Thread 3 - the one where things get serious

[Reastie]

All my plans at getting organised in the last thread left me as I realised the thread with referrals was already up and running, so the one I set up I'll link to once the current one runs out!

Welcome one and all to this safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations .

Here’s some useful information about how to save the thread or a specific post so you don’t need to have a message to check in for every thread so you have the thread saved:

To watch the thread - click on the little bell that has ‘watch’ under my first message. This adds the whole thread to your ‘watched threads’

You can also bookmark a specific post by clicking on the ‘bookmark’ under the specific post. This saves your exact place in a thread but doesn’t alert you to new replies.

If you have any referral links or codes, please share them on the referral thread here

A reminder that we don't use affiliated links on here please

If there’s anything you think would be useful or good to include in this post then please do tag me and let me know here (or DM me). Also always happy to hear nominations for a thread title.

I've taken a punt on the £1 jumper, although very much expecting NOT to receive it. But in for a penny and all that!

The £2 pjs are a great deal - if they arrive!

A book or nice magazine?

I've taken a punt on the jumper and pyjamas for 5 of us.

If they arrive, this is my bargain of the year so far. Thank you to PP ❤️

20% off George (adults wear) when you spend over £30. Works on Christmas jumpers and family pjs.

Ordered the pjs too. It will be interesting given it’s the same seller.

Not caught up with the thread yet so someone might have already posted but just bought this for my sons birthday and thought I'd share
Hot Wheel Mario Motorcross£29.99 from £59.99

The Xmas jumper and pj's, there is a review on both which is practically word for word. Seems a bit off but hope they turn up anyway.

Lego City is consistently played and returned to again and again in our house. We were lucky and got it for about £3.99 on sale, I would recommend especially if you can get it at that price. Can be two player also.

This is the game I'm referring to in my previous post - Lego City Undercover, which is indeed currently £3.99!

15% off £60 spend on full priced items at the White Company with code 15OFF60

Does anyone know if this Lego is likely to come down in price? My DS has asked for this specific one but I’m unsure whether to just get it now or wait….

I mean I know it’s not overly expensive but any saving is a saving hey! 🙈

Sea Glass Gnome Advent Calendar 2026 £8.53 using the 39% off voucher (n.b. the gnomes are only 2D)

Matalan women’s lounge pants

Thought these were a bargain got them for £3.24 after using the 10% off code.

100% cotton too 😍

Thank you! I’ve had my eye on their advent calendar and this code works with it 😊

This perfume is half price on boots. Great price for JPG

If anyone is still looking for Bloom & Wild codes; I had a box at the top of the main screen in the app asking me to tell them my birthday and they sent me a 50% off code valid for a week a few days before the date I gave them. I’ve just ordered an Elizabeth Scarlett pouch for £17 delivered which seemed reasonable.

@hugsandpugs Lightning McQueen currently £15.99 (free p&p)

The £1 jumpers have increased to £9.99 this morning.

Thank you for these, they also have 2 different tops that match plus lots of other pj bargains!

Local Lindt store had 5x200g boxes for 22.50, which works out to 4.50 a box, not a massive saving if you can find them individually for a similar price on offer but not sure I’ve ever seen some of the flavours they had like matcha and pistachio for that price.

Thank you to pp who posted about the £2.50 world jigsaw from Argos, I am a teacher and a child in class loved it on Friday. When they become disregulated they hyper fixate so the jigsaw worked perfectly to support them.

Also ordered jumper and pj's. Totally worth a punt at the price.

For Switch games my ds loves Mario Kart, hes now 13 and still loves it. Its great as can be 1 player or 4. If you have a CEX near they do some good prices. Also charity shops sometimes have games in so worth a look.

@Puffalicious my dd got her partner a nice leather wallet with coin pocket from TKMaxx, came boxed and I think she paid about £12.99.

@hugsandpugs I love these pyjama bottoms! What is the 10% off code please? I’ve looked back but can’t find it.
