Velvet, what cd are you on? Considering I think I may just have ov(who knows) cd11 on 35 dayer, interested to know you lp and what that means if it's very long!!

Waves to everyone!

Bonfire, sorry ds missed out the f works! Good plan tho and well executed in the dark! Today I have ds pals birthday party followed by firework bash! Has Af still not arrived? Test test teat! What cd? Ooh ooh ooh getting very excited!! No pressure hope so ESP cos of looming due date:)

IzzyWizzyletsgetsomesparklers · 06/11/2010 08:21

YRMOTBonfire where are you? Have you tested yet?!! Fx for you!

mummya hoping we'll have some good news from you too - maybe it's just going to take a few days? Hope you're doing ok, hugs and love coming your way x

nix did dh remain cooperative?

pink yep we are wise to the ways of the Evil Shag Dictator now - I am sticking with every other day even when it's on high and only going to more at peak - and this time staying at it until temps rise!!! Hopefully that should give me a better chance than last month without completely wearing us out before the crucial time!!

velvet and nix if you're ov'ing early then in theory your cycle should be shorter and luteal phase should stay it's usual length, so maybe you'll get away with a shorter one this time?

OrangeToeNails · 06/11/2010 08:23

Hi goat do you usually ov that time? My normal cycle is 35, and I'm on day 22 if I count erpc as day 1. I'm doing ov tests for practice and I think I had a positive yesterday - wasn't really really strong but I drink a lot of water. Am hoping that means i'll get AF in 2 weeks. Do you have sparklers? it sounds like you have a great day ahead of you :)

youremindmeofthebonfire · 06/11/2010 09:34

hola, am here!

POAS=BFN

ME=Sad

Back later, off to the gym.

inbetweener · 06/11/2010 09:42

morning all,
AF due today.
I cant! I am actually not joking. I woke in the night needing to pee badly but I couldnt be bothered to get up so held it and went back to sleep.
Woke this morning still bursting, sat on the loo ready to test, nothing has come out !!!! It sounds hysterical I know but I am in agony with tummy pains.
Gonna try again now.

What a farce my life is !!!!

Wombat33 · 06/11/2010 11:50

Morning everyone!

Mummya I'm so sorry you're having such a shitty time. Big big hugs xxx

Dachs good to hear from you! Sorry it's tough but good luck for the egg collection. I've got everything crossed for you!

Everyone else - I'm stuggling to keep up with the thread and make personal comments back to you all, but I'm thinking of you all xxx

inbetweener · 06/11/2010 12:04

I cant pee is what I meant !!

IzzyWizzyletsgetsomesparklers · 06/11/2010 12:49

inbetweener that's bizarre - hope you have managed a wee by now and are not about to pop! Grin

YRMOTB Sad. Will keep fingers crossed it's just too early.

What is going on with all our cycles at the minute?!

Velvetcu · 06/11/2010 13:02

nix I'm cd 19 but my last cycle was 42 days. I have never temped before so have no idea how long my LP is or when I ov'd (if i did at all) in the 2 "normal" cycles I have had post-erpc. I has a temp dip yesterday but its back high again today. Am still sort of SWIing just in case something crazy is going on.

YRMOTB BFNs are soo crushing arent they :( hope you work off some annoyance at the gym.

inbetweener i too hope you have managed to pee!

inbetweener · 06/11/2010 15:16

Yep I have managed to pee............on a stick..............BFN..........off to clean the house in a fury and wait for AF.

Oh by the way, I showed DH the OPK's I got from Amazon.
He thought it was highly amusing but at least he didnt call me a psycho so I guess I will try those. Glad I have told him, hate hiding things. Although I get the distinct impression that the longer this goes on, the less enthusiastic DH will get Sad.

Anyway, fireworks and funfair tonight, followed by a chinese and a large vodke when they are in bed and x factor on catch up. BLISS Grin

goatsarefabthinksnix · 06/11/2010 16:57

between do you have a UTI? sorry it was neg.... maybe early?

Babes sorry :( rubbish!!!!! must be a faulty stick! sending hugs xxxx

velvet bonkers arent they cycles! Will keep eyes peeled on your stats then :)

Izz DH was very obliging last night Grin having said that it hurt! I think def wasnt ov. EWCM was there, cervix felt spongy but neg opks! EWCM was only there for one wipe too, but quite a lot. With my hairy chin, spots i am gonna speak to doc for a pcos test. Doc was sending me on one the month i conceived..then i never went! So there may be some truth in oracles prediction!

wombat sorry you cant keep up, me either and it popped my head earlier in the week. Hope you are ok xx

Any news on hairy and caribou?

fondant are you ok?

goatsarefabthinksnix · 06/11/2010 20:45

orange no i dont usually ov at that time, hence the bizarre posts! I have UCL 35 ish, late ov and last month i ov (confirmed opk) CD2324 thats why i was purturbed. This month cd11 EWCM but neg opk! Bonkers - i think body still getting back to normal post mc - only 2 periods ago see!

I would say that if the opk is still feint and you are drinking lots, (i drink lots but on the day of pos the lines were VERY dark!) i would argue that they arent perhaps a positive? Grin

waves - good bonfire, and kids party! DS very tired and is now developing feint spots,..... been fighting of something and chicken pox round his pre-school..... heres hoping :) bout time it wasnt 'just a virus' and we had one of the biggies!!

