Hey thank you all for luteal phase insight. I know nothing. Have got pg ever so easy before, but now Im feeling ancient (but I know Im not really) am 33, 2 c/s and starting to really wonder if thats it for us. :( whinge whinge. Yes tomorrow will be a better day.

I checked out FRER's this afternoon, but didnt buy any,(yay me!) dont want to waste money, and also want to stay in denial until the witch, RTD or whatever arrives.

Im sorry that there are so many of us getting to the what would have been 20 wk 'phase' Tis truely crapulous.

ANYWAY!! Xfactor, curry and beer tonight and its all going very nicely so far. Will be away for the next couple of days, its half term week next week so going to visit my parents for a few days. Will be back to read about lots of BFPs on wednesday :)

sunchild77 · 16/10/2010 22:26

Sorry ladyB have crossed posted with you.. Sorry about AF arriving thats crappity crap :( I hear ya, be nice to yourself...

Choccybick · 16/10/2010 22:55

Hey peeps,

in the words of Sunchild77 and Scarlet o Hara ? tomorrow will be a better day for those not feeling so grand today.
Ladyboo ? sorry about the arrival of AF
And Velvet ? you too ? is AF being a pain disappearing again. Maybe it was just light this month.
Pinkff I hope your hangover calmed down from the good old German beer. Had to think of you tonight when I had a ?Bier?. Have fun with your SIL whatever youre up to

Goodness gracious A& R Mum for those mega long distance driving genes. I thought my Germany-Northumberland car drives were long. Hope youre having a nice time in Venice. I love it. Ist sooo quaint. DH proposed to me there on my 30th....many a moon ago.

I´m 36 (still.....only 3 more days >>waves at Nicksters wee one

Urbanlolly · 16/10/2010 23:28

MummyAbroad · 17/10/2010 01:51

Thanks for the red wine, cheese and choccies girlies!

DH has been trying to keep me off the internet all day, but I just snuck back in while he is putting DS to bed.

gotta run before I get caught!!!

Can I join. I had a mmc and had an ERPC on Friday. I am not at the TTC stage yet but hope to be in the next couple of months and was just wanting to lurk.

Hi there everyone. On phone so just a short one! Hope you're all having a nice weekend. Welcome to sherbet!

I thought the x factor was utterly awful! Why doesn't even Simon tell them the truth!

I had the would have been 20 weeks recently too, it is a hard milestone to pass and I was upset too, I think it's because it is a moment of great excitement and good news for most people and for us, it's another reminder of what we have lost. Don't think there's anything else to do except cry over it and let it out. The "I ought to be pregnant" thoughts are something others don't really understand

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 17/10/2010 12:27

ladyboo sorry she's arrived, that's crap Sad. Hope the appt goes well tomorrow and you start to feel like you've moved forward a bit x

choccy hope your dh feels a bit better today so the SWIing can begin! We've been doing pretty well here, although because I tend to ov late and get loads of highs on the CBFM first (on third day now) I'm trying not to exhaust dh too soon!

urban hope you enjoyed the red Grin. 37 isn't old anyway, loads of people are just starting out then.

tunnocks good to hear from you and it's great that your body seems to be getting back to normal. Will see if I feel brave enough to do the stats later and add you in...

lemonsherbet sorry you're having to join us Sad but welcome! Feel free to lurk as much as you want and join in as and when you feel like it x

kat I agree. X factor was rubbish. Even Simon isn't very interesting anymore.

how are you doing, chica?

Choccybick · 17/10/2010 12:42

HI peeps

Tunnocks glad to see you popped back and are getting down to trying again.

Hi Lemonsherbet sorry you had to find your way here but we´ll be there for each other.

Okay will save Izzy doing list, but I´ll propably boob it up myself. I need to find more excuses to keep me away from doing the ironing, cleaning and other mundane stuff...

Hey all, toooooo many bubbles yesterday...worst hangover ever; ability to communicate is low!

Hope you're all having a good weekend Smile

Hi Lemon sorry you are here but welcome.

Oh yes Choccy it started on Wed once a day minimum but we were too pissed last night and fear will be asleep by 8pm tonight so not likely today either Hmm! Didn't realise Kat was also going to be at it Grin at the same time (just noticed on list)...hope you've all been busy girlies Grin

I know what's happened, lemonsherbet's stats have got mixed up with tunnocksteacakes - have added tt into the ttc list.

tunnocks I've counted the date of ERPC as cd1 for you, I'm sure someone will correct me if that's wrong! Also, I didn't know your ucl so feel free to put it in.

Have also knocked velvet back to cd1 until we hear any more from her...

Just popping myself down to CD 1.
Sorry about the mope last night, I was definitely in a funk. I feel ok this morning, disappointed but ready to start it all again. I'm just trying to pull together a sheet of my medical details for the appointment tomorrow and to think of any questions I've got. I think I really just want to know what the results are, double-checking what they tested for.

Hi,

I really hope you don't mind me posting, I've lurked on all the threads for a fair few months whilst we've been TTC but have never posted - I#m feeling brave today though Smile

I got my BFP last week, and after months of trying (plus 2 years for DC1 and 18 months for DS2) I am in shock that its happened, i've been trying to think if I did anything different last month.

The only thing I can think of is that I took Acai Berries (I was trying to lose weight and these herbal tablet things were meant to help, nothing to do with TTC) I don't know if they made a difference, if its connected with the BFP or if its co-incidence. I just thought I would mention it incase they turn out to be some miracle working berries. They were a couple of quid on ebay.

