Sorry about the bfn raspberry! Hope it was just too early cuz heavy/tingly nips sound like a symptom to me.

highheels nice jokeGrin

I'll probably test this weekend... but since I don't think I ovulated I'm sure it will be (-).

Good luck tomboy!!

TigerseyeMum · 09/10/2010 10:48

Hello all Frollickers. I have been away a while - no time to even think about conceiving, work has been manically busy for both of us so no bedroom shenanigans for us :(

But some good news - I had my hospital appointment re: endometriosis, and they said my tubes are clear and my ovaries free and fully functioning Grin

So that's something. I am getting a dab-hand at knowing when I am ovulating - anyone else got the 'Sixth Sense' for it??? I never noticed it before, but even when I lose track of my cycle (it is a few days out here and there) I 'know'. Odd.

Mind you, unless we get horizontal fandangoing soon it's of no use knowing when I ovulate and when I don't Wink

I hope everyone is ok, any good news?????

I will try to catch up but it's been ages.

gardenpixie · 09/10/2010 10:52

Hello everyone,

Well I had good news at my scan - there was a big follicle on my left ovary just over 20mm. So my consultant got me to have an hcg shot and said Mr G and I need to "be active" TWICE a day for the next three days. So Mr G is thrilled! Quite glad it's the weekend though as I'm not sure I could have fitted in double SWI on a work day!

Raspberry and alien sorry about the BFNs but don't give up hope! I asked my consultant when I should think about testing and she reckoned to leave it a few days after ERTD is due as she's just had one lady who was getting BFNs until she was ten days late. While that's pretty uncommon, she said that some women's bodies are better at metabolising hormones than others so there is less left in the pee. Fingers crossed for you both

Miss Flick very encouraging that there is no sign of FERTD for you ... we will have to think of lots of interesting and fun things to tell you over the next week to keep your mind off testing!

Zippys hope you are alright and not too frustrated by your cycle. Also, I know the Drs have said there is only a small chance for you and Mr Z to get pg naturally ... but fingers crossed you two are the ones who get lucky because you've been through such a tough time. Great that you're getting lots of reflexology. I can't remember if I told you but two of my friends are trying for a baby together and as they are both ladies, they've had to go down the IVF route - their consultant told the one who's planning to get pg to have reflexology as she said she's seen it help loads of times even though nobody's quite sure how or why it does.

Tomboy fingers crossed for you that PMT symptoms stay away! And are replaced by more suspicious symptoms...

Toria ooooooooooh very Envy of your hols plans! Sound lovely!

Right, best go as Mr G needs to head off to work and I need him to do some tasks of a different sort before he goes Blush

Big Saturday waves to everyone xxxx

gardenpixie · 09/10/2010 11:14

Hi Tiger lovely to see you! And great news about your tubes and ovaries - hurrah! Hope you get more time for the horizontals soon Grin xx

TigerseyeMum · 09/10/2010 11:18

Morning Mrs Garden! And good news to you about your follicle!

I was hoping for some horizontas this morning but when I woke up he had already gone to the allotment Hmm and despite a few texts, vegetables seem more urgent than fandangoing!!!

Ah well. Maybe later. If I could always ovulate on a weekend, we might be in with a chance! Weekdays = impossible!!!!

I bet Mr Garden thinks all his Christmasses have come at once!!!! Wink

SpookyKalooki · 09/10/2010 12:10

Sorry to hear about the BFN raspberry

tiger great news! That must be a relief!

gardenpixie · 09/10/2010 12:21

Tiger Mr G is an allotment fanatic as well - I do sometimes wonder about his priorities! But yes, he is a very happy bunny at the moment Blush

Hope Mr Tiger manages to find time for some Tiger propagation as well as looking after his marrows! xx

TigerseyeMum · 09/10/2010 12:26

Thanks Kalooki it was certainly good news as my insides had been in quite a pickle prior to my laser lap a few years ago. Hopefully nothing bad has grown back in the few years that have passed.

