Hello all

Just a quick one from me to say I survived my blood test (usually I either faint or throw up - or sometimes even both) so I'm very happy! Should get the results early next week.

MissFlick that's great news about your ready-to-pop follicle, brilliant! Fingers crossed it's the one that's going to do the job! But, even if it isn't, it's great that they are going to move quickly with the clomid and hcg.

Big waves to everyone else and sorry I have to run, off to get my roots done and new hair cut to see if that will tempt Mr G out for a nice dinner later Grin

Fingers crossed for anyone who is going to POAS soon and my big learning from the enormous amount of HCG I was injected with last week is that not feeling anything doesn't mean there aren't any hormones zooming around! We are due some BFPs soon ladies ... I can just feel it! xxxx

JosieSmith1 · 15/10/2010 14:19

Someone hit me with a kipper quick! I feel the urge to PO-anything-slightly-resembling-AS!!

No sign of ERTD but I think I may feel the beginnings of cramps, just not sure! If I had a god damn stick I could pee on it then a BFN would stop me obsessing thinking about it.

Must keep busy this afternoon, must keep busy this afternoon, must keep busy this afternoon.............

highheelsandequations · 15/10/2010 16:29

Flick good news about the scan and that you're getting some intervention quickly. Sounds like you're being well looked after.

garden congratulations of surviving your blood test :)

Good luck to those testing soon.

Thanks for all the ERTD wishes. I am ever so sightly confused today though as woke up with loads of EWCM (to the point (apologies in advance for TMI) that I wondered if we'd DTD last night and I forgot Blush) and have had EWCM all day. Now surely it is too late to ovulate on CD54?!?? But if it's not that, what is it?? Suppose I should wait and see what happens over the next couple of days and see what my temps do but something very strange is going on here Hmm In the meantime will just have to grab DP for some SWI, thank god it is the weekend, and not just the weekend but THE HOLIDAYS!! WOO HOO!! The last 9 weeks have been far too long.

Now should I go to boot camp at the gym or walk to the pub for a glass of wine instead?

JosieSmith1 · 15/10/2010 16:38

Pub HighHeels definitely Grin. And thanks for the slap, though it hasn't done the trick! I'm fit to burst! Grin

No idea what the extra EWCM could mean but maybe it's not too late to ovulate?

highheelsandequations · 15/10/2010 16:44

That's what I'm hoping josie but I think it's pie in the sky thinking! Good luck if the kipper doesn't have an effect Wink

fedupttcnosuccess · 15/10/2010 16:45

When are you testing Josie? What are you testing FOR? Opks or hpt? Sorry, on phone, so can't read back properly?

MissFlick · 15/10/2010 16:50

Just off of to bed now- will chat to you all tomorrow.

higheels I don't think it's too late to Ov so get cracking :) I was thinking it was too late to ovulate on day 34/5 but apparently not (fingers crossed) and just look at kurly Hi 5 on making it to the holidays! Whop, whoop- hope you went to the pub :) Holidays have come just in time for some SWI for us both it seems.

kurly great news on your scan by the way! So pleased for you :)

I think you should just go and buy a test josie you are officially late after all :) When you off to get your hair chopped?

garden, glad you survived your test- when will you get the results lovely? That's so true about the HCG :) Something to remember!

Thanks womanly ! Hope you enjoy your shopping weekend. Am sure your hair looks lovely :)

Sorry to hear you have a headache and think FERTD is approaching slow fingers crossed it stays away.

Have a lovely rest of your day and great weekends Frolickers xxxx

I am testing tomorrow morning if I can hold out that long for pg! Providing ERTD doesn't arrive the minute I get home, which it did last time I was this late. Going to bring horsey in straight from work so that activity might just start it off if it is coming. I think I can feel that tension-y feeling in my stomach area but no proper cramps as of yet (can you tell I'm a geordie Grin)

If not I will be off to asda and fidgeting in my car seat all the way home, and you know I'll not be able to resist PingOAS tonight GrinGrin

JosieSmith1 · 15/10/2010 17:14

Sorry MissFlick, getting hair chopped at 9.30am! DH doesn't know I'm booked in and he won't be pleased as he wanted some say in the style but he'll be at work. Oh well, it'll grow out whether he likes it or not

HRHCavey · 15/10/2010 19:08

You can ovulate at any stage, the thing you have to remember is that your luteal phase is never more than about 14 days. So if your cycle is 44 days long you will have ovulated on or about day 30.

The luteal phase is the most regular part of your cycle, the variable part is the pre-ovulation stage.

Just wish I'd get cracking with the ovulation!

TomboyWife · 15/10/2010 23:57

Evening ladies!

And I'm very a little bit drunk. See what freedom a BFN gives you?

Josie good luck with the POAS!

highheels good luck with the SWI!

