Tesco Christmas slots 🎄

Who's else setting their alarms ridiculously early tomorrow morning to join the Tesco queue and bag their Christmas delivery slot? 🤣🎄

My husband gets up for work at 4:45am anyway, so he's already been instructed to wake me up at the same time so I can get myself ready to jump in the queue at 5am!

Thought I'd start a little thread so we can all keep each other company tomorrow morning while we're half asleep, clutching our coffees and desperately waiting for our turn to book our Christmas slots!

Who's joining me for the annual Tesco Christmas slot madness?

Am I the only one who just woke up at 7am saw this thread then logged in booked 3 Xmas slots on my usual Sunday deliveries and left with no queue at all?

Queued for 20 mins, booked weekly
slots till the end of Dec and was out within ten mins. Lots of Xmas Eve slots available still
when I left too.

They don’t seem to have publicised it as much as previous years, I saw one email, and they normally send more “countdown” emails.

What am I doing wrong. I cannot see any slots beyond the end of this month.

Our local one doesn't deliver on the 24th.

I only realised it was today as the app sent me a push notification last night. I haven't had an email. Alarm set for 5.45, slot booked for the 23rd and 30th by 6.15. It did seem more efficient than normal.

Booked every Friday from now until New Year.
got over excited and booked 8-10 on 23rd then realised that I have a M&S pick up at 8-8.30. So had to queue again to cancel that time slot and rebook for afternoon but it worked.

Got home 5.15 and went to bed. Have resigned myself to a slot on the 22nd this year!

Mooched on just now and managed to get a delivery for 22nd and a click and collect for 23rd for my
mum and delivery 27th! Very happy

Logged on at 7.10, waited ten minutes and booked all I needed. The benefits of being provincial!

Wait! You mean I could have been in the Q before 6am? That explains why there was a hour's wait when my alarm went off at 6am and I was in the queue at 1 second past 6am! To be fair in the end I only had to wait 31 mins and for the first time ever got the 23rd December. Place your Bets on out of stock items now! 🤣

I strolled in around 11am & got the exact time I wanted on Dec 23rd.