Ladybee · 06/11/2010 21:39

hi all - hope you're all wrapped up warm if you're out enjoying fireworks tonight. We considered it but after a busy morning out for brunch with friends, we were both too knackered to consider heading out to our local fireworks display. Actually it wasn't getting out there that was daunting but the trip home again - with a tired and overexcited DS - ugh.
So we've been watching them out the window, it seems enough excitement for DS at this stage Grin

mummyabroad I'm sorry I wasn't around to say goodbye for a bit, I really do hope you keep reading even if you don't feel like posting very often, I'd really hope you let us help you as you move through this journey, and pray that it's to a successful outcome.

Dachs sorry you've been finding this IVF cycle difficult. I'm not surprised - it's a huge undertaking, one I think that isn't really talked about in the media where IVF seems to be viewed almost as a lifestyle choice. I really hope that you get a good lots of eggs to retrieve and that several of them fertilise nicely. Do you read any blogs? I read an old one called A little pregnant, and find it both interesting and helpful, she links to lots of others. Maybe if you don't want to feel the obligation of posting (and believe me, no one expects posting, it's just nice to hear from people from time-to-time) then a one-way blog might work?

I've made a start on TCOYF - I'd borrowed a friend's Zita West book previously which covers quite a lot but with a lot of emphasis on diet as well (pah!), and had done the FF charting lessons. So far it seems pretty much most of what I already knew but good to remind of me the finer details.

Youremindme - that's such a pain about the -ve test. Any sign of AF?

inbetweener sorry. again. Glad you told your DH though. Now you can order some more Grin

nicks get that GP appt sorted and go for the bloodwork, got nothing to lose right?

Right, we have a film on and it has John Cusack and he needs my full attention now. Smile

goatsarefabthinksnix · 07/11/2010 07:15
OrangeToeNails · 07/11/2010 08:55

thanks goat sorry didn't mean to single you out Blush

i've had nothing for 3 weeks, then a fairly dark line for the last 2 days along with ewcm. I'm assuming this will be a bit wtf, so not too concerned yet if I can't tell pos from neg! what I like about here is that people tell the truth not what i want to hear Grin

inbetweener sorry it wasn't positive for you. I've told dh about OPK too, but not thermometer yet. I know what you mean, it's still a novelty for him, he's still looking forward to all the 'trying' but a few months down the line might be a different story.

YRMOTB sorry for the BFN, gym is good therapy

Bacon sandwiches then snowboarding for me today :)

owlboots · 07/11/2010 10:11

Ooo. Orange that sounds like my perfect day :)

PinkFondantFancy · 07/11/2010 10:15

Just a quickie, orange where are you going snowboarding today???? Envy Envy Envy

Thanks nix I'm fine thanks, have got SIL and BIL over for the weekend and we're off out for lunch with the inlaws for lunch so should really shower and go and look presentable! I have destroyed my detox this weekend..... Ho hum, reckon weekday detox has to be better than no detox at all, maybe??!?!

Who is in charge of fish-slapping in here today. Here's my chart - FF tells me I'm only 3 DPO but TBH there was absolutely no EWCM when it said I ov'ed and I think my cervix was much lower. So, my new way of getting my hopes up is that my chart looks suspiciously similar to the tri-phasic pregnancy one in TCOYF Hmm Gah I am so not allowed to start this ridiculous hope getting-up-ness this month, so I've decided that if AF hasn't rocked up and temperatures haven't plummeted, I'm going to resist testing until at least Friday 15th. Biscuit

Hope you're all having a fab weekend, will check in properly tonight xx

Urbanlolly · 07/11/2010 10:20

Hi everyone

Just a wee life-sign. Havent popped in since getting back home and have been extremely busy.
Havent had a chance to read whats happening around here but hope you´re all okay.

I´m trying to be mentally laid back this month and will concentrate on flab-fighting the until Christmas.

need to catch up on whats been going on...

mousebacon · 07/11/2010 10:54

Hi ladies, have tried to catch us as best as poss but think it'll be an epic fail on my part!

Still on WTF cycle here it's 34 days since mc and 22 since erpc. I have had what I thought was ewcm but am no sign of a temp rise and now no cm at all (I guess that's why they call it WTF) am keeping my eyes peeled for any sign of an egg though and am going to go for it rather than wait. I have ridiculously long and unpredictable cycles so don't want to miss a single chance.

Here's hoping for an egg before xmas Smile

sorry for not namechecking. Hope you all have a lovely Sunday xx

goatsarefabthinksnix · 07/11/2010 11:07

Chill factore? or indoor somethibng like that? FAB! cant wait to take DS....sadly not til age 4 in the uk for lessons..... 3 abroad! Pennies allowing will be going to Stowe in winter :)

OrangeToeNails · 07/11/2010 12:13

pink and goats I'm going to Tamworth, so not the same but better than nothing. Where do you normally go? I know someone who took their 1.5 yr old skiing, only a bit and held them all the time

urban thanks for the tip, I'll look for those on FF to compare :)

Hi mousebacon I don't blame you, I'd be trying now if DH would let me :)

PinkFondantFancy · 07/11/2010 12:28

orange I will reduce my Envy Envy Envy down to just Envy Envy, I was preparing for you to tell me that you live in Austria and the runs had just opened..... :) I've never been in the uk, there's a snow dome at Hemel hempsted that I'm quite keen for but have never made it before so keen to hear what you think of tamworth! Hope you have a fab day!!!! Envy

goatsarefabthinksnix · 07/11/2010 13:18

fondant chill factore in manchester is good so am told! bit far for you though! Grin

OrangeToeNails · 07/11/2010 13:22

I wish :( Tamworth not great but only snowdome I've been to and of course nothing compares to real runs. Milton Keynes is meant to be better. If not pg (I wish) in Jan/Feb we might go somewhere

I looked at pics on FF and was a positive OPK Grin
