Izzy thanks, and yes, they did go up again this morning, thank goodness! I was soooo relieved when I saw that temperature. I have to confess that I did some snuggling under my duvet before I took it, but don't feel too bad because I've done that before and it's made no difference to a low temp.

I don't think it's an implantation dip though, (and believe me, I searched and searched about that Grin) - FF stats showed the vast majority of them happen on days 7-8, and my biggest symptom of a pregnancy has always been the feeling of AF coming a week early (ie. around implantation). I've got my fingers crossed I see it in a couple of days but at least am feeling a bit happier I'm not freezing any chance I had away.

I've just got a copy of the brick TCOYF too, got it off ebay (sorry if I beat anyone!) It's hiding under my bedside table at the moment.

Wombat33 · 05/11/2010 10:48

kat2504 Totally know what you mean about the trantrums! I had similar at 4.30am this morning when I was in the bathroom again for the third time in the night - blooddy AF!!!

Apple good luckk for your scan!! I hope it's wonderful and reassuring for you and the blue cclouds lift a little xx

Izzy glad you found the shoes. Your story did make me chuckle :)

Nix Hugs. Hope cycles (and DH's attitude!) sort out soon. Grapefruit juice sounds like it's doing the trick for you!!

Owl love the goat pics!!! You are totally right! what my life was lacking was dam-climbing goats! I never realised it until now!!! :o

Hi to Orange, Velvet, Lady, Pink, AandR and Inbetweener. Hugs to all!

goatsarefabthinksnix · 05/11/2010 11:18
Grin

in honour of owl boots :)

inbetweener · 05/11/2010 11:56

Ok I REALLY need a talking too.

A girl in my office just announced she is 12 weeks pg and pulled out her scan pics. Everyone is cooing as its the 3rd one this month !! Dont think boss is impressed !
Maybe its just as well its not me as well or he would combust.

Soooooooo, I ran to the chemist in the pouring rain for a test.

It was BFN.........obviously.Sad Envy

owlboots · 05/11/2010 12:24

Hehehehe Grin

And yes, the boot shopping was successful hence the namechange.

Hope everyone's feeling a bit more chipper this morning :)

Inbetweener :( for the bfn

Anyone know if the fecking grapefruit juice makes one snottier as well as affecting the ewcm? Or maybe it's just me. Am so fed up of blowing my nose now.

IzzyWizzyletsgetsomesparklers · 05/11/2010 13:00

((( inbetweener ))) hope you're ok x

I have been to yoga and am feeling caaaaaalm.......>>

owl I do not know about the grapefruit juice/snot thing but I imagine that could be the case. I know when people take the cough medicine it is a decongestant so doesn't just "improve" cm but makes more mucus all over, including nose. I suppose grapefruit juice probably acts the same way; there's no real reason why it should just be restricted to your fanjo is there? Grin.

nix get yourself a new thermometer ordered! X

goatsarefabthinksnix · 05/11/2010 13:09

Done babes! Twill not be here fir a couple days tho! Damn and Buggeration!

PinkFondantFancy · 05/11/2010 13:14

inbetweener I don't understand why people feel the need to wop out their scan pics, I really can't believe anyone else is that interested and it's got such a huge potential for upset. I know I so won't be doing that when my time comes.

MummyAbroad · 05/11/2010 14:12

Hi ladies,

Still no AF feeling very gloomy about it. Sorry for not keeping up with the banter, if I am really honest its getting harder and harder to watch all your cycles zoom around, I know you all feel rubbish about getting AF, but I'm starting to feel jealous Shock Confused as weird as that sounds...

DH and I have been talking about what the next move is, whether to spend our life savings on treatment in the UK or whether to give up trying for another DS.Sad Forgive me if I just lurk for a while, until we make some big decisions. I will be checking up on you all though to see how you are doing.

A few last words from me before I go though...

