Settle down girls settle down as I hand you all a yummy pornstar cocktail complete with a sparkler and tacky umbrella. I take it we are all wearing our fabulous vintage 50's frocks, high heels and have our red lipstick on? Make yourself comfortable in the penthouse... the naked butlers are just heading in with grapes and truffles in trays...

All new first timers welcome - as long as suitable goodies and alcohol are dropped into the penthouse for all to share.

Oh and no AF around here - only FERTD.... Capishe??

Congrats crazydayz - may the roll call of bfps not end :)

DessieLou · 04/09/2010 19:38

Yey!!! Congrats Crazydayz and Cherry ! Blimey, what a lucky thread. Won't be many of us left at this rate! Hope all you lovely ladies have a great weekend. I'm heading down the Three Follicles for a few cheeky vodkas...bring on the hangover!

Toriajayne · 04/09/2010 19:47

Evening ladies, what a mad few days! Do we have a lucky seat?

Absolutely adore the Aga btw :)

We've just had my best friend and her fiance up for a night and a day, lots of wedding and baby talk which was lovely, lots of wine also, which while lovely, left me somewhat unsure of my ability to be human this morning, it's been nearly two months since I had more than one pint! Must now go and lie down somewhere as I'm absolultely knackered afer being up til 1am playing Wii, drinking and looking at wedding dresses :) Hope everyone is having a good Saturday!

TomboyWife · 04/09/2010 20:02

Congrats crazy! Damn, there's going to be nobody left on this thread soon!

I'm weirdly comforted to know so many of my fellow frolickers have been massively hung over in the last few days. Sunglasses at the ready ladies!

evilgiraffe · 04/09/2010 22:05

Wow, so many BFPs! Congratulations everyone!

I am starting to think that I should have left the list earlier - I suspect that this is what has accounted for my current change in fortune. Look where I am on the list now! GrinGrinGrin I've put myself back as cycle one, fresh start and all that. I am so Grin right now you wouldn't believe. DH actually picked me up in a giant hug - I don't think either of us have ever been so pleased for the ERTD to turn up!

evilgiraffe · 05/09/2010 09:29

Congratulations, crazydayz! I can't believe the sudden rush of luck for so many people, it's fabulous Grin

ERTD is still here, and I am still beaming. Being inconvenienced has never been so good!

CaveMum, I've no idea what might have brought it on. Me and DH both started on selenium and zinc supplements about a month ago (doctor's advice for conception rather than to kickstart cycles again though). Maybe it was because we went to Bruges with a group of friends over the bank holiday weekend - perhaps all that Belgian beer and chocolate is a miracle cure? I'll have to insist we go away on little holidays more often! Amusingly, our first wedding anniversary is on the 19th so we're going away for the weekend - all being well that should be prime ovulation time I suppose so maybe the holiday theory will strike twice? I won't count my chickens though, the current situation is good enough for me right now.

I've not really been keeping up with you guys too well lately (too much doom and gloom at day two hundred and something) - anyone fancy doing me a quick round-up of the gossip?

Bellaby · 05/09/2010 09:34

Is everyone sleeping off hangovers this morning?

Just noticed that once again my name is creeping towards the top of the list but absolutely nothing to report.

Lanky - glad you enjoyed your lunch on Friday. I went there a couple of months ago and thought it was great.

Have a lovely day everyone. I'm off to play tennis shortly

Bellaby · 05/09/2010 09:37

evil - I think Flick would be best to do the roundup as she is easily the most efficient and organized member of our group! Actually maybe you could do a weekly report on the class flick - Grin

felicityFlick · 05/09/2010 09:45

He he :) round up coming your way later on evil and thanks for the compliment bella. Right now I am furious about this Angry

PS. am still above you on the list bella so don't worry Wink and I'm definitely not prego

Bellaby · 05/09/2010 09:56

That is terrible - when will these one brain celled idiots ever learn Angry

It's actually hard to think of any footballers that haven't been in the papers for the wrong reasons - and these are the people that kids today most admire and look up to Hmm

SaorAlba · 05/09/2010 10:01

Just popping in to say congratulations to crazydayz and massive congratulations to evil. It's been a long slog but you've finally got there. I'm delighted for you :)

LankyLegs · 05/09/2010 10:10

Ahhh Flick just read that - what a tw*t is he? Anyway - they never learn! I hope

Evil thats brilliant news that ERTD has arrived - you must be over the moon and now you can crack on with property TTC. Lovely to have you back!!

