Some idiot company decided to give me a full time job earlier than expected, and I have a MASSIVE document to finish; they are paying me a load of money (well more than I have ever earned before) so I feel duty bound as the eager newbie to get it done in my free time...

I have no internet access during the day apart from BBC, tfl and a couple of others.

I have also been ill, not with a hangover from the Christmas Party, but with earache, and have had v little sleep, so had to have the day off work yesterday (so much for the eager newbie)

Anyhoo - this means that the matching will be delayed by a couple of days. Sorry

Is it possible to find out if my match has definitely recieved the parcel. they should have recieved it the Monday before Christmas. It was signed for and I think the first name signature given matches (almost) wth the name you confirmed. Just wanted to make sure it was definitely recieved by the right person, and noone is sat waiting.

I still haven't heard anything despite thinking we would have heard by tues?? I think it was.

The whole christmas thing now seems to have passed and would feel a bit weird now sending stuff wrapped in christmas paper dont you think?

I think that this should carry on, the whole idea is in the spirit of mumsnet, they have been doing this for years, better late then never. I don't mind taking over. I will, of course, remove myself from the nominations list. Maybe if people could start a list or email if they have yet to send and yet to recieve so they can be matched up?
