All my plans at getting organised in the last thread left me as I realised the thread with referrals was already up and running, so the one I set up I'll link to once the current one runs out!

Welcome one and all to this safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations Smile .

Here’s some useful information about how to save the thread or a specific post so you don’t need to have a message to check in for every thread so you have the thread saved:

To watch the thread - click on the little bell that has ‘watch’ under my first message. This adds the whole thread to your ‘watched threads’

You can also bookmark a specific post by clicking on the ‘bookmark’ under the specific post. This saves your exact place in a thread but doesn’t alert you to new replies.

If you have any referral links or codes, please share them on the referral thread here

A reminder that we don't use affiliated links on here please

If there’s anything you think would be useful or good to include in this post then please do tag me and let me know here (or DM me). Also always happy to hear nominations for a thread title.

This is quite a specific one to NI (and not really a bargain!!) but if anyone's tweens are torturing them for Needoh's like mine are, I was in Smyths Toys yesterday and they've got stock of the advent calendar in - Not available for delivery and looks to be good stock in a few stores in Northern Ireland (but not in the rest of the UK - sorry). They're limiting to two per household.

My baby born clothes have arrived. Just trying to decide if they are a stocking present or an under tree gift!

Scout2016 · 30/09/2026 10:49

I hope this is OK to say, given that they are none refundable, if anyone gets the Starfish blue and silver twist hoops and doesn't like them I would be interested.

Elphaba17 · 30/09/2026 10:49

Thanks to the PLouise posters - DD loves their haircare so ordered a set for her, and all the freebies are a great bonus. Had some loyalty points so worked out at £13.55 delivered!

The mint ones? Or were there also blue ones?

I ordered some to try but I am pretty fussy about jewellery! So if they ever show up and they're no good I'll let you know

Blue ones but thanks!
There were also mint and gold but my intended recipient only wears silver.

Thank you so much, I’ve just used this to buy a Lego advent calendar.

Doitfor · 30/09/2026 11:12

I just can't get the plouise to work, I've tried it on 2 phones and a laptop.

Bluey Lego house is at £30 on Amazon, think this is half price.

This also stacks with an offer on Amazon where you save £10 when spending £69. There's a lot in there (loads of Lego and Duplo). But also manged to get a Sylvanian families cottage in the offer that I'd my eye on for niece, that was also 50% off.

My £1 Amazon jumper was cancelled. Sad times.

Ahh no, mine are still showing as not yet dispatched. I don't hold out much hope though, has anyone's been dispatched yet?

the PLouise micellar water has arrived and it’s great! Thanks so much to the poster who shared this deal, DD will be thrilled!

it’s arrived in a lovely box as well, I’ve just ordered a mystery lip duo and another micellar water which came to £11 with postage

Mine’s arrived too, in a gorgeous box - I don’t want to open it to find out what it looks like inside, I don’t even know if there is one or two micellar waters in there!

Just the one for me but very pleased. Box is about 8 inches long. Many thanks to the original poster!

After the vile morning I have just had at work, I am absolutely FULL of bad bitch energy😹

Hoping my PLouise and Starfish orders arrive soon - I could do with cheering up !

There are some 70% off items in the final day of the moonpig sale, including a bottle of Hotel Chocolat salted caramel velvetised cream for £7.50.

I ordered snickers and candy kittens gift sets. I expect the dates will be short so maybe not great for Christmas but my family will enjoy them this autumn!

There were also some skinny dip items with big reductions, and Cath Kidston and Lego with smaller reductions.

it let me add a free card with a gift too.

The downside was £5.99 postage- I couldn’t find a way round that unfortunately.

Do you need the actual velvetiser to use the cream? Or could it be added to normal hot chocolates?

Its an alcoholic drink, like baileys, no velvetiser needed but I'm sure you could add it if you wanted to

IlovePond · 30/09/2026 12:47

Thanks @lemoncurdcupcake

Meanwhile, I am looking for a credit card sized real leather wallet for DH. It needs to be flap only, with space for notes at a pinch but no coin storage. If it’s not perfect - i.e. tiny, thin and leather he won’t use it.

They are surprisingly hard to find, so if anyone spots something similar I would be grateful for a heads up on here.

I don’t want to spend silly money as DH ruins or loses everything he’s given - probably up to £30 max - preferably much less!

Thanks