And good luck to myself for finding my way to bed without tripping and falling down the stairs. I exaggerate, I'm not that drunk, but I did fall asleep on the train home and nearly miss my stop. Oops...

alien06 · 16/10/2010 02:16

tomboywife wow that is some impressive spelling when drunk!! well done,
hope you had a good night :)

JosieSmith1 · 16/10/2010 07:52

Mornin everyone

Tomboy hope ur head isn't 2 sore this mornin

Anyway, off 2 get my hair cut off, then out 4 a ride, I'm plannin on bein 2 distracted 2 notice anythin 2day, unless ERTD arrives

LankyLegs · 16/10/2010 10:10

Morning gals,

Sorry for BFN josie - but good thst ERTD is staying away Grin

Just wanted to say whoever does the list can they put me on CD1 Cycle 13 please - ERTD arrived this morning. Joy.

Flick pleased the scan went well - great that little eggy was about to pop too! Get SWI-ing!

garden any news???

Higheels get shagging just in case!

cavey hope you are ok - I imagine you must be super frustrated with not getting ERTD or knowing whenyou are ovulating. Chin up chica xxx

Thanks tomboy for the wishes too - hope that ERTD is staying away? And hope your night out was fun!

Have great days all - soooo pleased its the weekend.

Back later for proper catch up - but off to bond street now to chose my first wedding anniversary present from MrLanky Grin then going to eat LOADS of sushi and drink even more wine cause I can! There is an up side to ERTD after all.....

xxx

alien06 · 16/10/2010 10:13

hey everyone, ERTD is on its way so can I go back to CD1 please of er I think cycle 4 lol.

TomboyWife · 16/10/2010 14:10

Afternoon ladies!

alien sorry about ERTD. Sad

Josie sorry about BFN. Sad

There have been way too many things to say sorry about recently. Where are the BFPs? We're way overdue one.

I have a slight headache today, but it's nothing too awful. Still no sign of ERTD. I had cramps for a few days around the time it was due, but those have gone. My usual pattern for long cycles is 35 days, so if I get to 36 or 37 I'll POAS again.

JosieSmith1 · 16/10/2010 14:40

Thanks everyone but ERTD jst arrived Sad, obviously jst wanted to keep me guessin this time round! Very disappointed as we gave it a good go this time but still didn't work.

My new hair is lush even tho I ruined it by wearin my ridin hat, but it took literally 5 seconds to straighten again so I'm happy about that at least

gardenpixie · 16/10/2010 16:53

Hello ladies

Just a really quick one from me as I'm about to head off to a friend's for an evening of chilled girlie chatter (and possibly some cocktails). I just wanted to say boooooo for all the FERTD action going on for the Frolickers. It's just not fair! Alien and Josie I hope you are OK.

Tomboy I echo the congratulations for your excellent posting-under-the-influence! Hope you're feeling OK today and up for some hair of the dog. How frustrating about the BFN and long cycle - I hope there's a BFP coming your way shortly (and drinking a lot is bound to coax one out)

Lanky have fun shopping and drinking!

MissFlick how are you doing today?

Big hellos to everyone else Grin

No news from me - I think I should get my test results back on Monday [fingers crossed emoticon] and I can't POAS until Friday anyway because of the HCG shot so, if the results show I did ov, I'll just have to rein in the bonkersness and crack on with next week like everything's normal!

Obvs if the results say I didn't, then I shall down gin with impunity.

Take care all and I'll check in for longer tomorrow xxx

raspberrytipple · 16/10/2010 18:19

Hello all,

I've been a bit AWOL i think, cant remember when I last posted so just a quick one as I've lost track a bit having not been on for a few days. Hope everyone is ok.

MissFlick sorry you were feeling so upset the other day, I think I would feel exactly the same and will do if any friends announce their pregnancies but am glad you are feeling more positive now! Lovely thought buying her flowers, its amazing being with someone through such a special time. I worked in an office with a girl during her pregnancy four years ago and it was great fun, she cried, stropped, demanded biscuits and decaf coffee and dropped pens on the floor all the time just to make me pick them up because she was to fat to bend over but it was the most fun 6 months we ever spent together so I really hope you enjoy your friends pregnancy too, dont let it get you down as it will be your turn soon xx

Sorry to those of you with BFNs and ERTDs, I think that's why Ive stayed away for a few days, I was just putting up with the fact that i am not pg and therefore didn't make the Christmas club by keeping myself distracted by other things but felt quite down about it.

I am going to take a much more chilled out approach now for the next week/rest of this cycle, mainly because I cant see us getting much SWI in over the next week or so while I'm at my most fertile as work next week is due to be a frigging nightmare but then its half term and all will be well again until OFSTED turn up.... so I can sympathise with you alien - inspections are stressful and we haven't even been given notice of the date yet, hoping it wont be until a little closer to Christmas as we are implementing some great stuff at the moment which will help our gradings I reckon.

garden well done you on the bloodtest, I dont have a problem with that sort of thing but a friend of mine does and I went with her a few weeks ago to literally hold her down, she cried, was nearly sick and really stressed out, she nearly bolted when they put the tourniquet on poor thing.

highheels that's funny to have EWCM but I get it at what I think are odd times. I have started having EW on Thursday so CD6 but I don't normally ov until CD16 I reckon, I think bodies are all so individual and do very strange things at very strange times so where there is EWCM let the SWI commence lady!

lanky congrats on the first anniversary!

