kaloki you are right it is shit, however I now feel more positive than I have in months as known things aren't right and now it's going to be looked into and hopefully sorted out. I'm only 27 so time is on my side. My mantra is there is no rush however still doesn't stop me wanting to stamp my feet and demand my baby right now!
Morning to all the other frolickers. I am on a course today for work so should mean an early finish, day out of the office (always good!) and a nice 3 course lunch in a posh hotel, so should be a good day.
Anybody reading Emma cannon made the barley water? Meant to be very good for you so I made some and it's not bad so trying to have a glass every morning. Anybody tried any of the other recipes?

Kaloki · 07/10/2010 11:01

Same here Florin, only 26 here. Saw the GP this morning, he is going to test me for PCOS/diabetes/thyroid problems, feeling better now things are getting done. Though he suspects the pain is something else entirely Hmm

Enjoy your posh lunch!

MissFlick · 07/10/2010 11:27

Will be back later on to attempt a catch up but just wanted to say florin send me your address and I will pop a CD in the post to you over the weekend xx

FLorin I had a scan a few years back and everything was fine, but I will see what doc says, he knows I am TTC as he removed my Mirena lol, he is really good so I am sure that he will get me scanned if that is what is needed, if not I shall start pestering him lol

scared as dont understand why i am having pains, unless I was pregnant and the little egg was having fun with a little sperm lol,and my tummy is swollen so me thinks something not quite right is going on down there Confused

Hi Frollies,

Loving the jokes Grin Great idea raspberry You are being very retrained with putting the test date back- sickness sounds very promising.....

Sorry to hear your news Kaloki and Florin but really pleased that you are both feeling positive that action is being taken. That?s exactly how I felt when I had my scan and visit to the gynae. I felt that it was out of my hands now and a big sense of relief that an expert was ?in charge? now so worrying was going to do no good. Thats why I decided to just chill out and made a real effort to ?destress? each day. What does the doctor think the pain is kaloki? or did he not say? I have my rescan next Friday so fingers crossed that the cyst they saw on my left ovary has buggered off.

Also sorry to hear about your poor ratty kaloki :( and echo the compliments on your wedding pics! You look stunning :)

Hope you?re enjoying your lunch florin and how is little Daisy settling in?! I?ve not made the Barley Water, or any of the other recipes in fact. Must try harder!

Hope you?re feeling ok alien

Glad the tooth is better josie and that you had a lovely weekend- am v.jealous!

Great to see you back calyx - I re-added you to the list. Really good news that you are getting all those tests done xx

highheels Thanks for your address- will get the CD in the post over the weekend. Any sign of the dreaded ERTD yet? Really hoping it comes soon lovely. You are doing a grand job of staying chipper honey :)

cave have you had the reflexology yet? I really think it will work it?s magic on you too.

Any more Ovving signs gards? Good luck for the scan tomorrow xxx

Sorry about your poor back truff :( Ouch. Well done you for battling on with the SWI regardless- that?s the sign of a true droik Wink

Good luck with the job interview prep tomboy

Hope you're ok if you're lurking lanky and not too busy at work xxx

Hi fellow first timer frolickers! Can I join? Been on MN for 1 cycle but am always daunted by this thread because there is so much to keep up with! It will take me a while to get everyone straight...

highheelsandequations it seems that I am having an an-ovulatory cycle as well (based on my temps). Do these happen to everyone occasionally? (anyone know?)

I added myself to the list.

Kaloki · 07/10/2010 15:14

Welcome in goldmaple!

Don't worry so much about keeping up, most of us who've been here a while can't keep up! Grin

womanlytales · 07/10/2010 17:37

Welcome goldmaple - - I think that's all I really have is anaovulatory cycles and not to scare you It varies from individual to individual, the sub-fertility issues you have (Thyroid, PCOS, Obesity, Other endocrinal disorders, etc), your life situation, level of stress and least of all but nevertheless a factor - age.

Even if everything was all ok, it's normal to occasionally have an anovulatory cycle. I would say 'relax' but I hate it when others tell me to -- cause it isn't really about being relaxed but about having sufficient information to gain a basic understanding of what could be going on inside oneself.

Glad that time is on your side and you're in the hands of experts - kaloki and florin.

