Some idiot company decided to give me a full time job earlier than expected, and I have a MASSIVE document to finish; they are paying me a load of money (well more than I have ever earned before) so I feel duty bound as the eager newbie to get it done in my free time...

I have no internet access during the day apart from BBC, tfl and a couple of others.

I have also been ill, not with a hangover from the Christmas Party, but with earache, and have had v little sleep, so had to have the day off work yesterday (so much for the eager newbie)

Anyhoo - this means that the matching will be delayed by a couple of days. Sorry

Vouchers are fine. Some people would love to get vouchers, some people want to give vouchers, what's not to like.

Also if I have 40 boys between 7 and 10 to match for and 10 people who have suitable stuff then vouchers are a great solution

Norma so sorry to hear you need the ABs. I feel like you should be adding yourself to the matching, as you deserve a big treat for all the hard work you are putting in on our behalf.

I had been pondering how you do the matching, and it made my head hurt. Do you get a manual from previous MN Santas?

As you're off the alcohol, can I suggest a hot bath followed by yummy takeaway for you and the fab MrFletch when you're done Santa-ing?

Both mine are done, Norma. One by overnight courier yesterday, so hopefully will have been delivered today, the other by first class post this afternoon so hopefully will arrive tomorrow.

Could you post when you have emailed all the matches - I am still waiting for mine and recognise that I must just be further down your list. So I won't keep asking until you say you have worked your way through all of them - then I will just ask if I have heard nothing!

Keep up the good work - and I suggest adding an extra chocolate treat into your reward now that alcohol is off the christmas menu for you.
