Harriet75C · 02/08/2010 10:54

Thanks for all the good wishes and great to hear all the BFPs.

I have managed to get an appointment at the clinic on Thursday, so will hopefully be all set to have a go when my next cycle hits

Can anyone give ma an idea of how soon after the mc you can expect a cycle to start?

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 02/08/2010 11:06

Morning all, hope you all had a lovely weekend

Extra big hugs for Moof today, thinking of you xxx

Whooooohoooooo! Ivy !!!!!!!!!!!

Happy first day at school Cheepz!

Pretty good luck with all the DIY and trips to B&Q.......2 days right? xxxxxx

battery I like your proactiveness, good luck for this month and you too Viv I am sure Gracie will be sending you some luck x

Welcome PenguinsMummy, Harriet sorry you are here ladies but you are in good hands x

Hopefully I thought I was 6+3 and there were 2 very clear heartbeats when I had my scan on Friday and the sonographer only measured me at 5+4 (which worried me a little but she wasn't concerned). Good luck today Sarah with your scan let us know how you get on

Big hugs to Tigger too I hope you are having a better day today x

Hi Digit, barren loopsy Honey Littlemiss and anyone else I have missed!

saffronbun · 02/08/2010 11:24

Argh, I don't like being at the top of the list, it makes me horribly nervous. I have zero symptoms so am sure I will shortly be at the bottom of the list instead.

Magic8 and Ivy - wonderful news, am so chuffed for you both.

Big hugs for Moof and hoping you are feeling better soon.

Harriet - it seems to vary wildly but mine turned up bang on schedule (about 6 wks post MC, 4 wks after bleeding stopped)

youremindmeofthebabe · 02/08/2010 15:10

harriet I seem to have been 8 weeks post erpc, around 5 weeks after bleeding stopped, although with a day or two's spotting here and there

Ivy for some reason I can't see your linky thang, but evidently that' s just me! Congratulations, that's excellent news.

sarahmia i hope the scan went well.

And prettyv if you're reading this, get back to work!

PenguinsMummy · 02/08/2010 15:24

Harriet I was 5 weeks and 2 days after ERPC but I had excessive bleeding - I ended up collapsing on the hospital floor and scared the pants of both the consultant and my DH - and then ERPC afterwards so didn't have much more bleeding when I finally got out of hospital.

hairytriangle · 02/08/2010 16:40

just popping in to say been thinking about you moof today.

KnitterNotTwitter · 02/08/2010 17:03

Blimey - i go away for a long weekend and lots of things happen

moof and ivy Congratulations - words cannot describe how excited I am for you...

LadyBee I wasn't ignoring you I was just away in Somerset with mum and dad and DS eyeing up a house down there... I'm in London at the moment but regularly lust about making the big move... We did have it sort of organised in that we were hunting now with a view to moving as i went on Maternity leave at Xmas time....but obviously that part of the plan has been buggered now...

FWIW you may like to know that my post-ERPC bleeding has stopped and I'm back at work today. So DH and I may have a cheeky cuddle tonight but it'll be 'without intent' if that makes sense....

Also over the weekend I went to a concert of a local band. The last song they played was 'Well meet again....don't know where... don't know when...' and it totally hit me. I cried in a totally uncontrollable way. I think I may never be able to listen to that song again without thinking of the babies I've lost...

Sorry for a random post...

VivClicquot · 02/08/2010 17:17

Just to say moo, I'm thinking of you lots today honey xx

barrenbrook · 02/08/2010 17:19

moof hope today went ok, thinking of you and dh x

sarahmia · 02/08/2010 18:28

hi ladies.
i need help
just went for a scan at 8 weeks, and baby is looking good... its measuring right and everything there was a heartbeat.
Only thing is that the gestational sac is a little small.
In the drs words "slightly reduced gestational sac"
he has said that it is nothing to worry about and that it should just be reviewed at my 12 week scan but obviously i am having kittens. I dont think i could cope with another loss.
any advice? experience to share?