Good luck with your scan garden

Baby dust to everyone.

highheelsandequations · 07/10/2010 17:41

Welcome joke for goldmaple
An egg and a sausage are in a frying pan. The sausage says to the egg "Phew it's a bit hot in here", the egg says "AAAARGH! A talking sausage". Still at work, waiting for my acupuncture appointment (down the road) at 6pm. Then have pole, but don't know if I'll manage it after the needles tonight... If I'm not hanging upside down I'll pop back to the 3 follicles later :)

Truffkin · 07/10/2010 18:22

Hi Droiks (glad that's sticking Flick it feels less fluffy than Frollies for me!), glad there is a positive vibe in the Three Follicles today. I've been to see a new physio today and think it went well. Some of the thigns she did to 'release the muscles' were painful, but then I know that's because she's moving things that need to be moved. She told me to keep mobile for an hour afterwards so I went for a wander and ended up buying a family size bag of M&S salt and pepper crunchy combo mix, which I am now happily stuffing my face with Blush

My FF iphone app says I should be fertile over the weekend (with OVing on Tuesday) although no sign of EWCM yet (not that I've ever been an accomplished furkler) so am hoping things get gradually better in the lead up to a SWI marathon (not up to Garden's standards of course!)

Welcome MapleLeaf to MN, TTCing and to this thread. We need someone who's fairly new to TTCing to restore some element of calm in the Three Follicles Grin

Thanks for the big up Flick you know us droiks can't pass up the chance of SWI, as you so hilariously reminded us with the non-smudge fake tan episode recently!!

Here's my contribution to the crap brilliant Frollickers joke book:

Did you hear the one about the magic tractor?
It went down a lane and turned into a field (boom boom)

gardenpixie · 07/10/2010 19:43

Hello everyone,

Truff your physio sounds pretty good - especially if it demanded the purchase of nice yummies afterwards. I hope it's helped and that your back is on the mend. Thanks for your kind post about being positive about things

Kaloki I am sorry you didn't get great news from the Drs. I second what everyone else has said about it is better to know what's going on. I was very down when I found out I had cysts but I am so pleased I did find out because I can actually do something to help. I know it sounds daft but it's amazing what help we can get with those sorts of things now and it really is a case of conception taking a little longer and needing a bit of a nudge rather than being the end of the line.

Florin yes getting tests done on different cycles is totally normal and often a way of getting through it faster. If poss, you should try to get your CD1-7 test done on days 2 or 3 as this is when your hormone levels across the board are lowest.

Calyx hello! Looking forward to getting to know you better. It sounds like you have had a really tough time - you are a star for getting through it all. I am sure the baby fairies will look kindly on your efforts Smile

Goldmaple welcome! Lovely to have you with us and may this thread bring you tons of baby luck Smile

Miss Flick hello how are you? Hope you are well and getting over the jet-lag

Thanks everyone for wishes of luck for the ov scan tomorrow. I am not sure what to expect as the EWCM stuck around until earlier today so, if I am getting ready to ov it might well show up. Having said that, I haven't felt anything particularly ovvy by ways of stabbiness etc so ... who knows ...?

I am actually quite relaxed about things though as I know there are other options available to us if the clomid doesn't work. Obviously I am keeping my fingers crossed (but not my legs) that it will but reading about some of the other things that can help is really encouraging.

And DH is, as ever, being a trooper!

Big waves and sorrys to everyone I've missed, I'm sorry I haven't been around much over the past couple of days, I'm just trying to get through as much work as I can so I can take the weekend off!

Am going out with a friend after my scan so I'll most probably report back on Saturday morning to avoid drunken posting!

Lots of love to everyone xxxx

JosieSmith1 · 07/10/2010 21:08

Evening everyone.

I took today off work as I'm very poorly sick Sad with a cold. Taking tomorrow off too, think my body is trying to tell me I need a rest. Refusing to take beechams or anything just in case I'm early pg! Hmm

Hope everyone is ok, will catch up properly tomorrow when I should be feeling a little more human and able to concentrate on what's going on with everyone.

P.S. [whispers] don't feel pg yet Biscuit

raspberrytipple · 07/10/2010 22:09

Oh no I am having a collapse of will power ladies!!! I just went through my dates and thought today was day 27 (I didn't look at the list) but I'm on day 28 and not a ertd Symptom in sight. I feel sick and have done for two days now and I have a bad back. To top it all off I was putting some pants away and found a pk of two pg tests!! I don't even remember buying them but they are boots cheapies. Seeing as tomorrow is day 29 I might just break my resolve and go back to my plan to test tomorrow morning. Also, I have a pole tricks master class next Sunday. If I am pg do you think it would be safe to go? I don't think dp will let me but that means I'll lose £30. I'm just in a flap now an am warbling sorry, it's just thrown me finding the tests and realising I'm a day behind of myself. Oh, and my nips still feel odd too, dp wanted to play last night and they just were not interested which is not normal for me, (tmi sorry) but they are the guaranteed way to get me going normally and last night I just didn't want them touched, they don't hurt they just feel weird and heavy. Ignore me, I am having momentary mentalness that I know dp won't appreciate so I need to do it here Hmm

Truffkin · 07/10/2010 23:26

Aaaaargh Raspberry you know that you will only get encouragement to test on here so if you're looking for help with the willpower sorry! Your symptoms sound promising and you'd need to check if pole tricks would be safe so early on if you are pg. Keeping everything crossed for you whenever you do decide to test.

