Has anyone started stocking up on Christmas food?

So today I bought a tub of quality street and some pigs in blankets. I like to try and buy extra bits weekly so it’s not a massive outgoing nearer Christmas. Only thing now is having to avoid the quality street until Christmas 😂
Anyone else started the Christmas food shop?

I've bought a tub of Cadbury's Heroes, and I've ordered a box of Bailey's flavoured Lindor balls. I've also bought the decorations I'm planning on using on my Christmas cake.

Yes, Morrisons has some of the chocolates and snacks I have in for Christmas on offer at the moment so I added a few items to my delivery this week. I’ll do the same for things which are on offer every week between now and Christmas with the aim on not buying anything non-perishable at full price!

I’d love to be able to do that. Unfortunately I have no self control. They would all be demolished within a week.

Oh, and a box of Walkers Christmas-shaped shortbread biscuits, which will go with lemon posset that I'll no doubt make at some point.

This is usually me but I did it last year and success didn’t eat them so hoping for the same victory this year 😂

I have asked DH to hide the Treeselets as they are always in danger of demolition before the season.

Chocolate Oranges for the stockings (DD1 always gets these, but I have to store them)
Will be buying less this year as DD2 has moved out

M&S choc dog shapes and champagne truffles, great crackers (for cheese not pulling), medjool dates and a white wine for Christmas day (that will def be tempting to open and needs hiding)

I did buy a tub of celebrations in Lidl this week because they were on offer. They didn't make it to the weekend 😂

I’ve bought cadburys choc coins when i saw them and m and m/galaxy pouches that were on offer in Asda the other week. Toffifee for MIL and have ordered Lindt as had a blue light code that stacked with another offer. Oh and maltesars when they were £1.80 a box. I am struggling to figure out where to stash them that won’t get too warm though when the heating is on over winter as we don’t have an attic!!
In October I am working my way through the freezer so come November I can start to buy things that freeze well.

DH bought a jar of pickled onions the day before yesterday.😁

No hope for me. I’ve already cracked open the Halloween chocolate 🤣