Congrats again to crazy and Cherry!! Brilliant!

Bella hope you have fun at tennis (well done for a sunday!) And is nice to be able totalk to friends about TTC in real life - my best friend knows too - and I think it helps.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I am feeling more human today - god these hangovers are not great the older you get!!

We are of to tootle around our new hood (Beckenham) and catch up with some friends for coffe (very civilised!). Getting very excited - have been checking out new kitchens etc Garden would love one of those aga's - gorgeous. I can not believe how expensive everything - out kicthen budget has been blown out of the water just with all the sexy appliances! God I sound old now!

Truff were you looking at wedding dresses for you? Hope the footie was fun!

Flick good luck tomorrow with the appt - hope it goes well.

Have lovely Sunday's all and will pop into the three follicles later! (no porn stars for me - yuck - can't face the after Friday's antcis!)

OP posts:
highheelsandequations · 05/09/2010 11:22

Morning girls, I am joining the hungover crowd and nursing my orange juice in The Three Follicles this morning. My friend came round last night for some girly gossip and movies, I was determined to take things easy and just have a couple of glasses of wine but somehow between the two of us we managed to consume 3 bottles of fizz! We also managed to get through a large proportion of the flapjacks I made, which were very yummy. A good night was had though, we watched 27 dresses and planned our ideal weddings and read each others tarot cards and then I ended up trying to explain synthetic division of polynomials at about midnight (don't ask). I had a horrible time going to bed as the room was spinning and I kept getting hiccups and DP was not sympathetic. Needless to say I am now fairly useless and predict I will get nothing useful done today. It's at times like this that I really wonder if I'm responsible enough to have a child.

Anyway, how is everyone?

dayz I can congratulate you louder now, yay!

evil glad the ERTD has shown up for you.

Lanky glad the hangover's getting better and hope you enjoyed coffee. I really wanted an aga but unfortunately our house is too modern and it would have looked a bit strange. We went well over budget on our kitchen but its all shiny and worth it :)

Bella how was tennis? I feel guilty that my Sunday is going to consist of curling up on the couch listening to the archers omnibus and then watching tely rather than doing virtuous outdoor sporting activties.

Toria sounds like you had a good Friday night.

tomboy a loan of those sunglasses would be greatly appreciated today.

alien sorry you're bogged down with work already. The holidays already seem like a distant dream don't they.

Sorry about FBERTD cookie hope you're okay.

kkas your DH sounds like a gem, my DP just either moans or laughs at me when I'm drunk. Hope you're recovered now.

Flick hope you enjoyed the pizza.

Have to go now as the computer is hurting my head and I'm struggling to type so will just have to wave at everyone else and come back later to chat properly. Off to investigate the fridge in search of hangover cures ....

felicityFlick · 05/09/2010 11:44

Morning!
I had a hen do last night although feeling surprisingly good this morning considering the amount of cocktails consumed. I also learnt to make a few with a very gorgeous brazilian barman!
DH seems a lot better and we have managed quite a lot of SWI in last few days so hoping we haven't lost our chance this month.
Highheel hope the hangover isn't to bad!
Cookie sorry to hear about ERTD, hope your being looked after
Lanky I live really near you! MIL lives in Beckenham so over there quite a lot too.
Evil congratulations on ERTD (not something we say around here very often) I had a 50 something day cycle and that was stressful enough so it must have been awful waiting and waiting for the length of time you had to. Hopefully your cycles will start to settle down now.
Hope everyone else is having a lovely weekend.

Toriajayne · 05/09/2010 12:57

Congrats Evil on the reappearance of ERTD, fingers crossed this is the start of nice, regular, sensible cycles. Also, several of my friends (including one who had been trying for six years) fell pregnant when they went on holiday and had a few bottles glasses of wine :)

Cookie Sorry about ERTD love.

Crazydayz Woo! How very exciting for you, and very self restrained as well! Enjoy the rest of your holiday :)

My kitchen budget was also insane, we weren't planning to touch it but got here and realised the previous owner was actually a complete twat bit of a DIY cowboy and the list of jobs became five months of work rather than the anticipated four weeks. It's now cream and terracotta and has my great grandmother's fifties Kenwood Chef on a shelf insead of hidden away Grin

Just read about Wayne Rooney. What an absolute tosser. He deserves castrating.

Hope everyone isn't suffering too much, Highheels there's bacon in the pan!