Grin at Mr Garden allotmenting too. Sounds like he has his priorities right though. Mr Tiger has just rushed home having rung to see what the texts meant Confused Bless, men are simples.

Not before he managed to dig a bucket of potatoes and some red chillies Grin

MissFlick · 09/10/2010 14:30

Hi Loves,

Just a quick pop in to say that I'm really excited about your 20mm follicle garden! Great that you had the HCG shot too- everything is looking very good.... :)

Welcome back tiger glad you have been given the all clear too.

Love all the talk of allotments- I want one!

OP posts:
highheelsandequations · 09/10/2010 14:49

Quick pop in to say sorry about the BFNs raspberry and alien and fantastic news garden about your scan, plus good to see you back tiger and glad you've also had some good results. Still no sign of FERTD here but trying to stay positive, sure it will show up sometime soon. Back at some point later in the weekend for a proper catch up, it;s a miserable wet day here but thinking about putting on my wellies and stomping through the woods for a bit, possibly in the direction of the pub for a rare afternoon pint... :o

raspberrytipple · 09/10/2010 15:00

Hello girlies,

Thank you for your sympathy but ERTD got me this morning rather unannounced and at a particularly inappropriate moment (TMI but right in the middle of some special snuggles Blush. I'm not feeling to bad apart from a hangover which I acquired last night. I also caught up with a very good friend who I wanted to tell I was trying but hadn't seen for a long time. She has two girls and when I talked about what we had been up to she started telling me how she was shocked when she got pregnant and hadn't been trying and I nearly said 'well that's not making me feel better' but then she told me that she had actually been off contraception for 9 months before she caught. another friend told me this morning that a couple who I know vaguely through her that I thought got pg on a whim had actually been trying for three years and were just about to go down the IVF route and caught. Amazing what people have been through and you just don't have a clue!

toria how are you going about a detox? I thought I might give it a go leading up to Christmas and try to be very healthy, not to lose weight or anything, just to be good! I dont eat massive amounts but I dont eat particularly well I have to say. I most definitely don't drink enough water either!

garden that's a very good point about testing. Even though its the first day of a missed period there may just be odd things going on in one's body. I know I said it this month and last but I am not going to stress out about it now, I'm not even going to think about it now I've missed the Christmas club!

alien sorry about your BFN too. Has ERTD arrived yet?

tomboy I have my fingers crossed for you!

florin glad you feel more positive, I know how you feel with the 'I want it now' thing, I feel exactly the same, I'm just so impatient Smile

truffkin how do you feel now a few days after your massage? I'm curious to know whether it has quite a long lasting impact? Do you still feel nicely stretched and pummelled? Hope some EWCM turned up for you so you can get some SWI in over the weekend Grin

higheels did you go to pole after? I really wanted to do tricks tomorrow but can't now because of stupid ERTD but it does mean it will be out of the way for my tricks masterclass next Sunday whoop whoop as they say!

welcome goldmaple I have trouble keeping up too sometimes so dont stress! Nice to have you in the pub.

josie hope you feel better soon xx

zippys sorry to hear your cycle is being a pain in the arse but hope you get ERTD soon if you are deffo sure you are not PG.

hello tigersmum good news on your scan that's great, you can stress a little less now you know everything is clear and fully functioning!

Hello to everyone I have missed. I really need a nap, Im too old to have a hangover and its just about killing me from being tired, even though I was in bed by 1 a.m. but we are off out tonight again for a meal. I shouldn't complain but I do because I'm tired and grumpy. I have also decided I really like the word 'follicle' I dont know why, I just do. 'rambunctious' is also a favorite. Does anyone else have favorite words or am I just a bit weird?

alien06 · 09/10/2010 15:14

raspberry sorry to hear that ERTD has got you, no sign of mine yet, but think it is on its way as I am eating loads and bbs are getting bigger lol.

loving your favourite words :) I know what its like to have a hangover combined with shocking tiredness. I was taxi to hubby last night and am shattered and we were in bed by 2 lol
took myself of shopping today on my own :( still not met a shopping buddy around here! got some boots that I have needed for sooo long, and since I used to get all my knee high boots from Faith I have been pretty screwed finding them for this year! luckily Topshop had a gorgeous brown pair - these are them

whoa long web address! i only went to exchange a £30 item lol Blush
also got these two dresses as I looked hot in them haha sorry but would have been rude to have not bought them...