Izzy I think you should go to your doctor (or a new one) and tell them you feel really tired and anaemic - exagerate lots - and try to get a blood test to see if you are deficient in any important B vitamins. This may be what is affecting your luteal phase.I saw another lady on MN ages ago who needed to have injections to boost B12 I think, but the blood test helped identify the problem. The diet ideas sounds really good too. (although I'd take Zita West with a pinch of salt, she sounds a bit scary)

Nix Lots of EGCM patches throughout the month can be a symptom of PCOS. Have you ever had any investigations this? I think you should buy a book on it and have a look and see if the issues involved seem familiar. Your long cycles may just be long, and nothing to do with this condition, but reading about it may help you identify a problem sooner rather than later. People with PCOS or long cycles are advised to SWI as regularly as you can manage throughout the month and try not to worry to much about ov timing. (Its supposed to be much better for your relationship too!)

much love to everyone, thank you for all your lovely lovely support. Smile

IzzyWizzyletsgetsomesparklers · 05/11/2010 14:59

mummya - don't go!!!! We will miss you and your boundless wisdom way too much and you never know, AF might be just around the corner . Hope you're doing ok chica (well, as ok as you can). I know you must feel rubbish but try not to give up hope.

We're here for you any time you need to rant (((((hugs))))) xx

goatsarefabthinksnix · 05/11/2010 15:13

Ah mummy it's rubbish you feel like that:( hopefully be here tomorrow? Pcos has crossed my mind! Have the facial hair !!! Cervix is high tho and open! Funny enough the month we conceived we shagged twice day 12 and day 18 and I always thought it was day 18 conceived due to day 40 cycle, maybe it was day 12! I had egg White both dates!

Neg opk's tho today. Will ask doc to check!

Ps we love you oracle mummy please don't leave us! Stay lurking xxxx

goatsarefabthinksnix · 05/11/2010 15:18

DachshundsRule · 05/11/2010 18:17

sorry I've not been posting lately

hello to everyone!

have been finding the ivf really hard and getting depressed about it all, but i thought it was about time I delurked for a bit!

they will probably be collecting the eggs next wed, thu or fri so fx it all goes to plan...

How are you all? I haven't been keeping up with the thread too well 'cos I've just been getting home from work and flumping on the sofa. sorry Blush

appleblossoms · 05/11/2010 18:25

Oh mummy I feel so sad for you Sad Sad I'm crossing my fingers af turns up in the next couple of days. Seems so unfair that you are our oracle but you have the strangest situation. Sending you the hugest of hugs and you don't disappear altogether. You've been so supportive of everyone, we really need to support you now. x x x

IzzyWizzyletsgetsomesparklers · 05/11/2010 18:31

dachs - pleased to hear the IVF is progressing and you're getting close to egg collection. It probably feels like it's taken ages to you though! The next stage must be very exciting, if rather nerve-wracking. I'll be thinking of you - do let us know how you get on x

PinkFondantFancy · 05/11/2010 19:13

Evening all!

izz sorry the old grotbag got you :( fingers crossed next cycle will be the one. At least we've both learned not to panic when the stupid shag dictator says high-means in my case you've prob got at another 10 days until anything exciting happens... I did yoga too today-I love it!! It's v good for chilling out and acu says it's good for something else like balancing yin or whatever......

bee fab news on temps! TCOYF is nothing like as daunting to read as it looks, it's really well written I think and like nix said, quite empowering!

wombat hope AF eases off soon, is it v heavy?

apple everything crossed for your scan Hun

owl wouldn't surprise me if it affects your nose too. Having said that I've heard a few people say this time of year there's a kind of hayfever by it's actually an allergy to leaf mould, could be that?

mummya ((((((HUGE HUGS))))) for you :( I completely understand why you want to give it a miss around here for a bit, although I have everything crossed for you that AF arrives any day and you get your happy ending, you are such a lovely lady you certainly deserve it. Thank you so much for all your help and reassurance over the last few months, you have been an absolute rock and I'm so glad I've 'met' you. I am thinking of you and your DH while you weigh up your options. Once I've been to my private clinic I'll PM you info about what they're like in case you decide the UK route. Please keep us updated on what you're thinking, and feel free to vent here if you ever need to xxxxxxxxxxxxx

dachs sorry you're feeling down, I hope next week goes well!!!