Sorry for the interruption, good look to you all.

PinkFondantFancy · 17/10/2010 18:37

Hello all! Hope you've had good weekends! I'm on phone so I'm sorry if I miss anyone off ( can't scroll back while I type so have to remember!!)

mouse glad sat went well, hope you had chilled weekend and your dh is spoiling you with lots of choccy

ladyboo best of luck for tomorrow, let us know how you get on

chocs hehe once german beer hangover died down I went to a beer festival!!! Not good for someone that's had no booze for months! Oh well!!

mummy a is it you that's hangover on bubbles?? Heheh classy girl!

Welcome lemon, sorry for your loss :( feel free to lurk for as long as you fancy, and also feel free to join in when you're ready-don't let the speed of posting on this place put you off!

tt can I have some cake please? Why on earth were you awake that early??

nicksty how is the decorating going?

Where has mrs teabags gone??!

Hope everyone else is doing fabulously. I am feeling v positive and optimistic today. Fm asked for it's first pee stick today, it was v exciting!! It told me that I've currently got low fertility-at cd6 I could have told it that!! Hopefully it will be more insightful as the month progresses!! Also, my MIL has made me a Rose quartz necklace which is not only beautiful but is also supposed to have a strong effect on improving fertility!! Bonus! Also currently reading taking charge of your fertility-it is super interesting although don't think I'll be reading it on the train due to v graphic diagrams!! Hehe been reading it is car and dh almost crashed when he glanced over!! :)

Jamface · 17/10/2010 18:53

Hi everyone,

Hope your weekend has been good.

Welcome lemon. I'm sorry you've had to join us but I hope we can help and I hope you won't be here for long!

Thanks for the tip agnes. That's another one that's worth looking into. They're also a 'super food' aren't they, so can believe they might nudge your body into having all the right nutrients to aid conception.

Commiserations on AF arriving ladyboo and good luck for tomorrow.

Glad I'm only on day 4 as I don't think much SWI would be going on in out house at the moment. DH and I fell out over parenting techniques while DS was having a writhing around on the floor style tantrum after biting a toy and breaking it and now while we're both being lovely to DS we're pretty much ignoring each other. Roll on Monday so I get the house to myself again!

Watched X-factor last night nursing my wine and like the others found it odd. I really don't know how some of them made it through the auditions (apart from the fact they're not talented and funnily so). I do like Rebecca though and have soft spots for both Aiden and Matt. Let's hope Wagner goes tonight - I really don't get him!

Hi to mummya, nickster, mamap, kat, izzy, choccy and everyone else Smile

nickstermum · 17/10/2010 19:15

With you jam, Aiden and Matt, CANNOT STAND Cher or Katie. Whats with all the gangsta crap?! One trick pony and all that! I thought it was quite boring,.. love the lass from tesco though :)

Lady sorry the old bitch got you, :( 37 is not old ladies, i know loads of ladies who have had their first around then, although we all seem to go into flap mode about age when we encounter a problem.

Welcome lemon, thanks for the tip agnes every little helps as they say at Asda!! jam glad its not just me who falls out over parenting! DH and i can be at loggerheads all the time over DS - not good for DS or for SWI!! Grin

I have had a lovely day today. Swimming with DS (like a fish now :)) and big bike ride and park this aft. I muttered to DH that if there was an embryo implanting, i had probably just dislodged it riding up a big hill.... he wasnt impressed!! We then bumped into the friend who is 20 weeks and has stolen my due date :( held it together for the ten mins i saw her, then had a meltdown on my bike in front of my DSis and DBIL! Not seen her since the weekend before i MC, that was tough :(

On a plus its gorgeous weather, the decorating has all but halted today (why did i ever start it?!) in favour of homemade lasagne, & DS time. I am off this week and cannot wait to get stuck in, chill out me time, DS birthday party - all that has taken my mind completely off TTC/babies!! Just what i need Grin

Hope you are all tickety boo, i really must crack open a bottle tonight and join you with the hangovers xxxxxx

I'm here pff! I have been at a wedding yesterday, and today have collected ds from his grannys and been to a farm, with wallabies and meercats and tractor rides. Also chick petting. All very nice. I got heinously pissed yesterday at the wedding and am bloody exhausted today, even after having a night in a hotel with uninterrupted sleep. Bleurgh

I missed xfactor, but not too bovvered if you all say it was naff. I agree, nickster re Cher. Awful.

Sorry you had a leetle wibble Boo. You def not too old though, my boss had her first at 38.

How is everyone else? Whos swi'ing? Good luck to you all, I'm on bloody day 10 already??! I must Make More Effort this month.

Off to watch the results show. No wine. At least, not for a few days..

nickstermum · 17/10/2010 22:55

batfink chick petting, tractor rides, meercats, i thought i was doing well with swimming and bike riding. Grin

No SWI'ing for me as on CD28 ish and have no clue!!!

HeadlessLadyBoo · 18/10/2010 07:19

velvet any news, lady?

PinkFondantFancy · 18/10/2010 08:10

I'm with you boo just nipped in this morning to ask the iron willed velvet whether she's POAS yet-if not why not?!?!

Fm's are brilliant, you get to POAS every day and feel productive doing it too!!!

Alarm didn't go off this morning-bit of a panicy start to the day!!