MissFlick · 09/10/2010 15:17

Oh sorry Raspberry :( Onwards and upwards though xxx Hope the hangover clears soon. I think I will try a detox soon too- toria's sounds like it's making her feel great!

Enjoy your holiday toria!

and sorry for your BFN alien

You're doing so well to hang in there highheels and maintain this positive attitude.Your walk sounds lovely- as does the afternoon pint :)

Florin, did you say you had the doctors yesterday? If so, how did it go honey?

Have had a lovely day today, pottering around this morning and then went over to my friend's house for cheese and champagne to kick of her 30th birthday celebrations. We then went for pedicures and manicures and now I'm having a night in watching Eastenders, Waterloo Road and last week's Strictly. Mr. F is at Rugby so I am making the most of the house to myself and indulging in the soaps he hates Grin

raspberry At least you can focus on next month now, I always find the wait between BFN and ERTD really annoying.

So who is doing stuff for Halloween? I'm busy planning Halloween party stuff (ps. if any of you are in the Hert/Beds/Bucks area, you are invited! Would love to meet you) There are some great things to make Grin Our flat is going to look amazing!

Afternoon Frolickers!

Sorry ERTD got you Raspberry but you sound well up for next month (and your drinking last night is totally guilt free!) I know what you mean about not knowing what people go through. A girl at work recently announced her 'happy accident' which would normally get me bristling, but I found out that she was told she'd never be able to have children after previous radiotherapy and was booked in for full hysterectomy at Christmas. She found out she was pg at 12 weeks when she was taken into hospital as they thought she was falling ill again due to the sickness. Quite heartwarming!

My physio seems to have done the trick as am feeling so much more mobile today. Pain is much more manageable too. We're going to try a walk to the pub for dinner to treat Mr T as he's been brilliant all week whilst I've been out of action. It also means I can indulge in a medicinal glass of wine or two after that effort!

Garden good work on the juicy follicle. Hope the hormone shot does it's thing and your SWIathon is worthwhile!

Kaloki your halloween plans sound very ambitious. We don't do anything, although I love the fireworks display at Ally Pally for bonfire night. I love that wintry feel, smell of sparklers and of course, baked potatoes!!

Morning everyone - and happy Sundays all round.

Just a quick post with the list. Not much news since yesterday although I did have really stabby pains early this morning which kept me awake for a couple of hours - so I'm hoping that was my follicle actually ov-ing. Quite glad it was a weekend so I could stay in bed late this morning to have a lie in!

Hope everyone is well and enjoying their wekeends xxx

Toriajayne · 10/10/2010 11:04

Raspberry Sorry about ERTD lovely. For detoxing I started by cutting out alchohol completely, at least for now (after feeling truly awful last weekend with a booze, caffeine and Nandos hangover) caffeine has gone as well, I'm now on Chamomile tea and decaff coffee, I'm weaning myself off Aspartame and refined sugars and I'm drinkng loads and loads of water, no specific amount, and only if I'm thirsty, but getting rid of diet coke and coffee leaves me thisty quite a lot! I'm also trying to avoid processed food and have been making myself do meals from scratch rather than rely on jars of sauce etc.

I am, of course, as I type this, eating Galaxy and drinking caffeine free diet coke, but baby steps Wink

Tiger Good news about your scan!

Garden Well done on your mahoosive follicle, glad Mr G is trooping on Wink

highheels Enjoy your pint!

