cherry!!!!!! Amazing!!! So pleased for you honey!!!This is the best news to wake up to on a Saturday morning- you'll be up soon yourself if you're up at 5 for the wedding. What happened when your DH got in?! Don't feel guilty about alcohol and lack of Folic Acid as we've mentioned before, the baby is kind of self sufficient for the first few weeks with the yolk sac providing all the nutrients until about five weeks here is some evidence! As for not drinking at the wedding, get your DH to order you soda water or lemonade when he goes to the bar and you can put a bit of lime in and pretend it is gin and tonic or vodka, lime and soda or something. Always have a glass with you and If someone else offers to get you a drink just say you've just got one thanks. If people ask why you're not drinking the wine just say that you drank wine last night and have a horrid wine hangover so you are sticking to the spirits today. I hope you check this before you go!

cherry!!!! congrats! Am so thrilled for you. flick's advice as ever is brillant regarding drinking and folic acid. Try not to worry about cramps they are normal. It helped me to think of them as stretching pains rather than cramps.

Flick, my Mum knew that I'd had real problems with my cycles and that I'd had a few hospital appointments to try and track down the problem, so even though I reckon she understood why, she probably won't have expected it actually to HAPPEN! Kind of like the rest of us. No-one else, apart from my best friend, knew though, and I'm trying to hold off telling her for a few weeks at least!

Also liking the idea of a polka dot aga. We are renovating our house at the moment so will give it some thought although think DH would take a lot of convincing.

crazy - Blackheath is lovely and a lovely place to bring up kids! I live in CW during the week so not far at all. We might have been neighbours cherry as I've lived in CW for the last 8 years in various flats! Do you work in CW? I love being able to walk to work but also now get really excited about getting out to the countryside every weekend.

truffkin - hope you enjoyed the England game. Nice to see them on good form again!

Hope the Hen party was/is fun Florin. I have 2 friends getting married in Nov and got invited on both the Hen & the Stag. Unfortunately they are the same weekend so I've had to choose so have gone with the stag party - I'll be the only girl

No news from me. Was out with one of my best friends in RL last night and told her about our TTC. It was nice to be able to share. She is getting married in 3 weeks time so won't be far behind.

bellaby feeling much better now thank you. glad you were able to share with your RL friend. i have also told a few of my closest friends and my mum/sis also know we are TTC. i actually find it is good having them know since they are there when i need a pick up and they are really careful not to bug me for updates too much.