Hello to everyone else, sorry for the distinct lack of responses to everyone. I shall just lurk now for the next week or so as shall be working late for the next week while chaos ensues......

tatafornow xx :-)

MissFlick · 17/10/2010 04:27

Good news you like your hair josie and that it is so easy to care for! What did your DH think in the end?

Sorry about your FERTD lanky but sounds like you had a good day planned to take your mind off it! What did you choose for your present and when is your actual anniversary?

Any news tomboy? Really hoping that this is it for you.

Hope you enjoyed your evening garden It sounds lovely.

Good to see you back raspberry I was wondering where you were. Thanks for your lovely message. Hope your week of working late goes ok- hang in there for the holidays. Mine have just started and I am loving the feeling of not having to work. Sorry you have been feeling down about not making the Christmas Club, just think though that when you announce your BFP it will brighten everyone up in those horrid winter months of Jan and Feb xxx

How are the Hallowe?en plans coming along kaloki?!

How are you florin? Has your CD arrived yet?

higheels any more news on the EWCM situation? I have been doing research and seen stories of people ovulating as late as day 60 and getting a BFP so I hope you?ve been doing your SWI?ing. I think I may have ovulated as I have had a nagging ache around my right ovary region on and off since wednesday (and this was before I even knew about the follicle on that side so I know I haven?t made it up!) Yesterday it got quite bad in the afternoon so I had to put one of those heat patch things on and today I have woken up to no nagging pain so hopefully it popped out yesterday. I had EWCM on Thursday, Friday and yesterday too so fingers crossed that the fat follicle did what it was meant to do Grin

No other news from me, was out a BBQ last night and drank far too much white wine so feeling a little hungover but nothing a ham and cheese croissant won?t cure. I have to do a bit of tidying today as we have a friend coming to stay tomorrow so I need to make the house presentable. She is coming after a nasty breakup with her boyfriend so will be doing lots of fun things this week to cheer her up. Other than that I plan to do a lot of lying on the sofa and watching the telly :) Starting with last night?s Strictly.

Big hellos to womanly, cave, truffkin and toria Hope you?re all having lovely weekends.

Hope everyone else is well and that there are not too many sore heads in the Three Follicles this morning.

Will pop in later in between my TV viewing Grin

Toriajayne · 17/10/2010 13:23

Good afternoon ladies! That's us back from NI and just about caught up on some sleep (seriously, I thought holidays were meant to be relaxing!) Spent four days doing all the really touristy things and one night with a friend who lives in Belfast and his family drinking the bar dry :)

Pretty sure I ovulated on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning judging by EWCM and my traditional stabbing ovulation pains (though FF is confused and thinks Thursday due to my temps taking a while to spike, as we were camping some nights though there was no way we could get in SWI every night hehehe) either way, my temps are now up and we managed it every other night until the day my temp spiked so fingers crossed! Now focusing on keeping myself warm and chilling out. Finding it much easier to think about things other than TTC now I'm home and not doing long car journeys every day!

I have read through everything you've posted in my absence but my brain is mushy so I'll leave it at this, I have lots of wine (and Old Bushmills whiskey if that's your thing) and doughnuts that we picked up in Tesco at half eight last night on the way home (so much for the detox Wink ) so I'll just put them on this table here and curl up by the fire for a while.

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday!

highheelsandequations · 17/10/2010 13:38

Hi everyone. Feeling very :( today as temps are not showing any evidence of ov despite the EWCM. Got slightly excited yesterday as went up by .2 degrees but then back to 'normal' this morning so had a cry and a bit of a rant and now am manically working my way through my to do list to take my mind off things. Not a good end to the weekend after I'd been having such a nice time. Went to the pub on Friday in the end (and only felt slightly guilty for not going to the gym) then had a lovely day in Edinburgh with my mum yesterday. Just now back to feeling useless and fed up again. I know that the PCOS means temping and stuff is not always necessarily reliable but I need to do something or else I'd go mad. Just wish we could have some good news for a change. Sorry about me me me post just needed to get it off my chest. Back later to see how everyone else is doing.

alien06 · 17/10/2010 14:40

Miss Flick keep forgetting to post that I received your CD , many thanks x

MissFlick · 17/10/2010 14:48

Your holiday sounds lovely toria- well done on the SWi-ing too.

highheels I know how you feel my love. Sending hugs your way. Wish I could offer some advice but I can't think of anything useful to say that doesn't sound like a cliche or that you haven't probably thought of yourself :(

Glad the CD arrived alien That was quick! Happy listening :)