I also have favorite words, dish is a particular favourite, for no apparent reason! Today is meant to be for packing, but instead I am curled up on the sofa and wondering what's going on with my FF as it doesn't like today's temperature reading Hmm Planing to ignore it and take the advice of SWIing through that someone gave me last month Grin OH is out putting up a marquee for a few hours so have plenty of time to stare at David Boreanaz in leather trousers read for a bit before I go and pack. Happy Sundays ladies!

JosieSmith1 · 10/10/2010 21:38

Sorry for BFN Alien

Toria your holibob sounds fab! Have a great time! Smile

Great news Tigerseye Smile

Oooo Garden, bet you and Mr Garden are knackered by now! Good luck!

Sorry ERTD got you Raspberry. I always think a lot of my relatives got pg really easily but I bet if I asked they had been trying a lot longer than I think. In regards to fave words, I love pleb and eejit! Grin

I know it's late but MissFlick your saturday sounded divine!

Well, feeling better tooth and cold wise but went to the comp with horsey today and ended up falling off! Wasn't too bad though and I got back on and did a few smaller jumps, so tonight I am shattered but that's 3 crappy things out of the way, things have got to start looking up for me now Grin Still don't feel pg though HmmBiscuit

HRHCavey · 10/10/2010 21:59

Good evening ladies, I hope you are all well and enjoying your SWI-ing.

[waves] to all the newbies.

Raspberry sorry that ERTD got you.

Nothing really to report in my world: still no sign of ERTD.

I have my first reflexology session booked for a week on Tuesday, so we'll see if that does the trick.

DH has left this evening to go on his diving trip to Gibraltar, he won't be back till 22 October, so it's just me and the cat for a while.

I'm still having up and down moments, but I am trying to stay as positive as I can for the time being.

(((Hugs))) to all :)

Morning everyone, hope all is well with the Frolickers today.

Josie you poor thing, falling of your horse! I hope you are OK and not feeling the effects today. Cups of tea and home made apple crumble to you xx

HRHCavey lovely to see you - sorry you are still having ups and downs. I was thinking about you lots last week and I hope you are OK. A pint of wine and hugs (and some apple crumble if you want it) to you Smile

Toria your detox sounds most impressive! Are you feeling better for it now? I've been reading the Emma Cannon book and realised there's a LOT I need to be doing re diet. I'm working at home today so I'm only going to have healthy things - one day at a time I reckon! Although I absolutely can't do without my cup of tea in the morning ...

Big Monday waves to everyone; hope this week is off to a good start xxxx

Thanks for the tea and apple crumble Garden, that should soothe the aches I'm suffering today! Grin

Hope everyone is ok today. xx

Hello everyone,

Sorry for absence - combination of awful time at work and generally not feeling too great.

Have missed loads! WIll try and catch up at some point but just wanted to say hi to all and hope everyone is well.

Sorry for ERTD Rasberry (hope your hangover has gone) and welcome back to Zippys -lovely to have you back!

Garden FAB news about the scan - keeping fingers crossed for you!! Hope the weekend was nice and relaxing!

Flick pleased you had a good time at the wedding and good luck with your scan this week xxx

Josie glad the tooth is on the mend! Hope the fall with the horsey was ok.

Hello to everyone else!! Will catch up properly later!

I am on CD25 so wil see what happens. My thyroid levels had decreased but not enough really so on a higher dose of thryroxine again - jou :)

If anyone is interested (and based in london) my accupunturist rec this natural fertility clinic - I have booked myself in for a hycosy as I am getting fed up waiting for my fertility referral. It is a few hundred £'s but have prob spent more than that in ov sticks, books, essential oils and vitamins so thought what the heck - am just going to go for it.

It;s in Richmond SW London : www.naturalgynae.com/

womanlytales · 11/10/2010 10:24

lanky Good job on booking the hycosy - best of luck with that :)