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 02/08/2010 19:54

Hi Sarah I have no experience of this but I am sure if there was any cause for concern they would have said and probably asked you to come back in 2 weeks. Try not to worry x

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 02/08/2010 19:56

Knitter bless you with the song. It can just hit you out of the blue sometimes, musical is always one to start me off. Glad things have settled down for you

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 02/08/2010 19:57

music not musical d'oh!

Honeywitch · 02/08/2010 20:31

sarahmia keeping my fingers crossed.

Now - I just a did a pee stick. It said pg 1-2 weeks. (OMG OMG OMG!!!!)

Do you think it could be? I did one earlier in this wtf cycle and it said NOT pg, so do you think this could be real???

knitter keep your fingers crossed for me!!!

Honeywitch · 02/08/2010 20:41

Knitter didn't see your post, and now looks insensitive - I do apologise. It's just that I knew you'd be hoping for me after our experiences on other thread - and I hope we both get to where we want in the next year.... x

hairytriangle · 02/08/2010 20:48

ooooh Honeywitch congratulations!!!!

WestYorkshireGirl · 02/08/2010 21:22

Hi All

I thought I would see how you are all doing on the new thread and see the list has been tidied. I had been wondering when to take my leave and didn't just want to wander off, but as there are lots of new people now who don't know me and as I am 16wks now, it seems a good time.

I wanted to thank you all for your support since January - I found this thread a life line through the difficult days and it really helped me. Everyone has always been so willing to offer support and advice and that has been so much appreciated.

I hope to see you all on the mc grads thread ASAP and expect you all to be having loads of SWI! Wishing you lots of sticky beans and the very best of luck! xxxxxx

Cheepz · 02/08/2010 21:37

big girl school was fab - but have a cold and long commute so am knackered and about to go to bed but wanted to say thanks for mentions and asl moof honey was thinking about you today and I hope everything went as well as it can and I hope you are ok. big love.

congrats to BFPs and sorry not to namecheck, shagged - not with any kind of intent or otherwise!

tigger15 · 02/08/2010 22:14

Hi I'm feeling much more tigger-like today.

I've had the hsg. It wasn't too painful (I was working very hard on relaxing hypnotherapy type breathing throughout) and they were very nice and answered all my questions about where bleeding comes from where the thing goes into and rabbi has confirmed that all is ok to SWI although I'm still feeling a little tender. They told me that I'd find out the results at my next appointment in September.

So I'm feeling very relieved at having got this checked off and am now going to give it 2 more months and if nothing happens in that time (or they don't confirm my belief that there's nothing identifiably wrong with me) then I'm going to give ttc up for quite a while until my head is in a better place.

Thank you for all your support and sympathy over the last few days. It's been really appreciated.

My temps just went triphasic. I did a test the other day - came up with an utter squinter of a line after about 7-8 minutes (but you had to take it out into daylight to see it).

This morning's came up within the 5 minutes - but it's still so faint I can't be 100% that it's got any colour to it at all - and the fact that it's so incredibly faint worries me after last time anyway. Cba to go track down a digital and be disappointed - refuse to accept it's anything but an evap at the moment.

ledkr · 03/08/2010 07:52

Honeywitch..was sleepless last night and was having a mooch and saw you have had a bfp. Wow. I hope it stays that way we were on the Feb thread together and both oldies. luckily I'm still on there but often thought of you so made me happy to see your news. good luck love x
Hi knitter. Hope the same happens for you.

LadyBee · 03/08/2010 08:51

Emptyshell that's quietly exciting I hope those lines just keep coming. I just came on this morning to see whether AF arrived for you so am keeping all fingers x that she stays away and and this one beds down. Am on phone so can't scroll well - hope moof you're doing ok-ish. Nice to see you Knitter I went back to work yesterday too, finding the stressful things much harder to deal with but pleased to have distraction. Honeywitch - wow! That was superquick good luck!
