TTC a 2011 baby

Hi all
I didn't want to hop on a bus because i'm not really aiming for a specific month to have a baby in so i thought i'd start a general "trying to conceive a 2011 baby" and see if anyone wants to join me :D

Think I Ov'd yesterday but just waiting for my temps to confirm. Keeping everything crossed I'm pg!

hi mslk im holding out for now, as have had it pointed out 2 me that i could take early test from wed (2 days!!!!!) im holding out so far, i know chances of bfp then are v.slim, but if i keep giving myself little goals i may manage to hold out til closer 2 af due date! (we shall c).

mmm cheese, im off 2 get some now. lactofree cheese tho as it is the evening!

oh hang on, using ovulation calender on here and not knowing my lutal phase i may have missed chance 4 this month :'( heres hoping we did do enough b4 (am full of coldy flu thing so havent fancied swi)

Hi broody. It's always possible! One of the lovely ladies on the other thread I'm on got pg from sex 4 days before OV! When was the last time you SWI before you were due to OV?

I think about 2-3days b4. V.v.strong metalic taste this morning, never had that b4. Made toothpaste taste weird,yet weetabix perfectly fine!

I should be due on on the 28th of Dec, I am wondering whether or not to test before that. Could upset me before xmas or make sure I don't drink more than I should wdyt?

hi weimy its gr8 2 b able 2 chat 2 someone in teh same situation-also due on 28th! not sure y i did it as i know its waay 2 early, but i did test 2day with a cheapo amazon test-bfn of course!
depending on which test u use and what it says on the box u can test from 2moro, tho u should know that IF it says -ve u could still b pregnant as they dont pick up all pregnancies that early. i was planning testing boxing day, but as we're now going out 4 the day it'll wait til 27th-only 1 day early, unless af arrives b4 that

Hi Broody I think I might test on the 24th then. Cool to be going through it with someone at the same time :). I do have tender boobs and have been feeling queasy for a week but I never figured out when I was ovulating so it could be that, and I do tend to feel sick when I am anxious. I have been diagnosed with mild depression and start counselling tomorrow :(.

Hi weimy yeh you should test if you know that you would have a drink, at least you would know :). My af is due on 3rd I think now as I OV'd late. (Sunday I think) so I think I'll test new years eve. I'm just going to drive on Christmas day and boxing day just in case since I will only be 6/7dpo.

Hi broody have you got the 10mlu tests? Are you tempted to test again Xmas day?

Hi yes i do have the 10ml tests, want 2 concentrate on family on xmas day, dont want 2 let it consume me on such a special day (if af was due xmas day it would b a different story tho!)

Think I will test New Years Eve, will be 12dpo then. Well so I say. I'll probably be dragging myself away from the tests kicking and screaming!

Hi all am holding out till tomorrow to test. But finding it hard.Feel sickly and boobs sore but am convinced it is all in my head. Cup half empty an all you know!Did not make my counselling session because of the trains:( but on the bright side hubs xmas present arrived in the post and i had convinced myself it would not. It is my eldest dogs paw print in cobalt blue glass it looks lovely, also got him a horse riding lesson lol!

am off to search the house now as the pup is looking very guilty

Yeh hold out tomorrow and use FMU so its more concentrated fingers crossed for you . I'm only 3dpo and wanting to know what's going on in there lol!
Aww thats sounds like a lovely present. But as for the one the pup may have left for you - maybe not so lovely...

Well I'm going giving some prezzies out tonight so just pulling on my red and White mrs claus dress and firing up the sleigh.

tested this morning and was -ve :( . But on the up side I can carry on horse riding for a bit longer, I will be able to start my GCSE and A Level students off on their coursework in sept and not worry, and spend more time with you guys!

Hi weimy. If af isn't due till 28th there's still chance you could get a bfp :). You tested 5 days early so maybe you will get bfp If you wait a few more days. You are very welcome to stay with us if af arrives though.
I hope this is our month, 5 cycles is a long bloody time .

Hello everyone... first time posting here so please be gentle with me.

Came off the pill in August and have been TTC since then. Was absolutely convinced I was pregnant this month and then AF made an unwelcome appearance on 22 December, the day before my 35th birthday. Pretty much cried my way through my birthday which was a bit shit really.

Things are made even more difficult as my younger sister is pregnant for a second time and is struggling to understand why I am so sad by that.

Really hoping for a BFP as soon as possible, although feel resigned to the fact that it isn't going to happen. Have been using ovulation tests and also made the decision to start temping too.

Anyway, hello - hope to find some support, and laughter here :)

waiting for ov at the mo. Hi auntiedoris i know how you feel, friend of mine just found out she's 19 weeks preg with a happy accident, so happy for her but sad and envious that she didnt even have to try :(

evening all - and on christmas eve!!!!

i just got a VERY possible, VERY faint BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
just took one of the cheapy amazon early detection tests, once the strip had cleared of the dye all that was left was the control line, went back 2 it a couple of minutes later (but still within the time frame) and saw a very faint 2nd line!!!!!!
am now desperate 2 test with 1st response, but as line so faint and af not due til 28th am doing my best 2 resist the urge- and told dh could test on boxing day, so will save 1st response til then (if BFP then WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, if -ve then will await arrival of af 4 a few days b4 re-testing)
could it be an evap line even tho read within time frame?

Congrats broody!! a line is a line!! Test with FMU tomorrow and the urine will be more concentrated so should get a better line. Let us know when you retest

am thinking im prob onl about 8dpo judging by ewcm so prob way 2 soon 4 a +ve, will test again boxing day with fmu-of i remember.

took another this morning, fmu, 10dpo, 2days b4 af due, with 1st response. faint (but defo there) 2nd line. a bfp!!!
who else was due to test today and how did it go?