Florin · 08/10/2010 08:08

Rasberry think you have done well not to test already. I can never resist an upopened pregnancy test!
Missflick I have messaged you my address, let me know if you don't get it as I have never used it before so hope I have done it right!
Josie hope you feel better soon
Garden Hope your scan goes well, will be thinking of you
Welcome to the mad house Goldmaple
Hope everybody has a good Friday. I can't wait for the weekend and for once its going to be a quiet one for us which I can't wait for as normally we are rushing round. Going to do a lot of house stuff be nice to just spend time just dh and I

gardenpixie · 08/10/2010 09:16

Morning, just a quick one from me to say

Raspberry I am very excited! That all sounds hugely promising! I think you are amazingly strong for not testing already. I reckon you should do whatever feels right - the only rule is that you have to keep us posted when you do POAS!

Josie hope you are feeling better!

Right, off to work and then my scan... fingers crossed for good news all round for the Frolickers this weekend xxx

raspberry sorry but I say 'Do it, do it!' Normally i would advise caution and say wait but I think it is a sign that you have the tests in the house and that you were a day behind your self....I shall say no more.

garden good luck today- everything crossed for you lovely xxx What time is the scan? I would like to see a little bit of drunken posting :)

florin enjoy your quiet weekend- I love those! We're having a nigh in with a take away curry and some box sets, can't wait! Your CD is in the post as is highheels' and alien's I hope the shoddy postal service doesn't take too long! Let me know when they arrive :)

Glad the physio helped truff- I'm sure the choclate did too!
No news from me. If my cycle was regular I would be heading into testing time so I am trying to not test until next Friday when I am sure that the gynae will test me when I go for my scan. Other than that I am just ecstatic that the weekend has finally arrived- yipeeee!

zippys · 08/10/2010 14:09

Hi fellow frolickers, sorry I have not been on for a few days but I have been reading all your post, just madly busy at work ,so v v long days! So only time for a couple of mentions Sad

Firstly thanks so so much for the response of me coming back, it made me cry!! (i know big wuss)

Kaloki as you already know doctors dont think before they open their mouths, try to keep positve if you can.

Raspberry I am a reformed POAS addict so would say TEST TEST TEST

garden good luck - keeping everything crossed for you.

My cycle is playing silly buggers with me as I am on day 39 and not sure whats going on as when I had my reflexology the other day she said she could feel something going on with ovaries which would fall in line with having ovulated about a week before, which I would have though too based on cramps etc but now no sign of FERTD my past few cycles have been (most recent first)34 41,34,36,34,66,,38,32,29,39,34,33 so all a little weird as LP is normally smack on 14 days. KNowing my luck I am going to miss another period again like I did near Christmas!

Part of me wants to test but I know that I have about a 0.000001% chance of being pg!!!

Sorry for the me me me post, I promise I will try to get up to speed soon.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend

xxx

zippys · 08/10/2010 14:10

sorry forgot to say - welcome back Calyx nice to have some "oldies" around Smile

raspberrytipple · 08/10/2010 17:37

Bfn :-(
Nevermind. Feeling a bit pmt like today today. Off to a party later so will have a drink or two to commiserate I think. I reckon my body is moving to a longer cycle. Whose next to test? x

zippys · 08/10/2010 19:46

Sorry to hear the news raspberry would say you never know till fertd arrives but know it doesn't always help!

TomboyWife · 08/10/2010 19:51

Evening ladies, the weekend starts here!

raspberry sorry about the BFN. But it's early, I'd try again in a few days if ERTD doesn't arrive.

josie sorry you're ill. Sad

Goldmaple welcome to the thread! As others have said, it's not unusual to have the occasional anovulatory cycle even if you're perfectly fertile otherwise.

CD26 here, my shortest cycle was 26 days and I'm not feeling anything like as pre-menstrual as I usually do. However, I'm not feeling anything like pregnant either. Hmm The next few days will tell I guess.

alien06 · 08/10/2010 21:21

raspberry sorry to hear about BFN, I agree with TomboyWife about testing in a few days. I am just behind you and had BFN too , but know that I am not preggers as now have all the PMT symptoms.

x

Toriajayne · 08/10/2010 21:52

Evening ladies! I apologise profusely for my extended absence but has been a funny old week. Have been trying to get in most days and reading but not posted slaps wrists

Welcome to the madhouse Goldmaple I'm pretty sure I had an anovulatory cycle last month and appear to be ovulating atm according to all my usual signs and fertility friend agrees with me (even if it is a bit early) so fret not!

Raspberry and Alien Sorry about BFNs, it's not over til it's over though :)

Welcome back Zippys!

Garden Hope your scan brought good news.

Josie Sorry you're feeling ill, what a rough couple of weeks!

Truff That is one of my OH's favourite jokes! Glad your physio went well.
