I've always had OV pains since I was a teenager. I usually get a sharp pain (presumably thats when eggie pops out) then a dull ache for a couple of days afterwards...

...come to think of it i haven't had that this month. And no CM either and I'm on CD14...hmmmm, what going on there then??....

Coathanger · 20/09/2005 14:17

Not that I'm TTC but I like to keep track

Diddle · 20/09/2005 14:18

coathanger maybe your cycle is playing up like mine can't believe it was 43 days last month, not right at all

It's like she's rubbing my nose in it...

Diddle · 20/09/2005 14:25

I've done that twice, so know how you feel. Its why I started to panic about my age etc. Its probably done it before but at a time when I wasn't so focused on it iykwim

Wills · 20/09/2005 14:46

What does bd mean?

Missmibaby · 20/09/2005 14:55

what does cm mean? I think bd means baby-dancing?

Wills · 20/09/2005 14:56

Ohhh how absolutely gorgeous. What a really wonderful phrase. I shall use that it everyday life from now own. Mind you I talked about my Auntie Flow to my dh last week (cos I spotted for 5 days) and he thought I had gone made.

Coathanger · 20/09/2005 15:14

CM = cervical mucus BLEUGH!!

Wills · 20/09/2005 15:36

ugh. so what about cd? Cycle day?

wishingchair · 20/09/2005 16:04

I assumed cd was cycle day but could mean something totally different for all I know!!

Oh slinkstah - I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Such an awful thing to happen. Can't imagine how you must have felt - so helpless I guess. I lost my little one at 19 weeks back in Feb (valentine's day) but he'd died about 3 weeks earlier. Like to think he quietly passed away safe and warm inside, but still can cry thinking he died all alone without me even knowing. Such a shitty world, but we find strength from somewhere (mumsnet ) and carry on.

Talked to a friend last night who got pg with twins the first time she had unprotected sex. She apparently said to her dh 'come on let's just see what happens' and boom - preggers with twins. Now I'm not saying I'm hankering after twins but ffs ... one bout of bd-ing and 2 babies are made????

Missmibaby · 20/09/2005 16:14

wishingchair - it does seem unfair doesn't it? I have a friend who couldn't help telling me how fertile she and her partner are. Trying to steer clear of her atm - shameful I know but she does have a tendency to rub my face in it iykwim

Lottielou · 20/09/2005 16:30

Good Afternoon Lovely Ladies!
How are you all doing?

Lottielou · 20/09/2005 16:35

The aspiring psychiatrists were attending their first class on emotional extremes. "Just to establish some parameters," said the professor to the student from Arkansas, "What is the opposite of joy?"

"Sadness," said the student.

And the opposite of depression?" he asked of the young lady from Oklahoma.

"Elation," said she.

"And you sir," he said to the young man from Texas, "how about the opposite of woe?"

The Texan replied, "Sir, I believe that would be giddy-up."

I know, thats pretty pants!! Not pants as in you underwear pants but pants as in crap! Not crap as in nasty stuff that comes outta dogs bottoms crap as in rubbish, not rubbish as in ...... ok i'll stop! where are those tablets?

Lottielou · 20/09/2005 16:40

wishingchair · 20/09/2005 16:49

Made me snigger lottielou - obviously have a low humour threshold as the crap ones are the best in my opinion!!

Am going to change my view and not look at this ttc milarky as ttc but rather make the most of this shag-fest and have a bit of fun instead! Roll on thursday when dh gets home

HellKat · 20/09/2005 17:16