Urghghgh am on train home and the guy sitting next to me has his legs straddled so far apart that I am squished in the corner trying to avoid contact, which actually is futile since he's fallen asleep on me. Gross gross gross. Wish I had the bottle to give him a sharp elbow in the ribs......

goatsarefabthinksnix · 05/11/2010 19:19

hi ladies, better mood this evening, DH has offered his body tonight!! Grin

Whoop

dachs sorry you been feeling rubbish :( fab you are getting egg collection done though and hope you arefeeling ok physically and mentally, i know from friends experiene the whole thing can be quite testing on both. /everything crossed for some little embryos to transfer and freeze :)

Izz now someone told me today pumpkin seeds can have a good effect on mens sex drive....hmmmmm!
Grin Grin Grin

mummy you dont have to feel wierd about feeling jealous of cycles, everyone understands! No different than being pleased for someone getting that BFP but whilst being delighted for good news it pickles you brain cos you damn well want it to be you!! Although, (whilst i hope i didnt sound insensitive there, didnt mean to if it came across like that) this i suppose is a little more out of your control, with consequences. I hope you consider legal action against the hospital for DS birth but more importantly i hope you get answers!

inbetween sorry you are going through the frantic pee-sticking manic phase :( I was there a couple of weeks ago!

Owls whoop for finding somne boots, I always struggle!

Bee you only just have bought TCOYF? i thought from your knowledge you must already have it! It is a brick but its a good read, well worth it! If only i hadnt mislaid my thermomertre!

youremindmeofthebonfire · 05/11/2010 20:09

mummya I am really sorry that you feel this way. It's completely understandable, but it makes me very sad that we can't quite provide what you need when you have been an amazing source of comfort and support to all of us. I wish you lots of luck in whatever course of action you need to pursue next. Hope you keep lurking and keeping an eye on us. HUgs x

We went out for a half hour, climbed a massive hill to see the best fireworks, had 5 minutes up there and ds wanted to come home because it was cold. Never mind, theres always next year!

It's official test day tomorrow, day 30. Not at all hopeful, but heres my crossed fingers.

dachs Lovely to hear from you, sorry it's all a bit much. Good luck for next week.

Velvetcu · 05/11/2010 21:11

Sorry she got you Izz

Mummya dont go too far please I fear I will need your charting knowhow soon! Sorry that you are feeling down, I can't begin to imagine how you feel.

PFF I like the dream!!

Well my temp is still high so looks like i did ov on day 14. Nothing I can do now :(
Have a good evening ladies

AandRMum · 05/11/2010 21:27

Dachs good luck with the harvesting. Ivf is the worst process - sofa flumping more than understandable and should actually be prescribed.

MummyA I think you are a real star of a person. You are so kind and giving and I desperately hope this crappy time in your life resolves itself shortly. We are here if you need us but completely get the need to retreat.

YRMOB suspenders are on. Amazing self control on the POAS front.

OWL I am obsessed by boots. I have to hide new pairs from DH Blush

PFF I hope you walloped him one with your bags as you got off!! I hate having people invade my space and to fall asleep on you ... arghhhh.

Nix glad you have DH back in the straps!!

I am DPO 1 maybe 2 and I suddenly have big boos and all sorts of cramps and pains WTF!?!?

AandRMum · 05/11/2010 21:31

x-post Velvet was there no SWIing at the right time?! Sorry I have lost track Confused

Velvetcu · 05/11/2010 21:41

Yeah there was SWI day before and day of ov but i soo wasnt ready! hopefully this cycle will be a reasonable length otherwise I think i will win the prize for the longest LP in history!

AandRMum · 05/11/2010 21:45

Other than the sheer annoyance of the wait - is there any problem with having a long LP?

AandRMum · 05/11/2010 21:50

velvet have strange image of you prepping the troops - 'now eggs there are a bunch of sperm heading this way, I want you to put your best foot forward' Grin I think we are cycle buddies this round!

OrangeToeNails · 06/11/2010 01:33

Evening/morning Pink good dream and makes sense, if I could just tell myself that I'd be a lot happier. You should rest your shoppinng bag on that bloke's leg, bet he'll move it then :)

mummya I can't begin to imagine how you feel, but I do know it sucks

inbetweener that's the worst thing, I feel pleased for them but hard not to feel jealous - I do

dachs I hope all goes well for you
