inbetweener congratulations! Grin Gosh it must all feel a bit wobbly at the mo, but it is something to celebrate. I am really pleased for you!!! xxxxx

LadyB I am sorry you are suffering due date blues. Its rubbish that you have more than one too!!Sad Its so difficult to suffer in increments like this, telling yourself "it will be better if I'm pg by my birthday/duedate/xmas" etc and then watching each milestone slip by. I really hope you get some renewed strength soon, like you said you always bounce back, lets hope the next upward spiral is just around the corner. xxx

Nix I had more YESes than you, had the blood test and turned out not to have PCOS! So, do you ever get more than one LH surge in the month? Are you going to ask for blood tests? I read on another thread that Posh Spice has PCOS. I am not sure what we can learn from that but thought I would throw it in.

owl I am going to join you on the grapefruit juice experiment while in the UK. I cant get it over here!

suspenders still on for YRMOTB and Pink and any other lurkers at testing time. xxxx

I did battle with the costa rican beuarocrats yesterday and am off for round two today. I need about 5 ton of paperwork in order to be able to take DS out of the country. Its only a slightly smaller amount than it took me to get him inConfused The thought of great tea and roast potatoes is spurring me on. Smile

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 10/11/2010 13:51

Woo-hoo inbetweener !!!! That's fab news Grin Grin Grin. Here's to an uneventful 8 months!

YRMOTB sorry about the bfn. Hopefully it too is a slow burner...

Phew - it's a bit of a rollercoaster on this thread at the minute isn't it? I think you're right though AandRmum , if we end up with a baybee at the end of it, whether it's taken a month, or six months, or a year, we'll look back on this time in a few years just like a blip. Fx we'll all be there by then.

youremindmeofthebabe · 10/11/2010 14:04

Hiya Folks!

Thanks for all your kind wishes. I am surprisingly ok about the BFN. I had my full on sobbing, snivelling wreckage last week, so don't feel too bad today. On the other hand I have bought Agnus Castus, Vitamins E B12 an B6 to add to my repertoire and a salivary OPK test, so perhaps subconsciously.. I did contemplate the evil shag dictator and grapefruit juice, but perhaps not this month.

I have finally booked the church hall for ds's bday on Sunday 28th, also due date.I am excited to plan it now!

owls that looks like the best way to enjoy grapefruit juice, IMO.

ladybee sorry about the temp dip, but it's not a sustained one yet, so there's always room for a tiny glimmer of hope! Hope minibee lets you have a semi relaxing day. It's quite nice out, albeit cold. A day for gloves and scarves and running round in the park!Smile

I had a few yeses at that quiz nix and mummya

Hope you're all well. Big hugs to those who need, and sticky dances to those who need them. And love to all. Mwah!

inbetweener · 10/11/2010 14:24

Thanks owlboots I am silently beating myself up over them I can tell you. Really i know it should be fine but every bloody twinge I am convinced that AF is going to appear.
I have now started getting " pains " down below and while the sensible part of me knows its probably the normal early pg symptoms I am absolutely terrifed AF will appear again.

Oh if it helps anyone I also drank the revolting graprefruit juice this month but more importantly and crucial I suppose, the only thing we did different was have sex nearly EVERY night for a month bar about three lol !!!!!!!

Oh and YRMOTB dont forget I tested BFN just two days ago ! It has taken me till I am 5 days over to get a faint BFP.

GetDownYouWillFall · 10/11/2010 14:42

Hi all congrats to inbetweener!

I'm going the whole hog this month with OPKs grapefruit jiuce, pre-seed and the like.

Just wondering if anyone can help me or give advice on my chart here ?

This is a post MC cycle and I've noticed a temp dip on CD 12 (am now on CD15) ... do you think this dip could be HCG finally leaving my system?

Or do you think it's just random?

Just torturing myself over when (if) ov. is going to happen this cycle. I ov'd on CD 16 last month, but with the MC I am assuming it will be later, but no idea what this dip on my chart might mean....

Any thoughts much appreciated xx

nickstermum · 10/11/2010 15:21

owls how YUM! sounding

mummy real grapefruit would work also? This month i am staying off it, am also OPK'ing twice a day at the min due to erratic CM (so far day 11, day 15 neg opks all the time in between) It caused a row with DH as i was being a sex pest on day 11 when he was surely shattered.. hence the OPK'ing. Will continue with those and from CD18 asume fertile time starts there, which it has from the last 2 pg;s and DH will certainly oblige me :)

getdown sadly in the WTF cycle it would seem anything can happen :( hopefully it is the HCG leaving your cycle, but the experts will be along in a min! certainly looks like is coming down to a more normal level. Dont mean to add to your torture but i didnt ov during WTF, TCOYF says that your body gets mixed signals etc during WTF and you may think ov but actually not etc... :( I also shagged too early after bleed (as bleed came sporadically after in terms of spotting) this i think may have contributed to infection...sensitive inside i think!

babes big snuggly hugs xxxx great you will be busy on due date xxxx

nickstermum · 10/11/2010 15:24

Tis a right old rollercoaster today!

