm sure you havnt left it too late hun, it might just be taking a while for no reason like me. I'm only 25 so of course thought it wouldnt take long - quite clearly I was wrong.

Cooking a full christmas turkey dinner for my family so a tad stressed Grin could really do with a drink to settle my nerves but trying to be sensible, just in case...

Hi Iwish sorry AF got you. Have a few drinks tonight to see in the new year and drown your sorrows. That's my plan tonight anyway.

I've ordered myself a Basal thermometer off the net so I can chart that and check how things are going on fertility friend.

I'm confident 2011 will be a good year for all of us trying.

Weimy I'm 36 in 2011 too and worry about having left it too late. But we've only been trying a couple of months and I know a couple of friends in their 40's that had kids this year so trying not to worry too much. Hope the spotting doesn't turn into AF for you.

I turned 35 a few days ago. Have been completely wound up for a few months that we might have 'left it too late'. I know it is probably not true but it doesn't stop me stressing about it!

Never mind, will drink wine tonight to take my mind off it!

I ov'd on christmas day so is that 6 or 7 days since? Just got a week to go before testing...
Cheers re dinner, so far so good, although I did find my cat face down in the raw turkey earlier - have not told my mother that!
I know what you mean about leaving it too late - i'm 34 & OH is 41, but its the first time we've both been with someone where we're both ready for a family.

Just realised my lp was only 11 days! I'm sure I was drawn to charting to show me that! The past few months I keep thinking things are happening for a reason - I hope that doesn't sound too random.

Dinner was a success, phew! I think i've got to leave testing until next weekend, I kind of think that if I start testing now, i'll never stop...
Had a dream I was pregnant last night, just a few weeks, but I was really upset when I woke up as it wasn't true :-( think i'm losing my marbles...

Glad the dinner was a sucess :) Ooh pregnancy dream could mean something... My ttc buddy had a dream she was pg and she was. She also dreamt a colleage was and guess what!!

Drowned my sorrows with some wine tonight, good job this phone corrects my spellings lol

Iwish glad you had a nice couple of glasses this evening. I must confess I did so myself when the cooking got a bit much! Be kind to yourself today.
I suspect the dreams are nothing more than the result of me fixating on this the past week. I honestly feel that this is not my month, don't know why, feel completely normal, no different. Will be due PMT in a day or so, seeing whether I want to embed a pick-axe in OH should be a fair indicator Grin

hello

not posted on here for ages as been ill and away and stuff, but thought i'd update you that i got a BFP on christmas eve!!

I am excited but also terrified as i thought i had no chance that month (shows how accurate working out your fertile times are - i did not SWI while in a fertile phase) and had swine flu, was taking tons of remedies, then got better and drank loads as was convinced no chance!

also i have no symptoms and with ds had hyperemesis, so i'm very worried something is wrong with the baby. just have to wait and see i guess.

really hope it happens for all of you soon (and ignore fertile calculators - just do it all month)

Hi guys,

So sticks and therm not here yet but have decided to swi every other day, pos start tonight as OH is quite keen to surprise me when he gets in from work tonight (not really a surprise if I know!!!)

Back in work tomorrow so hopefully that will stop me stalking MN, I am getting very obsessive.

Going to get some conception suplements tomorrow as well, have been taking folic but going to see what else there is.

I'm also feeling a bit obsessive on here - its been a bit constant, plus I've had my parents staying for the week and I keep having to hide the screen from them!

Hope the sticks and therm turn up soon, but I like the idea of SWI in the mean time. OH and I had a serious chat about SWI-ing last night and have a plan of action next month.

In the meantime I caved and bought HPTs Sad. I mean, I know I'm not pregnant, but maybe I just need a pee stick to confirm that.

Am not going to obsess over this, am not going to obsess over this

Hurrah! Someone else who is planning! Had my coil removed at the end of Nov and have been 'seeing how it goes' since. However, am slightly more uptight about it than my partner and becoming v impatient! x

Hi guys, would like to join in if that's ok. I have endometriosis and am currently having only my second period over 10 years! I was told at 23 (I'm now 37) that I would probably never conceive. I stopped taking my mini pill 2 weeks before my wedding in Oct 2007, was married on the Friday and pregnant by the Monday, a massive, yet very welcome fluke. DS was born, full term in July 2008 and we've just taken the decision to try for number 2. I've been on the mini pill since I gave birth as despite breastfeeding, my period returned and was heavy and painful. Alas, I have no idea about my cycle or when I'm actually going to have the energy/time/husband in same city to do the deed. I don't expect lightening to strike twice and get pregnant straight away so I guess I'll be here till it happens, learning all the things I need to know about the hows and whens. Good luck everyone.
