Who's else setting their alarms ridiculously early tomorrow morning to join the Tesco queue and bag their Christmas delivery slot? 🤣🎄

My husband gets up for work at 4:45am anyway, so he's already been instructed to wake me up at the same time so I can get myself ready to jump in the queue at 5am!

Thought I'd start a little thread so we can all keep each other company tomorrow morning while we're half asleep, clutching our coffees and desperately waiting for our turn to book our Christmas slots!

Got the day I wanted (23rd) but first available slot is at 2-3pm, usually have the 9-10am one, but it's not the end of the world! Hope everyone gets the slot/time they wanted

I'll need to go back to the queue! I've got the Christmas slot I wanted, but you reminded me, I have a birthday delivery to shop for before New Years

And I was feeling so smug.

Joined at 5.45am, 11 minute wait and all checked out by 6.12am (23rd and 30th) whoohoo 🎄🎅

My original queue time was 24 mins. I was in and checked out by 6.16. 3 carrots in my basket.

All done by 6:08!

What am i doing wrong? Can’t see any Christmas slots?

I was up and waiting on the app from 5.30 but still had to wait 8 mins once the slots opened at 6am. Got the slot I wanted all the same - 7-8 am on the 23rd.

All booked for 23rd. Estimated 20 minutes in the queue but was in within 12 mins. Much better than previous years thankfully!

Done, easiest one yet. Hope yours are all as easy 😊

Do you have a delivery saver?

On my phone there was a red button when I went into the normal area for booking slots that said 'Christmas Slots' and I had to click that.

I can't believe we are at this time already - I'm so shocked that I missed that it was even the time to book!

Thanks for this thread, logged on to MN at 6.15 and saw it so logged into Tesco and was 23 minutes

So still waiting, but hopefully will be ok.

All done - got 8-9am on the 23rd which was just what I wanted, also booked slots for the week before and New Years Eve. 🥳
Much faster than in previous years, thank goodness.
Back to bed now I think.

All done here too! Booked for 23rd, 7-8pm.

Had a minor panic as there were no slots showing for either the 22nd or 23rd past 4pm but it had defaulted to the wrong location. Once I changed the location, more slots popped up, thank goodness!!

Opened the app at 5.45, wait showing 8 mins at 6am. Slot booked for 23rd by 6.07 according to my emails. Have also booked a NY slot for 30th, plus normal ones 16th and 4th Jan, all done by 6.12. Didn't even have to leave my warm bed.

Joined at 6.20 (thanks for the heads up) with a 17 minute wait…….

just realised that’s what it is. Will try again in a couple of days

Morrisons had slots for their delivery savers open a few weeks ago. I had a hissy fit because it was ridiculously early

Xmas and new year slots booked!! Excellent.

All done. Slots for 24th gone. So 23rd.

Done and dusted, kippers and custard.

Booked. 23rd and 29th.

Christmas and New Year deliveries both booked by 6:15 even though I did cock one of them up and select the wrong address first time and had to cancel and rebook. I think that was the simplest year so far, no latency, no crashes, it actually all worked rather well if you ignore the human aspect. 😊

@Mummyoflittledragon my store never has slots for the 24th ever