Freezingmyarseoff · 10/11/2010 15:39

Oh hairy I'm so sorry to hear your sad, sad news. Big hug and squeeze for you.

I haven't been on for ages and ages. Are you still doing the lists? If so, can someone update my stats. I'm on cycle 5 (I think) about day 23. I've been trying not to think about stats and all but the 2WW is getting to me this time Confused

GetDownYouWillFall · 10/11/2010 15:39

thanks nickstermum Smile bit depressed at the prospect I might not ov at all this cycle. So frustrating.

nickstermum · 10/11/2010 15:57

freez yes we still do the stats, yesterday's are up there somewhere, but tis so darn busy on here its probably 3 pages back!!

Wombat33 · 10/11/2010 16:33

It's been such a busy day in fact Freezing that Nix has forgotten that she did the stats today Grin. I've reposted them below and updated you.

x-post!

Wombat33 · 10/11/2010 16:37

Sorry yrotb - great minds! :)

OrangeToeNails · 10/11/2010 18:03

inbetweener that's awesome news ! Grin Grin so pleased for you, and not the slightest bit jealous, honest, really Envy

lady I hope it's just a blip, and she stays away to give you a BFP

Do you do stats for waiting? I'm ttc #1, erpc 15th Oct, waiting for 1st AF. If not, I'll wait for it then add myself :) I've got it all planned thinking AF'll come next Fri, don't know why.

Velvetcu · 10/11/2010 18:20

Congrats Inbetweener

Boo to BFN YRMOTB could it be to early??

Hope you are being looked after today Hairy

Sorry but more questions from me the FF virgin! I still have brown stuff (not loads and not very dark) and was wondering if AF can come without your temps going down as mine are still high? She isnt due til next Tues according to FF but I dont want to be getting my hopes up.

kat2504 · 10/11/2010 18:31

Congrats inbetweener am so pleased for you :) :)

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 10/11/2010 18:31

velvet don't want to be getting your hopes up but it sounds promising. Temps staying up definitely sounds good. Mine always dip day before or first day of AF. Fx for you! Any idea when you ov'd?

Velvetcu · 10/11/2010 18:46

Day 14 according to FF Izzy so AF due next Tuesday.

I also am sooo desperate for it to be this month too because of due date in Dec and birthday in 2 weeks and I am really trying to stay negative about it all but its really annoying when your body is giving you the right signs!

I have looked at some other charts and it is just random as to when peoples temps go back down - some start at 9 dpo and some on the day of AF so I just dont know! Will have to wait another week and see.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 10/11/2010 18:55

Well if you're day 23 today that's 9dpo, so 14dpo is Monday, not Tuesday. Surely you're not going to hang on any longer than that if things are looking promising?Grin

nickstermum · 10/11/2010 19:14

Cor wombot did i forget that already... jeepers! Memory loss is def kicking in ! (is that a symptom?!)

PinkFondantFancy · 10/11/2010 19:16

Hello all! this place had been manic today! Congrats to inbetweener, although I also have to confess to being Envy of both your first cycle success and also your AF being late because of pg rather than just having a randomly messed up cycle... Here's hoping your feint line gets increasingly stronger and that you have an uneventful 8 months!

Erm, just trying to remember what else has been going on today! owly completely agree with not reaching for all the mumbo jumbo just yet (she says munching on almonds, sipping pineapple juice and studying acupuncture wounds....), I reckon I'm only going to eat the random Chinese pills if a) a western fertility dr says they're ok or b) I end up being prescribed western drugs for something. I am exactly the same about not even eating paracetil unless I really have to...

Hope all you lovelies are ok tonight. Am looking forward to a night of pad Thai and holby city (might try and be asleep before apprentice....)

Anyone here play angry birds on their phones?? I am stuck on level 2-20 and it's driving me mad!!! Sorry for off topic post.... :)

DachshundsRule · 10/11/2010 19:16

birthday in 2 weeks velvet? me too! (well, 16 days actually, but who's counting...)

let's hope for some good news for our birthdays

I was expecting to be able to test on my b'day but everything is a couple of days later than I expected so it'll be a couple of days after

Collection at 9am on Friday, embryo transfer probably some time on Monday, unless they are REALLY good quality in which case it will be Wednesday. Assuming any develop at all. Which I'm hoping will happen.

hug to all...

nickstermum · 10/11/2010 19:16

velvet ooh 9dpo..... i bet a FR test would pick that up in a couple of days. Agree with Izz if they stay high for 18 days (is it after AF?) that is a sure fire sign of pg!

Everything crossed lovely xx

nickstermum · 10/11/2010 19:21

fondant dont be too Envy i think looking at the list between was cycle 3... which is still pretty fab!

know what you mean though lovely, delighted for all the bfp'ers but dont half wish it was me! My luck has changed today anyway. 2 good things have happened so far, they come in threes so whats next?!?!?!?!

I wish! Grin
